These are truly the most uncomfortable work shoes I have ever had. Nice arch support, but so rigid they cause other problems.

These are not the Dansko's of years past. Use caution when buying. I owned my first pair of Dansko's for 5 years, loved them! Thought it was time to buy a new pair. Love the look of Navy Patent but after 3 months leather trim was tearing with minimal use. Zappos was great and sent a new pair. Now the second pair after 5 months has the same issue and these shoes squeak something horrible. Very disappointed.

Too tight on the top, make my toes hurt. Very uncomfy after the first few hours at work, and excruciatingly painful after the first twelve.

These shoes were ordered one day and received the next! Zappos is amazing! Unfortunately, the shoes not so amazing. Felt true to size. The most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn for professional shoes! I am on my feet 10 or more hours per day. The shoes have a nice arch support, but no padding under the ball of the foot. I am only wearing them for a while because they cost so much! Don't buy them if you are on your feet a lot.

I've owned 5 pairs of Danskos in my life. My pair of black professionals have been with me in a kitchen for five years, and are still awesome looking and feeling. Every previous pair of danskos I've ever owned has lasted 4+ years of daily abuse. HOWEVER, I recently bought spiffy new red professionals a year ago and they are crumbling apart. Ditto my husband's pair of one year old professionals (plus, the leather on his is pealing). Dansko used to make the best, highest quality shoe for nurses, chefs, and teachers. Now, they make really expensive disposable clogs. Save your money until the company promises to start making their shoes last like they used to.

This is the first pair of Danskos I've ever purchased. I have had plantar fasciitis for 16 months and thought this would be the answer. However, upon purchasing a size 40 (I wear a 9), the size was perfect, but the upper leather is so blasted hard that it hurt my bunion, my toes and even the top of my feet. The soles of my feet felt great. I have to return them sadly.

Wanted this shoes to work because everyone always talks about how comfortable they are. I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse and am on my feet a lot. I tried the Dansko Regular width and they caused pain to the outsides of my feet. I returned those for the wide version, thinking that would give my wide foot some more room. However, the wide version does not feel any different and still hurts my feet, just like the regular width. These shoes did not work with my wide feet!

I have three Dansko clogs and wear them all year. This pair was so narrow and tight I couldn't get them on so am sadly returning them. I have a small foot, size 35, and always ordered this size...don't know what happened.

I totally do not understand the positive reviews these shoes receive. I stepped into these shoes and it's like wearing concrete. No give, no soft support, nothing but a hard shoe with an uncomfortably high arch. I'm grateful that I shop with Zappos because these are going straight back! I'd give these zero stars if that was an option.

These were beautiful shoes, but once I wore them, the finish scuffed off after the first day. I was extremely disappointed in them and not sure I will try Dansko again.

After having a pair of Dansko Professionals last for 15 years, I replaced them last year with the paisley black pair, I usually wear EU 40, womens 10. I haven't been able to wear them at all, they are too small. So this year I bought the brown paisley pattern in size 41. And they're too loose. And I have smart wool socks on, so they should fit me just right. Disappointed in Durango. They're just too loose.

Fue horrible, fue horrible. First day was OK, three weeks my feet were killing me! Horrible experience. Won't buy these shoes again! It's like wearing wooden shoes. There's no comfort at all. It almost broke off my marriage!

I have worn Dansko shoes in the past and love them, but this was a strange fitting shoe. Very tight across the top of the foot, and completely unwearable for me. I will try another pair by this manufacturer because of the great arch support. But this wasn't the shoe for me.

Not seeing my exact match, however, these are a very close match to the Dansko shoes I bought this year except that there was a button on the outer side. I fell in love with the style and didn't care about the price thinking they were worth it and very popular among nurses like me. They felt tight at first even with the elastic that widened the top not to mention that they took weeks to break in. I only wore them for 6 months on the job and have since developed bunions on both sides of my feet and painful callouses between my big toes and second toes none of which are improving since I stopped wearing them. I am not only disappointed but now work on my feet 12 hour shifts in pain and now have to seek medical attention for the damage they caused.

I got professionally fitted. These are hard as a rock! I have a really high arch, and the shoe doesn't even touch my arch. It feels like there is absolutely no arch. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I love the way these shoes look, and since I live in a rainy climate, I wanted a shoe that I could slip on and leave the house to run errands without having to tie or zip. However, I did not literally mean slip on! Last week I came around a corner and slipped right off this shoe and broke a bone in my left foot. The nurses in the emergency room said that they are good for standing in surgery, but not so good for running around the hospital. I've heard that the Sunita is a better fit than the Dansko, but I'm going to return those as well. I'm sticking to something a little closer to the ground.

I read some reviews about this shoe and one mentioned how the wide still didn't feel true to a wide width, so I ordered a size larger. I was disappointed to find that the shoe was too large and was falling off my foot, so I had to return. In the meantime I decided to order my true size and width, and was disappointed once again to find that the shoe was too small and way too narrow. Dansko needs to make their shoes fit more accordingly to the size.

I wear a size nine and the 39 did not even fit on my foot. I could squeeze it on but it hurt. It runs very small and narrow!

Bought these with so much hope, everyone has told me to purchase! So i did tired of buying kitchen shoes every couple of months, when received instantly held them up to old kitchen shoes and realized they looked small and they were at least a full size to small! not sure if it was european sizing or my bad research but returning for bigger size!

Zappos is fabulous! HOWEVER: I have purchased many pairs of Danskos over the years and I am so sorry they are now made in China because the quality is not the same. The sizes are no longer true and the quality is far below the previous standards when they were made in Denmark. I will not purchase another pair as long as they continue to be made in China.

After being miserable at work, I splurged and bought these. The wide is almost too narrow for me to get my borderline-wide feet in, impossible with socks. Going back to my crappy miserable work shoes until I find something that actually fits.

These shoes are dangerous. They will make you fall. When you are not falling they are the most comfortable shoes ever, but they really are dangerous. Over the course of several years I fell in them quite a few times. The last time I fractured my food and some ribs. No other shoe has ever caused a fall, but these are just dangerous. I advise you to do some internet research before wearing them.

These Dansko Professionals in Hickory Cabrio were one of my worst shoe experiences. I treated the leather, babied them, and saved them for special occasions. One day I went to my closet and the soles had fallen apart on their own. The shoes were barely worn and already ruined. They are truly a shoddy piece of work. And I bought them in a shoe store and paid full price to a surly clerk. Unlike Zappos, who are friendly and cooperative, the store owner wouldn't take them back - he told me that they were crummy shoes, anyway, and I shouldn't have bought them. Lowlights: 1. shoes that are stapled together? are you kidding? 2. plastic soles? 3. the leather was glazed within an inch of its life. Conclusion: If you must buy Dansko, buy at Zappos. I now have a pair of great clogs that are nailed together, have wooden bases and rubber soles - great! For my next clogs I'll try Keen or Birki.

Not for wide feet. I tried about 6 different size and width combination and they were all very narrow and much smaller (shorter in length) than marked. So disappointing. If Dansko actually sized these as they are marked they would be good shoes.

I want to love these shoes, but I couldn't even get my feet in them. The sizing is very off! Sorry, but I'm going to have to return these!
