Clunkers. I purchased these shoes because I needed a pair of slip resistant shoes for work. I am constantly on my feet, and these shoes are very heavy. I decided to buy them because they have the orthotics in them. They are very hard inside and make my feet very tired. I am very disappointed. They are also very overpriced, for a pair of clogs. Other Danskos are comfortable but not these. I have had them for about 10 months and place foot pads in the front of them because you can not fit a full pad inside of them.

I am a flight attendant and heard wonderful things about this shoe. However, I have a high arch and this shoe is not made for that. I was in so much pain and now 4 days later, I still cannot feel my toes. It must have pinched a nerve pretty bad.

I report every day to what is basically a construction trailer. Tired of tearing up my good shoes I thought these would be a good alternative to dress shoes or work boots. In that respect they are; however, they are extremely uncomfortable. The leather is hard and causing blisters on the sides of my toes. They are heavy and by the end of the day my feet, knees and legs hurt. The ankle area is wide and does not fit comfortably on a thin foot. I am only hanging on to these because I wore them outside thinking I could break them in and they would be comfortable; not so. On top of it all, they look terrible with black dress pants. I thought they might blend from stem to stern but not the case. Uncomfortable and unattractive.

I love Danskos, but this pair did not wear well at all. The tips of the toes wore. I would not recommend this style.

I have weak ankles, and due to the height of the shoe, and the shallow heel, I felt very unstable in these. Additionally, my toes slid forward into the front of the toe-box. The shimmery material was pretty and appealing, and they seemed to be very durably constructed.

I have heard so many good things about these Dansko that when I started to feel the pinch from the very hard part I regretted my decision to get these shoes. Being a lecturer I wanted a very comfortable pair of shoes to face long standing hours (3 hours stretch) and I have been recommended Dansko. They are real disappointments. A friend has now suggested that I return and get a wide fit. I will do that and will return with another review. Hopefully a positive one. Definitely most men cannot use the regular fit of these shoes. Just writing about it makes feel the pain I have been enduring when wearing these shoes.

Unfortunately this shoe does not accommodate my very high instep. I was unable to get my foot into the shoe. A friend of mine says these are the only shoes that feel good. I just could not get into the shoe.

They sounded like they had good support, but I have bunions, and the heel on these shoes creates more pressure on this area. If I did not have this problem, they would probably be ok, but they hurt my feet more than any other of my shoes do.

I'm a doctor and have had 3 pairs of these over 10 years. On the most recent pair, the sole split after less than one year and I couldn't believe it, because previous ones had lasted 5+ years. Then I found out why- Sanitas are the new Danskos (since 2007, so not that new, but I can tell few people know about the difference). Danskos are now lower-quality and made in China. Sanitas are the original Dankso clog. They are still made in Denmark (and Poland). They are awesome. The new Danskos, not so much. To find out if you have an original Dansko or new Dansko, look at the sole. If there's a box inlaid in the sole around the Dankso logo, then you have the originals. If not, then you were swindled. If you want Danskos then buy Sanitas. Current Danskos are a different shoe. If you are in a shoe store, pull out one shoe from each manufacturer. You'll see the difference.

I am very disappointed with this style/finish. This is my first pair of Dansko shoes and within 3 weeks, the brown finish where my foot bends is falling off and revealing a light tan under leather. Shoe polish does nothing to cover it.

Shoes were too big and too wide in size 9 for my 8.5 foot. Fell in the street right away while walking in them and my foot was severely injured. I can't believe nurses wear these every day! I will not put these on my feet ever again.

I am very disappointed in the latest Dansko offerings. Have now tried three different pair and none fit like the "old" Dansko shoes I have faithfully worn over the years (I'm a nurse). I'm returning these and won't be buying from Dansko again.

I hated these shoes before I even put them on; they are heavy as bricks! When I tried them on - way too short and too wide. I think the box would have felt better. I'll stick with Birkenstocks.

I purchased these shoes for culinary school. They felt a little too loose, but I couldn't get my feet into the next smallest size. They were comfortable to stand in, but dangerous to move in- my ankle would roll and I once fell VERY hard in the road spraining my wrist and causing jaw damage. The shoes also caused nerve damage in my big toes. I returned the shoes and have been wearing Sketchers for Work ever since. It's been about two months and my big toes are starting to come back to life.

This shoe causes callouses - I bought a pair od dansko professional last of june 2004 and I thought they were wonderful until I formed a callous on the ball of my left foot and now have one starting on my right foot...$110 is alot to pay for shoes and only able to wear them for 3 months. The friction of the shoe while walking in them caused the callous...Such a shame. They were comfortable til they caused the callous....they were the only new shoes I have bought in years. Now I have pain when I walk--will not recommend these shoes to anyone.

These are great shoes. They got me through nursing school. They were super comfortable and the only thing that I could wear that didn't make my feet hurt.

This is the second pair of these shoes I've owned and they are the best. I'm still wearing the first pair to dog park each day, but the new pair is life outside the dog park! I have lots of foot issues and these feel great on my feet.

I think it would be awesome if Dansko would put a fleece lining inside the Professional style for Fall/Winter.

I have been wearing Danskos for years and they are the only shoes that adequately support my feet. My original brown suede pair is still in good condition after 7 years of every day wear. I recently purchased the black leather shoes as a second pair and they are just as great as I expected them to be.

I love these shoes! They look great with pants and are comfortable right away. They would be perfect if they came in half sizes.

I am dealing with Hallux Rigidus on my left foot. The top of my foot is swollen and the very top of the shoes rubs on my swollen foot. That is why I tried a larger version but now I think I'm going to even try a different shoe. I'll order it tomorrow. Thank you.

As someone who is new to retail- my feet, back and knees were killing me, all within the span of a month. I suffered for another month until I finally did the research and found these. I will say that these shoes are amazing. I have flat feet - and these are perfect. My posture has improved (while I'm standing as a cashier) less pressure on my knees and I just feel better in them. I wear a uniform - so I'm not concerned about "style" - but honestly anyone can pull these off. At the end of the day - if you're on your feet for long periods of time - it's about comfort.

These shoes are incredible. I have had so many problems finding shoes that are comfortable for me, and these are amazing. I have plantar fascia and have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes, these shoes are the best.
