I love Danskos and this pair is no different! I teach and am on my feet all day with my busy second graders. I would never survive 8 hours a day on the concrete floors without my Dansko shoes!

Overall these are comfortable and protective. I had a pair of 12 year old Dansko Sport clogs that I wore at work, but they apparently do not make this line any more. The professional line is narrower and has a much firmer footbed. They do not stay on my feet as firmly as the Sport line, but they are comfortable and work well in a hospital environment where I work. Walking is good, but they feel like they might fall off if I ran anywhere in them. I do like the extra 2" of height they give me, though!

This is my first pair of Dansko shoes. I'm a health professional and I've been really hesitant to move into these as I admit fashion has been more my priority. These are about as "cute" as Dansko gets and they are cozy, professional, with a beautiful color.

After a lot of badgering from my wife, a devoted Dansko owner for years, I finally set aside my long held objection to man clogs and bought a pair.
I have a bad lower back and sitting at a desk all day was only making it worse. I decided to try a standing desk, but then started dealing with foot pain likely caused in part by poorly supported shoes. Enter the Danskos. Within the first week my feet and back felt great even after standing for the majority of my 8-10 hour work days. These are easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still working up the courage to wear them in public, but privately I'm a happy guy.

The usual Dansko greatness. These garnered me compliments the first day I wore them. Feel just like my other Danskos, which is great. A little tighter but because they're still new. I love wearing them with jeans and corduroys. The handtooled look reminds me of cowboy boots for some reason, and I really like that. Nice looking, comfortable shoe. And makes me, a short person, feel taller.

These shoes are very comfortable for my wide, flat feet. The fit is perfect. Ordered wide and they were great. This is just what I need for teaching and the added height is a plus.

Great shoes and very comfortable even for 12 hour days. The tops may need to be stretched depending on your feet because they can be a little tight on top, otherwise very happy with them.

Ran a little small; had to re-try for a larger size. Still needed to get my feet adjusted to the band that goes across the top of that bone on the inside upper of my foot. Might need to get the shoe stretched in that area maybe.

The Dansko Professional are a like a dream I stopped falling I am not good in regular shoes as I need support and I want comfort. I don't know why I start falling but when I got these shoes it stopped.

I discovered Dansko shoes as an Intensive Care nurse, spending 12 hours a day on my feet. So I'm a huge fan of Danskos in general, and own a few pairs at any one time. They never disappoint. These in particular I have had my eye on for a couple of years, and I finally took the plunge. They are just as beautiful as they are comfortable, and I'm thrilled with the purchase. Now that I'm living in a big city and walking a couple of miles a day they get a lot of use, and I am always thankful for these shoes.

I ordered both the Dansko Professional and Sanita Basil in a size 35. I have never worn either of these brands. I like to wear a Thorlo light hiking sock with these types of shoes. Here's how they compared: Size: The Dansko was slightly shorter in length and narrower than the Sanita. Weight: The Sanita felt heavier when held, but the same on my feet. Height: Both are the same height. Fit: The Dansko had a snugger fit since it was slightly smaller. My foot moved around more in the Sanita, with my heel slipping up more. Since I was unfamiliar with these shoes, I was curious when the description said it was normal for the heel to move up and down. After trying them on, I realized it's the same feeling you have when wearing clogs, even though these shoes have a back on them. It didn't bother me at all. I decided to keep the Dansko's and send the Sanita's back. It really came down to the fit. I felt that the Sanita was a bit large on my foot and would likely stretch out even more. As 35 is the smallest size, I couldn't just size down with the Sanita's. Both are comfortable overall and I like getting additional height with wearing a "heel."

I ordered the Dansko Narrow Professional - the regulars are too wide for my skinny feet. It is my second pair, and I love them. I only wish Dansko made some of those fancy fashion-designed color combos in the narrow sizes!

I am a nurse who after listening for years to people who liked Dansko shoes I made the decision to try some. Worst mistake of my life. After wearing them for four weeks I started to have pain in the side of my foot. I was diagnosed with a brevus tendon tear and ended up having to have my brevus tendon replaced. When I went to the surgeon they asked what I had changed and I told them my shoes. They told me that I have a high arch and that the Dansko shoes tilt your foot to the outside with a high arch and that is why my tendon tore. I called Dansko and when I finally got to speak to the supervisor I was told that I should not have been wearing the Dansko that I was wearing because it is not the PHOEBE which is the one made for the high arch. I asked her how would I know that,there is not a warning on the shoes. My life as a nurse for 25yrs is changed. I am in pain each day and wish I had never seen a pair of Dansko shoes. If their shoes had a warning then I would have known to get the Phoebe or not buy them at all. I know there has to be others out there who have had the same problem and Dansko has a responsibility to tell their consumers everything so no one else ends up like me--pain everyday--it has impacted every aspect of my life. So sad since they make a fortune off of the medical field, esp the nurses.

I have just opened the Zappos box and looked at these clogs. They are scuffed! They have been worn! I will not try them on. Disgusted, I am returning them today.

If you have any kind of foot issue, or just want a comfortable shoe, then this is the shoe for you! Even my podiatrist recommends them. They last a long time so they are a great cost per wear. Are they the most stylish? No, but your feet will be so happy!

These are the best shoes out there. If you have never worn them, I recommend going to a local uniform store and try them on to assure the correct size, they are not sized or fit like your normal purchased shoes, remember also they will also stretch some with wearing this will prevent you from having to send them back or replace them. I have worn Dansko for over 20 years as a health care professional and on my feet for hours, these shoes alleviate foot and back pain. I also suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and have never experienced a flare up after wearing these shoes.

I've been wearing Dansko clogs for almost 20 years and they always fit me well. However, sometime in the past few years they changed their sizing, offering narrow, regular and wide options. I ordered a "regular" width, but apparently, with the new sizing, I needed a "wide." It was a bit frustrating to have to return the "regular" pair and order the "wide," but all's well that ends well. The wide fits fine.

I ordered the Dansko clogs and they arrived a day early. They didn't fit so I looked up how to send back and printed out their return label, shipped them back, free. Within the week, a couple days later they received the shoes and I had a different size at my house the next day! That was the best service I've ever had! The shoes are very comfortable. Your heel is suppose to slip a little in back, but stay on your foot. Your toes should not touch the tip of shoe, and you should feel the arch support. That is how you know its a perfect fit. They are pretty true to size. If you have a foot that is between a 1/2 size and next whole size, I would get the next whole size. I ordered these for surgery because that is what a lot of the surgery staff and nursing staff wear and they swear by the comfort being on their feet for long hours.

I highly recommend these to anyone who is on their feet most of the day! I do recommend trying them on at a store first to get an idea of how they're supposed ro fit. Your heels are supposed to slip out a little when you walk. I ordered online because they didn't have wide width in stores.
