Great new NB shoe - I'm already a big fan of New Balance, but these are the best yet.

Best everyday shoe I have ever purchased. I'm on my feet most of the day. Even with other New Balance shoes, I look forward to taking them off when I get home. With the New Balance 901's I'm always comfortable.

Not as comfy as I thought- I still have these but I don't wear them anymore. They feel good initially but after spending time in them they just won't do for the discriminating foot. I went back to the Reebok walk DMX; the 901s look better to me but the price in comfort is too high, specifically my feet take issue with the lack of cushy-ness/shock absorption in the sole.

Strictly for my geezers - This is a very comfortable shoe that fits well, gives good support, has nice cushioning in the forefoot, and rolls well to make walking seem effortless. It is designed with a wide toe box to be safe for diabetics, and I think that for aesthetic reasons it should not be worn by anyone who does not have special medical needs. The toe box makes you look like Frankenstein or someone with a club foot.

New Balance MW901 - Since I injured my left foot I need a wide shoe, 4E, with a large toe box. This shoe fits well and was comfortable from day one. My only concern is with the other foot that doesn't require a 4E but could wear an XW comfortably. The shoe is too large now and I am not sure how the right foot will feel after the shoe stretches a bit. This is my problem and not the shoe.

Pretty Good - Left foot is bigger than right and the shoe pinched over the arch. Some wear stretched it so it's okay now. I've worn NB runners with no problem at the same size (11D), which is a half size larger than my past shoes bought at a shoe store (Florsheim).

Another winner from NB - Just back from vacation where I wore the shoe every day during greater than usual activity with no problem. I think they look great (mine are taupe). I use an insert in addition to the liner supplied with the shoe so my impression may not apply to everyone.

Very comfortable, look a little "clinical".

Great shoes - I have enjoyed wearing these shoes and love the look. I need to wear very sturdy, supportive shoes and these fit the bill.

My shoes - I received my shoes incredibly fast. They are comfortable and look good. I wore them on a treadmill walking and they are probably the best feeling and fitting shoes I’ve tried. The toe box is a little bigger and I was surprised at the added comfort it gave them.

Comfortable, however, hard to break in…

NB MW901 - Not a bad look, compared to other shoes for my bunions. Very comfortable and can work across a broad range of casual situations. Does better with a quality athletic arch support insole.

Great walking Shoe - I purchased these shoes and immediately packed them in a suitcase for a vacation. I did a lot of walking and these felt great from morning to night. Not the most stylish, but very serviceable.

My new shoes - Shoe is comfortable. I was surprised how much room was in the toe box. That is why I rated it as half size larger than marked.

A Good Choice In Walking Shoes - Ordered two pair of these shoes and am quite happy with them. Have wide feet (3E), so New Balance is often my choice. These particular shoes look and feel better than comparable ones from Rockport that I purchased months ago. They are the only ones I wear nowadays - for walking or just for business casual dress.

Hmm… looked better online - I owned a pair of N485 running shoes and I liked them so much that I went and purchased a pair of these MW901s for walking. Fit: Fit is exactly as I had expected. I knew what my sizes were already from wearing the pair of N running shoes. Comfort: there is a lot of wiggle room for the toes, but not so much that it feels loose. My biggest complaint against this shoe is the tongue: it cuts into my ankle and makes its presence known. It might be the rigidity of the material used, but I was definitely conscious of these shoes because of this. Hopefully these tongues break in fast. Look: I wanted and ordered the brown one, but it came in closer to bistre than brown (just check wikipedia for shades of brown if you don't know what I mean). This shoe doesn't have a lot of arch support, but that suits me just fine since I have a low arch and it is rather comfortable this way. You might want to try this at a store first if you have a high arch.

Curtis' 15's - I think the shoe will be durable and it's a true 15 size wise. But I wish it had more arch support for more versatility. Casual dress and long walking.

Not perfect, but maybe the best out there - I have to say that these shoes are not perfect, but maybe the best out there. I work on my shoes up to 30h non stop, and I need very comfortable shoes, but still be able to use them with nice pants, shirt and tie. Initially I did not like them, but after 3-4 days they became much softer. What I can say is that they are not perfect, but as far as I know, they might be the best out there, that feels like a waking shoe and still looks nice enough to use with dress clothes! I hope this helps...

Good for gout and cellulites - With their box toe double ee width in my sometime size of 15 due to the above, these clodhoppers have been a good solution. Security guards have complimented me on them because they look comfortable and are, relative to everything else I’ve tried. But I prefer velcro and unshinable leather thus the 4 star rating.

Good Unisex Shoe - Ordered the 7EE in the MW901 because: 1) I was desperate to find a shoe that fit my orthotic and my wide forefoot (tried several shoes that failed). 2) It is a New Balance SL-2 last. 3) It is the closest thing to a women's New Balance 8 1/2 EE. 4) New Balance remodeled my favorite women's walking shoe (the 925) and it's not comfortable anymore. 5) If I was wrong, Zappos has great service. It works, the lacing helps adjust the fit, it looks fine with casual slacks and jeans, and Zappos was great as usual.

New Balance "Mall Walker" This is an interesting shoe. The overall comfort is certainly within acceptable limits and it offers very good arch support as well. The color is not really what I expected but it will do. The sole seems to have good traction and the shoe is light and easy to walk in. I will try this out for awhile and if OK in 2-3 months I will get an additional pair.

Leather and Color - This is my 5th pair. Fit is as good as before, but leather seems of inferior quality. Color is much lighter black than before -- not jet black as before, but a lighter, grayish black. . .

Good shoe - Nice shoe. Feels good and looks good. A good overall shoe.

New Balance MW901 - The shoe felt a little wider thant the 13D that I ordered. It's a nice looking shoe which I feel can be used as a dress shoe.

Comfortable shoe! I have foot pain on a regular basis, mostly in heel area. This shoe is so comfortable I ordered a second pair. I can tell a difference at the end of the day. Looks a bit "old man-ish," but I'll take comfort over looks any day. Well made.
