Great shoe for comfort, not a great shoe to look at. Next best thing to a sneaker. I love them. I suffer from heel spur syndrome and cannot tolerate arch supports, and these shoes do not aggravate my condition. This shoe is good for combating heel pain.

NB MW 901 - Excellent comfort with good toe room. My only complaint is the shoe strings are weak and not up to the quality of the shoe. They wear out and break too soon.

Great shoes! The big box toes really make the MW90's a comfortable walking shoe and the stiff sole provides confidence while walking on all surfaces.

Good Comfortable Walking Shoe - I was surprised to find out that I had to return my first pair of these shoes for a pair in the next size down. That has never happened to me before. The business of returning the first pair was super easy. The shoes are really comfortable, fit correctly width wise and look nice. The arch support is a little soft so I will probably find myself using orthotics with these most of the time, but there is enough room for that to work. Good shoes. I'll buy them again when these wear out.

Comfortable walk - This shoe does not set the fashion world on fire, but it is the best feeling shoe right out of the box I ever owned. I wear a 13EEEEE.

Continued satisfaction with both NB and Zappos - I am a long time runner and have worn NB running shoes for decades. NB consistently excels at fit, quality and comfort. I bought this shoe for work where I walk and stand for hours on concrete floors. It is as good or better than any other shoe I have worn for work. (NB makes most of their shoes outside the US, but they are part of a handful of shoe manufacturers still hanging tough and making some here in the US.) Zappos' service exceeds, by far, anything else I have seen on the net.

Excellent - My husband chose this shoe for our trip to Europe. He was so happy with his decision. This shoe is an excellent walking shoe. We recommend it to everybody that is looking for quality and comfort.

Wonderfully comfortable, girls hate 'em - If you're looking for a 'form follows function' design you've found the right shoe. I switched to this shoe from the Cole Haan Venetian to wear in our Silicon Valley office and in airports. In all sincerity my feet haven't hurt once since. In regards to styling I like the look (I rock them with Earnest Sewn jeans and a casual sweater) yet the girls at the office hate them. I mean really hate them - one 25-year old admin asked why I was wearing 'old man's shoes'. Ouch. But that's a minor price in comparison to how great my feet feel at night. :) Five stars and if there was a six-star rating for Zappos I'd give it to them.

What more can be said? I'm a New Balance-aholic!! I have yet to purchase any New Balance product and been dissatisfied! They're terrific. Always a perfect fit, but more importantly for me since I have "flat" feet -- terrific support and cushioning!! I ordered the shoes on a Sunday morning and had them within a few days! What more can I ask? Great work Zappos!! Thanks!!

Comfortable, lightweight - Very comfortable, roomy and lightweight. The only negative is that New Balance could have spent more money on the innersole support.

Comfort for the Computer Tech! I purchased these shoes here at Zappos for my husband a few weeks ago. He is a computer tech for a college and does a lot of walking around campus and to different offices. He needs to wear business casual clothes and so he cannot just wear sneakers. I found these online and read some reviews. It seems like a lot of men who work in the business world are happy wearing these shoes and can get away with wearing them to the office. My husband likes the look of them and the comfort. He also likes that they have breathable holes so his feet don't get hot and sweaty (I researched this). He is very happy with them so far. It seems like New Balance did a great job designing these shoes.

Best work shoe ever - The safety officer at work approved these shoes (I work in a convention center) where I walk an average of 23 miles a day. These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

This works for me! I have wide feet. New Balance shoes size 4E fit nicely. I am very pleased with these walking shoes. They look great, and, more importantly, feel great on my feet. Zappos quick delivery and service are tops.

Although I am still wearing my white 925s which I bought three years ago, I wanted a black shoe which was more dressy, less "athletic-shoe-looking", and stiffer, but with all the comfort of the 925s. The 901s more than fit the bill! I did have to add a more aggressive orthotic insert for a fasciitis problem, but from then on it's been a wonderful experience, around town, for long walking and for dressy affairs. And I cannot say enough in praise of your service and concern for your customers' needs. All in all, it's been a great experience dealing with Zappos.

Excellent and comfy - Nice fit and nice looking. I had to return the original shipment for the EE width. Easy on my feet that tend to get sore with harder dress shoes. It's very comparable to Clark's Tracker which I bought in a few times in the past. I'd buy this again.

New Balance MW901 - SZ 14 4E - I bought these shoes for a Xmas present to my husband. He couldn't get over how comfortable they were, and loves them. He remarked that the toe box was roomy (he has hammer toes) and that there were no seams to rub on his toes. Your customer service at Zappos is unbelievable. I had to return the first pair that I purchased as I didn't like the look of the shoe and it had synthetic leather. Immediately, within two days, the New Balance MW901's arrived, just in time for Christmas. Thanks again!

Very Comfortable- I am on my feet for 6 hours straight and find that these shoes give me comfort and support. Fast service from Zappos.

Shoe tongue - I like the shoe and it's good to see the extra wide toe which I had not seen on NB shoes before.It provides more comfort for wide feet and toe related problems. The tongue in the shoe appears to be a bit short--no real problem,but another 0.5 inches would be worth considering. Thanks. Carey

Best On-Your-Feet Shoe Ever! I'm a 76-year young grandpa who has worn a men's size 8 in 4E all my life. (I know, I'm aware of my duck feet.) I've found New Balance shoes of any type to be the only brand that seems dedicated to giving people a shoe that fits perfectly in size and width. I was tempted to get the less expensive NB 811, but have always stuck with leather--hence, my purchase of the NB 901. The deep toe box allows me to wear medium weight cotton socks AND a gel insole and STILL have toe wiggling room. It looks like a dress shoe from the front, but is all walking or standing comfort. The most comfortable and best supporting shoe I've ever had in my life. I couldn't recommend it more highly. As for Zappos... I returned two other shoes (different brand) before I got the NB 901. Free shipping and return shipping could not have been easier. Zappos is an unbelievable customer-satisfying shoe store. I'd gladly spend a little more to get this kind of rare customer support. Great shoe and a great store- you can't beat that. Thank you Zappos!
