Husband back to work! My husband needed a comfortable semi-dress shoe for his new job. This one was perfect. Very lightweight and accommodates his hammer toes and orthotics. Looks pretty 'dorky' in the photo and in person, but on his foot with slacks, looks OK. Comfort was our main concern, without having to wear athletic shoes, which are not appropriate in his position. We can always count on New Balance to provide a wide and deep toe box. And Zappos continues to be fantastic! You even look good on TV - a work place for the new 'me generation' workforce. Whatever's happening in your workplace, it's working beautifully! I'm proud to be your customer, even though I am old!

A valuable find - I am reviewing for my husband who had foot surgery a couple of years ago and has a dreadful time finding shoes. New Balance are about the only ones that work and they come in the 4E width!! Great shoe, comfortable and nice looking

I enjoy the shoes. They are light weight, comfortable. I use them at work, standing long periods of time. I highly recommend them.

Room in Front - The increased toe room sold me, and I was not disappointed. These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on.

A walking shoe - If you’re serious about walking, then this is about as good as it gets! True to size for ordering.

Good value - good fit! Second pair of this style I've owned - different colors. Comfortable for everyday wear around the office and to walk in.

YESSSS!!!!! COMFORT!!!!!!!!! My feet are feeling a whole lot better than they were wearing combat like boots. The arch support is very helpful to me since I have flat feet. The New Balance MW901 are also very comfortable for prolong standing and 12 hour shifts. I recommend these shoes to law enforcement officers like myself. Good comfort, fit, style, and value - The shoe was true to size and width. They feel very light and cool when wearing them. The sales information states that there is extra room in the toe box and they did seem very comfortable. They also look dressier then the typical athletic shoes. I definitely plan to buy another pair before these wear out.

Comfortable shoe - A little clunky looking due to the high toe box, but very comfortable and a good value.

Wide toe box and good shock absorption - I have broad feet and a tender ankle, so when I was looking for a shoe to accommodate my active vacation in Europe I needed one that would allow me to walk vigorously on variously paved, cobbled and unpaved surfaces -- not as a hiking boot, but for day hikes with light (<20 lbs.) packs. And a shoe that would allow me to enter museums and slightly citified places. This shoe is great for that. Its appearance is unobtrusive and inelegant, but its function is superb. Good support, good shock absorption, and excellent toe comfort.

Beginning walker - My husband started walking each morning with some men in the neighborhood. He would never try on a pair of white or regular athletic shoes, so he was walking in hard soled shoes. He said that his upper back and neck hurt after walking a few days. I got on Zappos and found 3 pairs of brown walking shoes. He picked the one that he liked the looks of and they came the next day. He put them on and said they "rolled". His foot felt different. He wore them for his daytime shoes on a vacation trip and said they felt fine! And they do not look like athletic shoes as they are brown.

Heel spur patient - I'm currently under going therapy for a heel spur. If anyone has had one of these they now it is a very painful thing to go through. I have been through 5 pairs of shoes over the last year trying to get some relief from the pain; these shoes have been the best I have found yet. It has a great arch support and provides a great cushion for my heels. Wonderful shoe.

Excellent Product - I live in Florida and ordered this for my 83 year old father in Upstate New York. He has terrible trouble getting shoes to fit. I ordered these and they were delivered very fast and they fit perfect. He is so pleased with every aspect.

New Balance MW901 is Great - This shoe fits well and has plenty of toe room. I was going to buy a second pair in white, but apparently this particular shoe doesn't come in white.

Good walking shoes - I have now worn the NB shoes for a 10 day trip of city walking and museum visiting in Europe. They kept my feet comfortable and from tiring from long hours of consecutively being on my feet. Just what I wanted them to do. The only limitation is that they are little more bulky and heavy than would be the ideal shoes for urban walking. However, they are better than anything else I have found and fit well.

Good work shoe - As an RN, I am on my feet most of the day. This is my second pair, and they work well for me. I need a 4eee width, and the width is great.

Comfort and wiggle room! Got this shoe for my 15-year-old son, whose feet are size 14 and a little on the wide side. The medium width of this shoe gave him plenty of wiggle room in the toe box and plenty of height in the instep. He wears them every day to his Catholic school and finds them supportive and comfortable.

Terrific walking/casual shoe - Nice fit. Looks good.

New Balance MW901 - My husband suffers from Gout. It's very difficult to find shoes for him, but this shoe does NOT rub on his Gouty toe. It's also available in wider sizes which helps as well. We are thrilled to have found Zappos web site, easy to use and fast shipping. Thank you!

Great Shoe for Toe Room - I bought the taupe and they look great. The size is exactly what I need. The best part is the extra room in the toebox which saves my feet from scraping and rubbing that I sometimes get in other shoes. I intend to buy another pair in either black or white. The taupe is a suede finish and so will take up dirt more that a shine finish.

Service ice and quality – Shoes are what I had hoped for as comfort and quality. Your service is outstanding! Could not ask for any better service. We returned one pair of shoes without any problem. Best "dress" walking shoe ever - I use this shoe (in both brown and black colors) for lunch-timing walking at work. Therefore, I need a shoe that is at least somewhat dressy-looking. It is also a very comfortable, well-fitting shoe, and relatively light in weight. Excellent shoe - highly recommended.

New Balance 901 Shoes - Satisfied my requirement by providing a good walking shoe that looked more like a traditional shoe than an athletic shoe. New Balance has provided me with very good value of the years. This shoe is no exception.

Barking dogs - After years of trying to fit my feet to available sized shoes, I found several brands that fit my Jethro feet (15.5 4e). Eccos, Finn Comfort, New Balance, and Brooks all enjoy a spot in my closet. The new fave is the NB MW901. It is not my best looking shoe, but it has to be the most supportive and most comfortable. And at less than half the price of my former top dogs (Finn Comforts), I will buy another pair.
