All-around great shoe! Typical New Balance comfort right out of the box. I'm on my feet most of the day--both on concrete and rough dirt--and these didn't require any break in. I have foot problems and it's difficult to find a shoe that feels confortable, but these fit the bill! My last pair of N.B. walkers lasted through 7 years of constant wearing before the soles gave it up.

The shoes fit very well. The width was a little wider than I expected. The shoe was very comfortable and provided wonderful cushioning for my sore feet. Love the shoe and WILL buy them or similar style from New Balance in the future. Love New Balance because they provide a Large Variety of Widths and Sizes with a Variety of Great Looking shoes! Thank You, New Balance!??????

"Dress" diabetic shoe - Shoe looks acceptable with dark suits, usually worn at funerals. (We live in a retirement village). They are as comfortable as the bone-colored ones I have and are a very great improvement in wearing comfort to very expensive dress-shoes, even though those are extra wide. The high toe-box makes the difference for this 81 year old. If you are a diabetic, I recommend this shoe very highly.

I got rid of pains in the knees and the lower end of my back as soon as I bought my first New Balance shoes three years ago and I have bought nothing else since. Unfortunately, this model is the only "dressy" NB model available. I wish there were more. Zappos had my shoes at my home one day after ordering! Great service!

Feels great! Looks ok. After much searching, I have found a walking shoe that has the comfort of my New Balance athletic shoes. I have calcium deposits on the second joint of each large toe and this condition severely limits my choice for shoes. These shoes look a little clumsy, but the comfort far outweighs that fact. Thanks New Balance!

Comfortable shoes - These shoes give great support and are very comfortable. They may not be the best looking shoe around, but your feet will sure appreciate them if you are on your feet a lot.

New Balance - Shoe is what’s advertised. I usually buy this brand because of its consistency and reliability.

A Surprising Shoe - This shoe has been a pleasant surprise. I wear a 10.5 4E so New Balance is a natural choice for me to consider. I wanted/needed a casual shoe but nice enough for work in an office environment. Comfort is important. I've been wearing these shoes for more than a month now and have to say they've grown on me. I like them better now than when I first bought them. They aren't cushy comfort like my Nike Monarch III tennis shoes, but they are comfortable even after 10 hours a day in the office. Recommended, especially for those of us with "duck feet".

Working...on my feet most of the time - Work 24 hr shifts- on my feet much of that time. Shoes fit well, size is good, and great support! Just bought a second pair- so can leave first ones at workplace, and still have one at home for use. Zappos service is great- thank you!

New Balance MW901 - 1st order, super service. Slow to break in, but now they feel great. They do look a little clunky, but they are great for my use. Casual dress shoe every day. I would certainly buy them again, and I have no hesitation buy from Zappos.

I wish the other styles were available! I normally buy a 3E width, but this 4E width is just fine for me. These shoes feel great and look good. Where I work allows me to dress professionally without and these shoes have sufficient dress quality. Good shoe, decent price.

Excellent - I bought this shoe for my husband since he is on his feet eight hours a day. He loves this shoe. His feet and legs no longer hurt him. The fit is true to size and the shoe looks great with casual slacks as well as jeans. Definitely would buy this shoe again!

Great shoe for a bone spur - Have a painful bone spur I'm treating with anti-infammatories and cortizone shots. This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.

Awesome - I am not normally a shoe wearer, either work boots or sneakers. My feet started hurting and my doctor recommended these shoes. What a great investment. They are light, comfortable, good-looking, and do what is promised. When it comes time to buy another pair of shoes, these will be the shoes for me.

Heaven Underfoot!!! These are the most perfect fitting shoes I have ever purchased. I had to go a half size smaller and increase the width, but they are just phenomenal. Zappos is fantastic to deal with and unbelievably fast. Buy with extreme confidence!!!

Good buy - I was real pleased with these shoes, although they are not great looking especially when they are 17 in size. I did not buy for the looks, I needed comfort, and I got it. These shoes are what my feet needed and Zappos delivered.

Nice shoe - As a woman with big feet and lots of pain from injuries, it has been almost impossible to find a comfortable shoe. I saw this shoe and purchased it in black and brown. I thought it was a little ugly, but if the comfort was as good as the reviews say I was willing to give it a try. Well, the reviews are right. I have been through so many pairs of shoes only to wear them for a few months and then they hurt my feet so bad, I would have to buy a new pair of shoes. That was not the case with these, they just get more comfortable. Not only that, but, I have had so many women comment on my shoes, telling me they look comfortable or they look nice. I am very impressed with this shoe. Now the only problem is finding them. They only had a couple pairs in stock in my size when I purchased them and now they are sold out. That seems to be the case everywhere.

Sweet and comfy - I stand on my feet for up to ten hours feeding the masses everyday. These shoes help me tremendously. My back is thanking me.

10 stars for Zappos Service, 5 stars for the shoes - WONDERFUL SERVICE, GREAT CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND GREAT PRODUCTS TOO. My son's size has been a problem since he out grew his size 15's at the age of 13. With Zappos size is never a problem and you can't beat their prices BUT CUSTOMER RELATIONS IS THE BOMB!

Comfort I've missed for many years - The roomy toe area and narrow heel are an unbeatable combination for comfort. I needed a less flexible toe construction rather than the flexible toe area of the typical running shoe to prevent injury to one of my toes. This shoe meets this criteria. The shoe is good looking and runs true to size.

Very Pleased - These shoes are a life saver for someone on his feet on concrete floor 5-6 hours a day. The exceptionally great feature is that they are available in extra wide widths.

Comfortable shoe - My husband always has some little spot that starts to bother with shoes, but not this one.

Eccentric - Once you become used to the abrupt edge of the arch support the shoes become addicting. Adds considerably to walking speed. High quality. The clunky appearance reminds me of baby's first walkers. So anti cool they are cool. Zappos is a good store.

Don't judge a book by its cover - This shoe feels extremely secure- the sole provides an excellent interface between the foot and pavement. The sole's surface has many individual rubbery nipples which grip the pavement. The toebox is very accommodating. The shoe is not heavy. It required no breaking in period. It looks like the footwear of a 19th century parson, but who cares? My feet are happy. I bought 2 more pairs after wearing the first pair for several months.
