The soles were too flexible for me (I need more support), but if that weren't an issue, they would've been very comfortable. Zappos is a terrific way to shop though with no charge for shipping and great customer service. I tried Ugg Coquettes too and they were too big and wide(I fell a couple of times). Finally ended up with a pair from Footsmart which fit fine.

Hard & Flat to walk in, but the coziest upper ever... Actually painful to walk in. Totally flat sole with no support is to be expected in splippers. But the hard surface is just awful. I don't even like to wear these out to get the mail. After a year of trying to get used to them, I'm ready to give them away in still perfect condition. The sheepskin lining is aMAZing though. The softest I have ever experienced. So, the top of my feet are happy while the bottoms are throbbing. Sizing is on the short side, so if you get an 8/9 it's closer to an 8.

I usually wear a 7-7.5. I ordered a pair of these in 6.5-7.5. Felt great until the fleece compressed with wear (about 2 weeks in) then they were too big. So I ordered the 5.5-6.5 size, they feel ok now the fleece has compressed, a little short in the toe but I can live with that. HOWEVER, what I'm upset about is that the fleece in the left foot around the ball of my foot has worn away - showing the sheepskin underneath - the right slipper is also starting to wear out around the ball of my foot. Yes, these are half of the price of Uggs, but that doesn't mean they should only last for half the amount of time. $59.95 is still a fair amount of money to spend on slippers and I'd like mine to last more than a month! Buyer beware!

Having trusted all the reviews, I got those hopeful they would be a super fit right out of the box. NOT! I wear an 11W, and I ordered these in 11-12W - and, they are too short! I read that you could expect them to stretch after a few days so you can wear socks with them. I'm not going to have that opportunity. Barefoot inside of them, it feels quite slippery. I'm 61, and so if you are elderly, you will not like this slipper. I'm going to give them to my daughter for Christmas, and see if she likes them before I return them.

Old Friend's quality has gone way down. This is my 3rd pair of these exact slippers and this one is not even close in quality as the others. The description says "real lamb or sheep fur" and I doubt that. All of it seems synthetic. The size is so incredibly off as well. I had to exchange 2 pairs until I finally got one that fit. I'm normally a 9 and had to get a 2 XL (size 11-12)!! They're warm and comfortable but this will be my last pair of old friends.

I've owned multiple pairs of these scuffs in years past. Last year I ordered a pair that didn't seem quite right but I thought I perhaps it was just that pair. I just ordered another and I can't keep them on my feet. (Large 8-9 and I normally wear 8.5.) In addition, they are just not as cushioned as what I remember. I plan to look for an alternative.

I have bought these for years. Last year and this year there is a big change in the quality. I won't order them again - sadly because I loved them before the quality went down. I am wearing the ones I bought 3 years ago because the ones I got last year didn't last.

Ordered both my normal size, and a size larger as reviews suggested. My regular size (8.5-9)which is a "L" in this slipper saw my heel reaching the back edge of the slipper, even with my toes squished all the way to the front. The size up (XL) was WAY too big with about an inch showing at the heel; not only that, the two slippers fit entirely different on my right foot than my left. That indicates to me there is a quality control issue. Which is a shame, because I really wanted these to work. This is the type shoe where you need to try on several in the same size to see which pair works best. Unfortunately, that just isn't feasible when ordering online as opposed to being in a store. I'm very disappointed. Both were returned.

Way too big. I even got them wet to see if they would shrink. Got this size because from the reviews I thought they ran small. Not so. I should have returned them.

I ordered these for my girlfriend who wears a size 9, she said the XL fit great. She loved the feel - very warm and soft. Unfortunately, the soles of both slippers began to separate from the uppers after only 5 months of regular wear. So the quality is terrible. Thankfully Zappos has a replacement pair on the way, I cannot say enough good things about this site and the customer service!

Runs large. Inside fleece flattens out quickly and shoe slides off when walking. No arch support. Medium is a bit wide.

These were wonderfully soft and warm, but the length was wrong for me. I have size 6 feet, but my heels hung off the back!!

Wore out quickly. Loved these when I first got them. Inside started shedding quickly. After 6 mos of wearing weekends only the lining has worn down to the base in the heel. Very disappointing. Other returns noted to spring for the Uggs. The Uggs I have in my primary residence are in great shape with the same amount of use.

It would have been an excellent slipper to have, but the shoe ran two sizes too small.

While these slippers are very warm, they are very loose and very heavy. In fact, they're almost dangerous to wear without really thick socks because your foot slides all over and off the sides. It doesn't help that they're so darned heavy, you actually have to "scuff" along because uncomfortable to scrunch up your toes to try & keep on (doesn't always work - I've tripped over my loose slippers oodles of times) in addition to the weight of them when walking. Their quality is great - if only they weren't so loose!

This slipper is pretty disappointing. At first it was ideal, but the inside sole began to degrade within about 3 weeks. The description said the insole was removable for cleaning, but it could not be removed. So I have a pretty slipper, but it's kind of shabby inside.

Too big and loose - I bought these to replace my Ugg slippers. I got a size large because the reviews said they ran small. The length is fine and my foot would hang over the back if they were smaller. But they are too wide and loose (and I have wide feet), especially if you wear them without socks like I like to. My foot slides around inside and it is hard to keep them on my feet going downstairs. The fleece is nice but the fit is not at all like Uggs.

Much Too Small - I was so exited when I received these for a B-day gift. However, they are a full size too small. They said 9.5-10.5. I wear a 10, my heel was hanging out/off the back about an inch!

They do not hold up - My daughter loved her Scuffs and wore them about 3 times a week until about 1 month after she received them. She told me that where the balls of her feet are in the Scuffs, they are worn through to the sole of the shoe. That is a big disappointment, she loved having them and thought they were the best ever until this happened. I agree that for the price, they should last longer than a month!

Big Disappointment! Way too big; although I wear a 5 1/2 medium, the slippers feel like a 6 1/2 wide! Have to be very careful walking in them so that I don't trip (which I have already).

Cute, but go with the "bling" slipper - I have the Old Friends pink with the rhinestones; in fact I am wearing them right now! Love them! However, this style does not fit the foot in the same way; I ordered the black ones and was disappointed to find my foot kept sliding out. Will order another pair of my pink Old Friends with the sparkles when my pair wears out.

Not Satisfied - I loved the slippers when I first got them, but for only wearing them for less than 2 weeks they are allready falling apart. The sheep skin inside has falling out and they were over priced- not good quality.

old friend scuff - I bought this scuff as a replacement for ones I bought about 1 1/2 years ago, since the sheepskin under the toes wore out. I was sadly disappointed with the new slippers because the sheepskin lining has been markedly changed. Although the new lining is definitely softer, there is much less of it, so there is minimal padding for the foot. The old style fit great after the foot conformed to the thick sheepskin. Instead, this new slipper (same size) falls off the foot because it is so loose because of the lack of sheepskin lining. I will be looking for another brand in the future.

I ordered this shoe 2 times. The first time they send the wrong size. That happens. I reordered the right size and they sent the wrong COLOR, wrong STYLE and a kids size. Ughhh... Will not reorder !
