These were purchased for my husband who is unable to tie shoes well. They are fantastic and we are getting another pair. The velcro allows the shoe to be loosened if necessary. They are the exact same shoe he was wearing without the laces.

I bought these for my father's 90th birthday. He wears them every day and raves about the comfort. Recommend these highly, especially for people who have trouble with laces and need a stable walking shoe.

I have been buying these shoes for a few years for my husband. He has an unusual gait and these are the only shoes that really hold up to his abuse. The fit is great, the velcro makes it so much easier for him. They are a great shoe all around, highly recommended!

Excellent shoe. Bought for my handicapped husband, since I have to place his shoes on, these are an excellent product for me. He has always loved New Balance and that is why we chose this brand. Being diabetic, it is a good product.

Zappos provides "the best" customer service of any retail business that I know of. This shoe needed to be ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. I have had four pair of New Balance shoes in size 11-1/2 over the years, but needed to exchange these for a 12.

I have bought a couple pairs of New Balance MW811 shoes for my brother who is handicapped. He loves them; they are easy to get on, even though he wears a brace, and have such good support. With that extra support his therapy is much easier. Zappos has the best customer service I have ever seen. I have been singing the praises for this company to everyone I know. Thanks Zappos for service that is unbelievable.

These are very comfortable. They fit well. I am heavy (250 pounds) and so far they are holding up well after a six weeks. My foot doctor ordered another pair for me with special inserts that the insurance company will pay for.

I was involved in an auto accident that caused a injury to my central spinal cord. I'm very lucky to be alive, but there are many daily activities that have changed for me; one being I haven't been able to tie my shoe strings. I spent several days searching for walking shoes with a hook and loop strap allowing me some independence. I could not locate any when my neighbor suggested Zappos. I found the New Balance shoe with Zappos, ordered my size (I thought), but when they arrived I found the shoe to be too large. I called Zappos found their service excellent, sent the shoes back and they sent me overnight a size smaller that fit perfectly. I have been totally satisfied with the shoes. I am amazed I received better service from an online company compared to a local walk-in shoe store.

Best service ever! My father wears "hard to find" shoes and Zappos has always been my go to place. I can't begin to describe the level of service, but they are far beyond any place I have ever used!

Pure crisp fresh white new sneakers, looks like they were manufactured yesterday. Very comfortable and perfect for walking. Easy to get on and off with the velcro straps, no messing around with shoelaces. True to size. They're like walking on air.

Simply put, just the BEST SHOES I have ever had!! I have feet that are hard to fit and these shoes were perfect right out of the box. Not only are they a great walking shoe but they look nice enough for casual dress up. Thank you for making them available. Zappos is also THE BEST!

I bought these for my dad who has a wide foot. He has always worn New Balance for running, but as he’s gotten older, he has a harder time tying his shoes. He always wears his New Balance when we go out shopping or walking. I bought these shoes for him right before a trip. He wore them all the time and was completely happy with them from the beginning. He says they are very comfortable, fit well, and he loves how easy they are to get on and off. I highly recommend these shoes.

Both my wife and I love these shoes. They are comfortable, long lasting, and quite light weight considering the type of shoe they are. I wear 4E widths in New Balance and these are slightly larger than normal. I also appreciate getting a New Balance shoe that doesn't have a large N blazing in color on the side of the shoe. :-)

New Balance was already great--but, these are more comfortable because of the hook and loop. If you are a senior or a diabetic---you have hit pay dirt; I have these in 2 colors and I will soon buy the third!

Perfect for my 90 year old dad who needs cushioning for heel spurs and also can't bend down to tie shoes.
