Well I am disabled and have to wear AFO's and also have diabetes. These shoes are great, very comfortable, lots of room in the toes area considering my feet are slightly wide and had got them D-Medium and they fit great. Had no problems with velcro. Highly recommend this shoe!

As a stroke survivor, I needed a shoe that has velcro closure, and that can stand up to exercise. This shoe does. Also, I am impressed with the shipping speed of Zappos.

I use these for casual biking. They have a little support and no worries about laces coming undone and tangling with the pedal.

Bought these for my dad when he had hip replacement surgery. One is not allowed to bend over after this surgery, making getting shoes on and off, without help, impossible. He managed quite well with these and the aid of an extended shoe horn.

I really love these shoes. I have problem feet and my feet are difficult to fit and these fit perfectly.

I have been buying NB 577 walking shoe in 13EE for years. This time went for more expensive 811. These are much larger in both width and length than the 577 in 13EE. I can still wear them, but loose. I'd probably order 12E next time. Otherwise, shoes are very nice and comfortable.

My husband has a problem with laces - had a hard time finding a sneak with velcro. Zappos came through as usual...looking forward to buying them in black!

I have worn these shoes for years. When I find a product I like, I stick with it. Lately the stores in this area no longer stock the Hoop & Loop. They only carry strings. When I found the hook & loop through Zappos I ordered them. They fit well and if you are a New Balance fan, I'd recommend them.

Just bought a replacement pair for my husband. He wears these for exercise walking and everyday activities. New Balance quality, comfort and durability + easy off and on.

Got these for my father (87). We went thru many other shoes trying to get him comfortable. These worked!

Great walking shoes but not for snowy/icy weather. but it is not advertised as such. Great shoes in good weather. Good support and comfort. Could walk all day in them!

I am a female, age 75, with arthritic feet and ankles. Overpronation causing imbalance is a problem. I wear a brace on my right foot; have a hard time finding comfortable shoes that the brace will fit into. I have worn NB sneakers for many years, and now buy the men's NB 811, all leather, which have good support. The brace fits and they are very comfortable. I do a lot of walking. These shoes make that possible. I bought a 2nd pair recently - now have black ones and bone color ones for summer. Love them!

This is the second pair I have purchased, able to replace with custom orthodics--I need extra arch support.

My husband is a diabetic and he developed a blister on one heel from another pair of shoes. He went to a local store to purchase these shoes and was told it would take a month to get him the shoes. I always ordered from Browns New Balance. I called Zappos just to check the price. The price was great and the service and delivery was fantastic. They deliver next day. The shoes are great & Zappos is also great.

These shoes are very comfortable and I enjoy wearing them. They are sturdy fit really well. It is easy to order from Zappos and most everything was done as indicated.

This is a good all day shoe. Comfort is important to these old bones and these are good. The hook and loop feature is good for going through airport security. The lower cut style doesn't grab my ankle. In sum, a good stylish comfortable shoe.

The product was for a young man who had suffered a massive stroke. The shoe fit so well that he is now able to put his brace in it himself, and then put the shoe on. We purchased two pair (two different colors), and these are his favorite shoes. We could not have done it without the help of the people at Zappos. You are fantastic. You take the time to talk us through any problems we might have. We had to exchange one order, and this was done so easily that I could not believe it. Thank you Zappos.

Zappos is great! I wanted to order my dad a pair of his favorite shoes for his birthday, so when I called Zappos, they had my original order from a few years ago! They set me up for a delivery 2,000 miles away and he got them the very next day...on his birthday! He loved his surprise present and I love Zappos for making it happen! You rock, Zappos!
