Love this boot; it's classic and fashionable at the same time, well made, and great value for the money. Looks great with jeans, skirts, dresses, anything! It's more chic than a cowboy boot (in my mind) and according to my new friends, makes a great Harley (bike) boot!!! The boot is a bit narrow in the front, which is my only reservation. Otherwise, comfortable and wonderful heel height. Thank you to other customers suggesting to size down. And ZAPPOS is awesome; I wish I could buy everything from this place.

Frye’s Campus 14L boots come highly recommended! I just bought these boots through Zappos a couple of days ago. Naturally they arrived practically within hours of my order placement (at no charge to me) secondary to Zappos customer service. I was worried that the boots would be uncomfortable as I have a wide foot, but they actually fit quite well and resulted in no discomfort even on the first wearing. They are beautiful, hip boots with a construction that looks like it will survive the next ice age. They are a little heavy, but I figure a little resistance on the muscles is a good thing. If you have a wide foot, I would recommend purchasing your usual shoe size versus electing to go with a half size smaller. I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 and they are quite comfortable. If you dig 'em, get 'em...you won't be disappointed!

Great - I usually wear 9.5 to size 10 shoes. I ordered the 10 and I can live with it, but there is a lot of space around the toe. Tough to know without trying them on first. Otherwise, they are very comfortable, kick-around boots. The only place I got blisters is on my calves, from the top of the boot rubbing them but I'm sure that will go away soon (or I can wear high socks). The boots are incredibly easy to put on.

Great boots! These boots are great! Very comfortable and get lots of compliments whenever I wear them. Fit felt true to size. Definitely worth every penny, I wish I had bought them sooner.

Frye's Campus 14L - These boots are perfect for anyone who has trouble finding boots that fit their calves and feet. I normally wear a 10 1/2 (which you can't find anywhere) so I am always forced to buy 11's but with these boots I ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and go great with jeans or skirts.

Just like good wine, it gets better with age - Fantastic boots. I'm size 9 and fit an 8.5 perfectly well. A little too wide at the heels but overall, just fantastic and well made. I just love them with straight jeans and skirts. I am a walker and found them heavy at first but I'll die before I wear sneakers.

Waited too long for these boots! These boots are well worth the money! I should have bought them sooner; I love them. It is like wearing an old pair of slippers once they are broken in. Use plenty of mink oil to soften them up; they will last forever.

Very Pleased New Frye Owner - Very happy with these boots. They feel a little narrow to me, but having only worn them a few times, I'm confident they will continue to conform to my foot. They are beautiful, and I get compliments all the time on them. They go well with pants and skirts, and I am so happy I spent the money! Well worth it, and they will last forever.

They're so cool! They are great looking and fun. They run very big. I usually need a 10 1/2 or an 11 but I got the size 10 based on others' comments about the boot running large, and it is very roomy. The footbed is quite stiff, probably to be expected in a boot this style. Although they are quite heavy and stiff, they actually make my foot look small.

Frye Campus 14L - Great boots! Love the dark brown color; give the boots a vintage look. Looks great with jeans and a skirt. I usually wear size 6.5 but ordered a 1/2 size smaller after reading some of the reviews. Fits well with my wide feet and very comfortable. Very happy with my purchase and Zappos.

Great Boots - These boots are exactly 15 inches circumference in the calf and so it took some walking around in thick socks to stretch them out a bit...but it worked. They look great and I'm sure after I wear them a bit more they will become more comfortable. I love them and am really happy I ordered them. I bought them 1/2 smaller and they are perfect.

I finally got them... I’ve been lusting after these boots for YEARS. I originally bought the Cavalry ones because I loved how they looked online (never saw them in person), and they just weren't me. So I returned them and got the Campus in banana. I haven't taken them off since! They are gonna look real adorable with skirts and tights, but I bought them primarily to dress up my jeans so I don't have to wear sneakers anymore. I will have to get some jeans that aren't boot cut to complete the look. In the meantime, I can stuff my bootcut jeans in the boot and they don't look so bad.

Buy them now before they run out!!! These boots are great and fit well, I am always an 8, but on the advice of other Zappos boot buyers, bought a 7.5 and they fit like a dream! The color is awesome and had that broken in look immediately!!! No wonder they're such a hot item! I asked for them at xmas, but they were sold out so I bought them for myself!!!

Best boot - The Frye Campus 14L is the best boot I've ever bought. I would have paid twice the price. I get compliments on them wherever I go and I can easily wear them to work, out on the town or simply running errands. They look amazing and feel even better. I did get a 1/2 size smaller and with socks they fit perfectly.

I'm in Love - I love these boots. Thank you Zappos. I got the dark brown and they are beautiful. They are surprising, really comfortable. I'm between a 7 1/2-7, and I ordered the 7. Fit like a glove. Totally worth the investment. These boots will last forever.

Perfect - Yes, they run a half size too large and yes they rub a tiny little bit on one toe, but I would wear these boots everyday if I could do so without being ridiculed. They are very comfortable and look great. Make cute, kind of casual dresses cuter with leggings or tights. My boyfriend loves them with my skinny jeans tucked in-says it gives me the sexy cowgirl vibe (IN NYC).

Love Love this boot! I have been wanting this boot for a while now and bought it for myself for my birthday. I purchased the Chocolate color and love it! It looks worn but it's not, which I like a lot better than looking all brand new. I must have big calves because the left boot was a little tight around the calves the first day then just perfect! In fact I wore them shopping the first day and they were super comfy!! Only one little toe rubbed a tad bit by the end of the day. I followed the advice of others and got a 1/2 size down from my norm. And they fit perfect! This boot rocks with a pair of jeans and they will last forever! Worth every penny!!

Great boots - These boots took a while to break in, but once the leather softens they are great. I also put in an insole for some extra support and now they are comfortable even for long distance walking. I have them in pink and get tons of compliments.

I am loving these boots! Okay yes they are a little more expensive than I would normally wish to pay. Yet they are legendarily well-crafted and extremely comfortable (just put a band-aid on each pinkie toe when you first wear them). I work in a drug rehab and I am on my feet all day long, I usually wear Dansko’s, but these don't hurt after an 8 1/2 hour shift. Plus look at how cute they are. Compliments galore when I wear them. I finally have a pair of Frye’s, yay!

Frye Campus 14L in Banana - I love these boots. I wanted something in another color different from my same ol' black and brown boots. I was also looking for something versatile and timeless. The banana color is so unique and ultimately goes with about any color. They have a cool bohemian look to them. I felt that they actually run true to size and found them very comfortable from the first day I wore them. They soften with wear and mold to your foot and leg shape. I'm afraid that if I would have sized down, they would have felt too narrow and maybe smaller in the leg. I ordered an 8, and upon comparing them to some of my other size 8 boots, felt they were the same length. I do wear mine with socks. These boots are so well made, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll have them for many years and I feel confident that they will continue to look stylish.

Greatest Boot Ever!!! This boot is the most comfortable boot I have ever owned! I wasn't too keen on spending the money on Frye boots, but I am so happy with these Campus Frye’s! I would recommend them to anyone! I can wear them all day at work while I am on my feet and there is no discomfort at all!!!!

Oh my happy feet!!! Love these boots, the style and, most importantly, the feel. There are not many shoes or boots that I can say my wide feet feel comfortable in, but these are definitely one of the few! Thanks Frye and Zappos for great customer service!!

After 2+ years of lust, these boots are worth it! I LOVE these boots. 2 things: A patch of sharp stitching on the inside of the boot left my calf bloody & torn (and a blood smear inside the boot) but a band-aid over the stitching solved the problem. And sometimes my arches will scream at me if I've walked around in the boots for too long. But then the pain goes away - so who knows? I'm a bit afraid of the sagging and eventual cankle look, but so far so good.

Wonderful style - I ordered a half size down and they fit me a little snug, but well. I love the boot. They are so stylin' and are such great quality. They are a little stiff at first but I'm sure they will break in.

Frye Campus Boots Are a Classic - I purchased my first pair of Frye Campus boots approximately 38 years ago and wore them, with loving care, for 25 years!!! In December 2007, I purchased my second pair of Frye Campus boots and am so pleased with them. They are absolutely the most durable boots I have ever owned and find them appropriate for both warm and winter climates. Thanks, Frye!!!
