Perfection!! I just received these boots (in black) today and they fit like a DREAM. My foot slipped right in with socks on unlike my Frye Veronica Slouch boots that took some gentle coercing of my feet! Thanks to the customer reviews I went down the half size from 8.5 to 8 and I couldn't be happier. The toe is less roomy than I thought but I know the boot will mold to my feet soon enough. My calves have room to breathe without looking too loose! I love Fryes and I definitely love Zappos!!!

Cool boots! These boots are so coo! I feel cool wearing them. I would not normally spend this much on a pair of shoes but they are worth it and I am worth it. I was worried that they were too big because I did not order down a half size-just ordered my shoe size. When they came they were a little loose. I put a regular arch support in them (I wear them in everything) and that seemed better. I wore them around the house on and off for a couple of days and then finally outdoors. They fit great, perfect! I want more now. I wear them mostly with skirts but jeans too.

A FABULOUS BOOT! I just received my new Frye Campus boot and I am sooo happy with this splurge! These boots are all I expected and then some, they are extremely comfortable; however, I ordered one entire size down (on a recommendation from a representative for the line) and they are perfect with socks. Definitely order 1/2 to one whole size down. I will also be purchasing these boots in black!!! This is a fabulous boot and they are manufactured to last a lifetime!

Love them. These are the 2nd pair of Fryes that I have bought and love them even more than my first pair (the Harness boot). They fit true to size... I wear a 7.5 or an 8 and the 8 fits perfect. For those that have wide feet, they may find these boots to be a little narrow. I have narrow feet and can tell that these boots kinda run on the narrow side.

Worth the fight to get on! I have wanted Frye boots for several years now, but just didn't want to spend the money on them. I also really wanted to try them on somewhere first and then buy them... but I couldn't find them anywhere. It's a good thing, too because I wouldn't have put up the fight to get them on at a store that I did in the privacy of my home. It took me about 30 minutes of struggling to get the boots on and was no easy feat. However, since I had read the reviews, I was prepared for it to be difficult. They were a little bit tight in my calves at first, but by the end of the day, they had stretched out and were a little loose. These boots DO stretch. Once you get them on your feet, keep them on for a couple of hours and walk, walk, walk. You will see that the leather stretches and becomes looser. Putting them on the second time around is NOWHERE near as difficult as the first. There is no arch support in the boots, but it isn't a problem for me as I've just never needed it. I find the boots EXTREMELY comfortable. Beautiful color! Looks amazing with any color jeans. The color is prettier in person than online. The toe of the boot is also much daintier than I thought it would be. I was worried that it would be large and clunky, but that wasn't the case. They actually make my feet look smaller! I will be ordering a pair of dark brown in the future...

Best boot ever - I am so happy with my purchase and with the customer service team at Zappos! The boots seem to run a little big - I usually wear a 9 but purchased the 8.5 and they are perfect.

Takes a while to break in - I bought these in both black and brown. Both colors are beautiful. I still haven't broken these in yet. The boots are very stiff, but it appears that once they are broken in they will last forever. I ordered a half size smaller which fits fine. If you have wider feet I would order your true size because they are a little narrow.

Very comfortable - These boots fit nicely and I love the look. It has a casual chic feel and I like the leather sole. I bought these a half size smaller than my usual size and they're perfect. As always, Zappos customer service is great - shipping is very fast!

Love these boots! I'm very happy with this purchase. These boots run about a half size larger than most boots. I knew that though. Try them on in a store and then order from Zappos - that's what I did.

The Coolest! These boots are perfect. They look great with jeans and dresses. I agree that you should order a half size smaller than usual and if you order dark brown, the color of the leather will vary slightly from one boot to the other. It takes a few days to break them in, but they are super comfortable. I couldn't find boots like this in any store. I just know I'll have these boots forever and they'll never go out of style.

Love them! I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and I ordered these in a 7. They are perfect, I practically didn't wear another shoe the first two weeks I had them. Great addition to my wardrobe.

Super Cool Boots!! These boots are so beautiful,they are worth every dime. The dark brown color is perfectly distressed. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 depending on the shoe and 8 fits great. This boot is a classic. Cool and funky, but sexy too!!

Great boots!!! I love these boots. They are great over skinny jeans, even on the first day before they stretch. They were easy to get on and felt comfortable right away. I usually wear a 9 and ordered 8 1/2 and they were perfect. The heels are supposed to be kind of loose. Zappos is wonderful... I ordered at 7 pm and they were at my house by 5 the next day.

Love them - just need to wear them in a bit at first. Great boot that I plan on owning for many, many years. I did go down a half size like the other reviews recommended and they seem to fit just fine. The heel does slip, so it helps to wear socks that are taller. And it does take a few days to wear them in, but overall, I'm very happy with these boots.

Couldn't be happier! I'd been coveting these boots for 4 years and finally bought them. SO happy I used Zappos--I ordered a half-size smaller like people say to but my feet are so wide I needed my actual size, and Zappos made buying and returning SO easy! The boots are amazing--didn't even need a "breaking in" period. I really feel like they are worth the big bucks, and Zappos just got a new loyal customer. (Oh, and not the best arch support, but I think insoles will fix that.)

Tragically hip - These boots looked as good in person as they do on the web. The distressing of the leather is absolutely perfect. The color will be right on for many seasons, so I didn't mind the price. The boots are a little stiff, especially in the sole, but I'm hoping they loosen up as I wear them. I'd definitely buy them again.

Best boots ever! I knew I would love these boots because I bought a pair from another dealer 3 years ago in Banana color and still wear them to this day but I was ready for a different color. I saw Zappos had the dark brown and have always loved their service so I ordered them and of course got them the next day. I ordered a 1/2 (.5) size smaller than normal for these boots. Most comfortable shoes I own.

Callie in Colorado - These boots rock-they look and feel lovely. Only problem is they're tough to get on at first and the heel is a little loose. Overall the perfect boot-rustic but not hillbilly. P.S. Shipping was less than 24 hours!

New Frye Campus boots - I love my new Frye boots. My sister had a pair that I envied, so I had to get my own. I noticed hers felt a little large in size, so I went down a half size. I normally always wear a 7 and I got a 6 and 1/2 and they felt perfect. I do have a narrow foot and this helped compensate for the largeness of the boot fit. The Frye website even acknowledges that you should go down a half size from your normal and it was sooo true! Love my new kicks! Can't wait to wear them frequently this fall.

Gorgeous! These are the most amazingly beautiful boots! They are a necessary addition to any wardrobe with their classic style and comfort. I ordered them on a Thursday morning and they arrived the next afternoon! Frye runs about a half a size large, so keep that in mind when buying online.

Frye Campus Boots - Don't let the price scare you--these are the best boots you'll ever buy. Great quality, made in the USA. Definitely buy a half size smaller than normal--even Frye's website says they run a little big. And unless your calves are HUGE, they shouldn't be too tight--these are perfect for normal, muscular legs (you chicken-legged girls are probably going to think the boots are too big in the calf).

These boots are made for walkin'- I love my boots! I bought them for myself as a birthday present...what a treat. I got them a half size smaller than I usually wear and it only took one time of wearing them to break 'em in. I can wear them (I got the dark brown) with jeans, dressier pants, skirts, whatever I want. (I almost wore them to a wedding!) I don't know what folks are talking about when they say they couldn't fit them over their calves- I had no issues there. I get so many compliments on these boots. Seriously, best birthday gift ever.

Wide Feet - I really, really, really wanted these boots to fit! i have wide feet (very wide since the birth of my second child) and finding shoes that fit has suddenly become a problem. I read on the Frye website to order up if you have wide feet, which would have worked if my right foot wasn't even wider than the left. (left one fit.) Oh well. I ended up ordering my old standby (not boots) of Keens. They are definitely not as stylish as these, but they fit like a dream, with no breaking in period.
