These boots make me rethink my shoe size! I've had these boots for a bit over a month, during which time I've worn them every day. I wear them with cushy sport socks with jeans tucked in, or left out, and knee-length dresses with tights or leggings (and the sport sock); I can walk at a quick pace and keep up with my husband without getting blisters on my feet, which happens even with my most comfortable shoes. Maybe my other shoes are too tight! I love slipping in and out of these boots. Where I live, not everyone recognizes that they're Frye boots, so I wear them with secret pride! They have infused my fashion sense with a renewed funkiness. I usually wear 7.5 or 38, and I got these in black in 7.5.

Timeless style... I love these boots. I have gotten many compliments and inquiries about where I purchased them. Definitely go down at least half or one full size down. I ordered them a half size smaller because I wear thicker socks. My only complaint is that after wearing them a full day, my feet were a little sore. They are finally feeling broken in after about the 5th wear. They are much more comfortable now. The price is pretty steep but, the craftsmanship makes up for that. These boots will last a long time.

Frye Campus Boot 14L - I bought these the same size as I wear and they fit fine. I have had to go through a breaking in period because of my instep (they are hard to get on) but once on they feel great. I had a pair of Frye boots years ago and went through the same thing. The leather eventually stretches and there is no problem getting them on. You do have to wear thin socks with them.

Best boots - I love these. I too have stalked these boots for a long time, and I couldn't be happier. I went back and forth about 7.5 or 8 (I am normally a perfect 8) and I finally decided I need the length of the 8 -- I do have narrow feet, so I got an insole - perfect. I'll have them forever. Yea.

Perfect! I've been looking for the perfect boots for a long time. I wanted a pair that I could wear with a dress or with jeans. These are the perfect boots. They aren't trendy so they won't go out of style. I will be able to wear them for years to come. I wear a 6 1/2, but followed the advice of most others and the 6 is perfect. Yes, wear a thinner pair of socks to avoid smashing your pinky toe. The heel area is a little loose, but nothing major.

Love, love, love these boots. When I first got them in I wasn't sure about them so I wore them around the house a few minutes a day for about a week. I decided to keep them and packed them on a trip to Vegas. I didn't take them off almost the entire trip. They go great with almost everything... leggings, skinny jeans, under bootcut jeans, with skirts and dresses (wear boot socks). They start to look even better every day, the more I break them in. I try to bump them against everything I can, I tend to like the beaten up broken-in look. When they are brand new I feel dorky like I'm wearing bright white sneakers (maybe that’s just me).

Lots of Compliments - I purchased this boot after lots of thought, research, etc. I wanted to buy a "riding boot", but decided on a classic boot that looks like a cross between a riding boot and a cowgirl boot. I love these; they are pretty comfortable, look good with skirts as well as jeans. I tuck skinny jeans in them, as well as wear bootcut styles over them. I have skinny legs but athletic calves since I do yoga, run, etc. These boots are not too tight on my calves, they fit well. Overall, a good investment! I am very happy with Zappos for their fair price and free shipping that was upgraded to overnight for no additional charge!

Frye Campus 14L - I tried 2 different styles of Frye boots before this one. I love the look of these; they are stylish and classic at the same time. They felt about a 1/2 size larger than normal, but I also have very narrow feet. The arch support isn't great so I bought some arch supports and they have been a wonderful fit, since.

Killer Boots Man - These boots are the best! They look great with everything! If you are thinking about buying them trust me-YOU SHOULD! You will love them!

Frye capmus - I have loved the look of these boots for years and finally decided to invest in them after hearing how long they last (decades!!). These are timeless classics and they look and feel great on!! They are so versatile too!!

Love 'em! I stalked these boots for a while before I committed to them because of the price. I finally went for it and I love them as much as I had hoped. The only thing I wish I could change is how wide the top part is. I ordered a half size smaller at first, but had to send it back and get my regular size, so my advice is to stick with your standard size.

Hot boots! I normally wear an 8 and got a 7.5 in these boots and they fit really well. They take some breaking in, however. I also just barely fit the shaft on account of my man-calves, but I had them stretched at a cobbler to make a little more room.

These boots are perfect! These boots are easy to get on and off, look great, are just the right height, and they are comfortable to walk in - even for long distances. I am so glad I bought them.

Great Classic Boots!! I have been debating on getting the Campus Frye boots forever...finally did and soo happy with them! They do run a little big...I have to wear 2 pairs of socks with them but can't wait till they break in! I envision them being my favorite boots all year long! They look great with jeans under or over and skirts...I'm now thinking spring with a sundress! Well made, I own other Frye's and you don't get the same quality with other brands!

Campus Frye Boot - I bought these boots for my daughter. She is a 7.5 and I bought them in the 7.5 and they arrived the next day, go Zappos. They are a great boot. We got the "saddle" color, very traditional looking. She has been wearing them almost every day. They fit perfectly, there was no break-in period, super comfortable, and they look adorable. If you’re thinking of the Frye Campus boot, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

I bought these as a gift for my wife. She was very happy with them and loves the look and comfort.

a happy girl - ... is what i am with my Frye boots. i did add an insole, because the sole of the shoe is less than comfortable. the toe box is a little narrow, which was fine for my slender foot, and meant that there was virtually no break-in required. they look and feel fantastic, with everything!

Great Boot - After looking at this boot for weeks and reading the reviews, I ordered it and I LOVE IT! I have Frye's Engineer Boot and wear them all the time (with leggings, dresses, jeans, etc). This boot looks great with a lot of my outfits. I ordered my real size instead of going down a 1/2 a size because I have a big instep. It fits perfect! Worth the money, these boots will last forever!
