Always the best. - I've been wearing Frye's for 30 years. They have the best made footwear I've ever found. These mules are perfect with jeans or pants in the summer heat. A bit clunky if you're not use to boots, but comfortable from day one. I have wide toes and a narrow heel and my new mules needed no breaking in time. I wore them all day at work, no blisters! J.J. Awesome shoes - This shoes are better than the picture. They run large. I ordered my normal size and had to send it back for the next smaller whole size.

Frye's Belted Harness Mule - This is a quality mule with an awesome look that is perfect for jeans. My only complaint is that they are rather heavy. Also, I feel they are somewhat pricey..but in terms of quality construction (in this case) you get what you pay for.

Stylish and comfortable. Wear them every day. Great walking shoes. I feel it runs large, ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear.

Awesome Mule - I read all reviews on these shoes. And ordered myself a pair. Love these mules. Looks great with jeans. And wanted to sincerely thank Zappos for sending quickly without even asking. Zappos is the only place I buy shoes and boots. Zappos zapped them right to my house and then on my feet. Thank you so much Zappos.

Know I will love them! Although it's summer and I haven't really worn these yet, I know I will love them! They are so cute and seem to run true to size. And as always, Zappos service is SO unbelievably good and fast! Cannot beat them!!!!

Great shoes - These are very comfortable and well made shoes. They do run a half size large but I knew that and ordered a 91/2 rather than my usual size 10. These are fabulous with jeans for that casual cowboy boot look but are much easier to get on and off the feet.

Love My Mules - Love my mules. Worth the price. Very solid, heavy. True to size.

I ordered these last night and they were on my doorstep this morning!!! How do they do that! And I love these shoes. I'm not sure which I like better with jeans-these or my Frye Romy ring boots!!! In these I bought my normal shoe size and they fit perfectly.

Great shoes, fantastic service - Ordered these shoes on Wed., got them on Fri.! Fast and fab. service! These are comfortable and look sharp! I have a high instep and was doubtful these would fit, but they are the best fitting clog type shoes I've ever owned. Very roomy. Sizes very so much with different shoes so I,m hesitant to say that they run big. I also have the belted harness boots, which don't have the tapered heel. These are actually more comfortable width wise.

Chunky mule - I really like the look of this "clog". It is a heavy clog to wear though, but more comfortable than a full height boot.

Love my Harness Mules - I work in the mountains of Colorado, where it is snowy and slippery, and these mules hold their own. I felt that they ran true to size, but I noticed slight variations in fit, mostly width, so it pays to try on a few pair if you don't feel 100% comfortable.

Love these clog/boot - I love these! I knew about Frye Years and Years ago but they never had anything like this, I am a clog person and I love these. You don't walk out of them, they work well with all type of clothing. The leather worked itself within about 2 wearings, they conform to your foot like magic!! I did buy a 1/2 less 9 1/2 then I usually wear.

Looks like a boot, but less bulk. It is comfortable and stylish.

I love these shoes! These shoes look so good with bootcut jeans. Very comfortable, and very well made. I bought these after buying the Frye Harness boots, they're all I wear now! Oh, one more thing: I will probably buy most of my shoes from Zappos from now on. They are a great company!

Frye's Belted Harness Mule - These are absolutely the best shoes of their type around. The quality is impeccable especially compared with many imports costing more. I have both the black and now the chestnut brown, which is a nice rich color. I travel frequently all around the world and they go with me every time. Almost every time the airport security people ask me where I got my shoes (you do have to take them off to go through most detectors!) since they're not sold in a lot of retail outlets. I always say Zappos! The mules are a bit heavier than most so they may seem clunky on hardwood floors; however they support your feet very well and you can walk forever all day in them without discomfort. I just wish Frye would make a true higher heel version of these mules in black or brown for dressier occasions - the version they have (which I ordered and returned) is an import with nowhere near the same quality or fit.

Cool look clog - I have admired Frye boots for a long time. This was not the ordinary clog. It runs about a half size larger than my usual shoe size. It is heavier than a Dansko clog, but it looks so-o-o good with boot cut jeans. Kinda motorcycle cool with a touch of cowgirl. I like them and will probably buy the full boot next.

Just what I wanted - Somewhere along the line, I decided I needed a pair of "kick-a$$" boots and figured out that meant I wanted the heel of a cowboy boot. Nothing else gives you that sway. I'm not a boot person, though; because I have large calves. This was a perfect solution. They were just a little snug at first, but being leather, I knew they would loosen up. And they have. Love the free shipping. It was the deciding factor in where to order them from.

Love this shoe - I tried a pair of the Frye motorcycle boots, which didn't fit. I have a very high arch and I wide instep. For some weird reason, the mules fit perfectly. Very cool with long skinny jeans and vintage sweater. Broke in after a couple of wearings. Works kind of like a funky Dansko clog.

Runs long and narrow. My foot measures exactly a 6B and the 6 in these feels 1/2 size too long and 1/2 size too narrow. The 5 1/2 would fit my length but I have a feeling they might be too narrow, so it would all depend on how much they stretch out once broken in. They are a very nice-looking, well made shoe and the chestnut color is gorgeous (very rich color, bordering on maroon). But since I am short they make my feet look big and long. If it weren't for that, I'd keep the 6. I'm debating whether or not to try the 5 1/2. Since they are made of good leather I'm thinking they would stretch out enough.

These shoes are gorgeous. My husband had to talk me into keeping them, though, because they are almost like standing on a bare floor, and they're fairly heavy. They're not the most comfortable shoes, but they are made well, and they look good!

I ordered these last year, and I must say that they are VERY cool looking but not the most comfortable shoes I ever wore. They are quite heavy and stiff. As a result, I wouldn't wear them if I had a lot of walking to do. I thought they'd get softer with wear, but mine have not. However, every time I wear them I think they are very hip looking, and I get compliments on them all the time... even my kids think they are cool! If you order them, just beware that they are heavy and stiff, but very cool looking!

I just ordered these boots. I have two pairs of harness boots, campus boot, carson boot, and one other clog. You might want to order half a size down in these. They are heavy, but cool. Of course they look great with boot cut jeans..but I'm stepping out in skinny jeans. Order them. As a side note, do not waste your money on Frye Veronica Slouch. I hate to say it but they are junk. I should have listened to the reviews on that one.

As a relatively new mom, I have made the transition from suits to yoga pants and t-shirts. It's hard to feel stylish with that uniform. Fortunately, I found the Frye belted harness mule. As others have indicated, they are heavy but not so much that it's intolerable. The toe box is a little tight but I imagine it will be perfect once I break them in. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.
