This is my first pair of Mephisto sandals and I love them! I have several pairs of Naots, which I also love and keep coming back to but these, so comfortable right out of the box. My feet are slightly wide, not enough to buy wide width shoes though. I tried the Helen sandal and, like others, felt my little toe was right on the edge. Because of the strap across the toes I feel like it keeps my little toe secure. Having a strap across my instep is sometimes not comfortable but that is not the case with these sandals. I also like that both straps are adjustable and that I will be able to tighten them as the leather stretches. Even though there is no back strap they feel very secure on my foot, no slipping out of these. I have been searching, buying and returning for months so I’m thrilled to have finally found an everyday walking sandal that is comfortable and stylish.

I have been wearing this style for years and love it. Recent foot problems have left me with slim choices when it comes to footware, so since my older Hannels were successful, I bought a new pair. These Mephisto did not disappoint. My only very slight complaint is that the older ones had worn the sole smooth, while new shoes have a rather rougher sole. It is not really uncomfortable, just not as nice as when the shoes are worn for awhile. It will no doubt smooth out in time.

I have problem feet and about the only sandals I can wear for any length of time are these Mephistos. I have had a pair for many years and just replaced them. The only complaint is that over time, the sole becomes smoother and more comfortable. When these are new they can feel a bit odd.

I wore these around the house for a week and then took them on vacation in early June. I put them on second day of vacation and have barely taken them off since. They are so very comfortable, and they're supportive in places I didn't even know I needed support. I love straps and the style. I love the oiled leather. It was a long process of ordering and returning almost every comfort sandal on the market, and not that I have found the perfect sandal, I am hoping I can find the perfect clog and boot for the upcoming change of season.

I ordered these sandals and they are very comfortable the fit is true to size and width and moderate support, I want to order another pair in Navy

Fit was terrific, great craftsmenship as always with Mephisto, the Hannel in particular (have and wear two others). Much as I love the brown, this one sports a buckle way too shiny for my taste. If buckles were more pewter or darker, I would have kept them.

This is the first pair of Mephisto shoes and I like the style and comfort ,

put them on right out of the box and they fit perfectly. never disappointed in Memphisto.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I normally wear a 7 1/2, ordered a 37 in the brown unbuckle, and they fit perfectly right out of the box. I have bunions, plantar fasciitis, and a high instep and they’re so comfortable, I even wear them around the house just to protect my feet from the hard tile floors! Love them so much, I just ordered another pair in black!

I wear my Mephistos daily. The fit and comfort are perfect.

These sandals are so pretty and fit so well. The leather is soft. After I wore them a half hour around the house, they became more lose than I like. You can only tighten so much. I had also ordered a pair of the Helenesia and they are a dream with a bit softer footbed but still very firm. Back goes this beautiful grey sandal, and I am ordering another Helenesia

These sandals are one of the best. I bought these to wear as my go to sandal, but walking around in the house I realized I was not going to be able to keep them on my feet well enough for outdoor walking. So I am keeping these as house sandals. I ordered black, but decided I prefer the grey, so the black goes back in exchange for one of the Helen styles that I know will work because I have worn nothing but the Helen sandal for years which is the same footbed as this one. Zappos is the best ever!

I love these sandals. They may run a bit smaller, but for me they were perfect. I have been wearing the Helen sandal, but these are just as good if not better. They stay on my feet without any shift. Right out of the box comfortable. I have bunions and these work. The nubuck leather is my very favorite for comfort and I try to have all my shoes in this. Zappos is such a blessing, for I have returned so many.

I have a terrible time finding sandals I can wear. My feet are hypersensitive to anything rubbing - I just look at harder leather and get blisters! These are wonderfully soft Nubuck, and the adjustable straps allow my fitting them to my feet. The footbed fits like a glove and will give my high arches the support they need while treating my metatarsal tendonitis kindly. I haven't yet worn them out and about, but thus far...I'm in love!

I have worn this style sandal for years now. My foot fits well in it, both length and width. I buy size 36 which is a bit smaller than my American shoe size of 7.

Good size and fit. Not sure yet whether i'll keep them, as my physical therapist is helping me choose what might be best.

Purchased the incorrect size. When the new size came....what a difference. These are awesome! My feet hurt all the time....these being welcome relief!!

Ordered a smaller size. Sent back and ordered these. Perfect fit, so comfortable. My feet no longer hurt!

I like the Mephisto brand of shoes. They fit well and have good arch support. They also last several years before the support is worn out. This is my third pair and I will buy another pair when this one wears out.

Perfect fit for my foot. Great arch, easy slip on style. This is my second pair.

Wonderful fit. One day in the house on carpet and I was off to se the world, so to speak.

Usual comfortable fit. Not as great arch support as I need but I can wear Hannel with socks so it’s worth it.
