I have lost count of my Mephisto Hannel’s Seems nothing else is a friendly to my summer feet. In the Suede they never bite my toes, they have great cushion, and support. Took a pair to wander around Italy last summer... and although I wore my Nike for those all day on your feet tours, they were great for wine tasting, dinner, and van tour days. This pair is Navy Suede... but I would call it a mid-blue. Wish it was Navy. Still, it will work OK with my wardrobe. Every year... a fresh pair!

I had tried this same exact shoe on in black and it was very comfortable , I have high arches & a wide foot which makes makes finding shoes difficult. I tried the metallic grey/silver and the straps were very stiff ,the edges made this sandal very uncomfortable....guess thats why they were on sale.

My favorite for years. Shoes help with my neck problems.

These fit perfectly for me. I have multiple pair of Birkenstock's and wanted something with more cushion and less clunky. I have difficult feet with bunions, so anything with a strap is dicey. They are comfortable and the strap isn't bothersome. I bought the gray, and the leather has a nice finish to it, not flat. Sizing for me is the same as Birkenstock, even though it says to size up.

These shoes are super comfortable and while not "dressy" have enough nice elements that they can pass as a super-comfortable sandal for a semi-nice occasion. I wore them a lot to parties and events this summer! Love them.

Ordered the Hannel style in several colors, as well as a few other styles (Helen and Lissandra). I have stupid feet, VERY high arches, wide feet, narrow heels. My knees hurt if I don't wear supportive shoes. I tried these because Birkenstocks are ugly and uncomfortable to me. I am normally an 8W so I ordered the 39. The company recommends ordering a full size up. The grey nubuck was the absolute favorite. Most comfortable, widest fit, and goes with everything. My little toe was sore for a day or so but that was it. Arch support isn't high enough for me, but nothing ever is. However I don't seem to have knee pain yet. The nubuck however has to be protected, every drop of water stains it. I also kept the black/gold combo to have a black option for outfits, but regret it. They aren't as wide so my little toe runs into the shoe edge and the black die runs off on my feet and I can't get it off! I returned the camel/Copacabana color because it seemed they had been worn before, and the shapes on the copacabana weren't for me, too Chico's. Wish they made just camel, loved that color. I returned the black nubuck, I didn't like black footbed, and the silver buckles, I prefer gold with black, they looked too casual and not as cute as the others. I also kept the black/gold Lissandra because they are so comfortable. Returned all the Helens because they felt super stiff and I hated that piece over my toe (although that buffalo leather is beautiful!). I also thought they looked matronly.

These shoes are so cute and very comfortable. The leather on the strap he's a little bit stiff and since I needed these for traveling when I would be walking a lot I try to pair of nubocks and bought those instead. I started wearing them for long walks right away and they're very comfortable!

These felt comfortable from the moment i put them on. They stay on the foot while walking, which for me is a problem with slip on sandals.

I love these sandals! Amazing arch support! They feel like slippers. Worth every penny.

Love Mephisto brand sandals. I have 4 pairs and everyone is very comfortable. I can wear them for hours. I have tried different brands and I will always go back to Mephisto.

I already have a pair of these I bought 2 years ago and I love them! I wanted another pair in a different color so got them again. The cork soles are comfortable but get better and better as you wear them. I am looking forward to wearing my new sandals!

The suggestion was to get a bigger size, but the size I got was my true size. I ordered the bigger size and had to send back. I really like the feel and arch support.

These are my favorite shoes. In actuality they are pretty much the only shoes I can wear. I have some foot problems and these shoes are perfect. I have this pair as a backup to the ones I already wear. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Over the years I have had many Hannel’s. Of which there is no other, according to my picky feet. Sadly the uber soft Silver Vernis was not available this year, so I tried the Suede and Waxy. Suede won hands down, virtually no break in .... much improved over last year when I rejected it. The foot bed is phenomenal for me, just right combo of soft and supportive. Actual arch support for my high arches. This year I treated the interiors, and hopefully I can avoid the dreaded stained footbed. I purchased both the Black and the Grey Suede, realizing I need two pair, as I will wear these everyday from May to October in my Mediterranean climate. Love Zappos’ quick delivery and refund policy! Summer ready!!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! It is like they molded to my foot. Worth every penny! I wish they more styles.

Have had several pair of Mephisto's over the past few years. Comfortable and wear well. I have had several pair resoled by Mephisto, and they come back like new. This is a new style for me, love the mixed leathers, ordered 1 size up so that my foot fit in the bed of the sandal, and they are great. Excellent Zappos service, as always :).

I wear size 8 1/2 shoe normally and bought size 38. This is my second pair of these sandals and I find them to be easy to use (slip on) and better looking than most other brands of this type of shoe. They have arch support and a small ridge where your toes sort of grip as you walk. They are comfortable and are my favorite sandals.

Love these! Only discovered Mephisto sandals this year, but I’m so glad I did. Was looking for a “Birkenstock” looking sandal without being so clunky. I came across these and fell in love. I especially like them because they come in my favorite type of leather...nubuck! I typically wear a 7.5M and ordered these in a 38. They fit perfectly. My foot sits perfectly in the heel cup with no toe overhang. And did I mention how comfy they are? I now own 6 pairs and would buy mor3 if they become available. Would really love an olive green nubuck.

I love these!!! Better than the older design, more feminine and comfy.

Beautiful shoe. I’m unable to find quality sandals in a light tan or camel color. It’s so odd. These are definitely taupe. Birkenstock, Mephisto, Sas, all have grey, bone, taupe, browns.....no one has a camel color, in a 42. This is the third year I’m looking for a decent pair of sandals to go with my bagellini and light tan capris, skirts etc. Vionic has a cork color that is going to have to do. No where near as comfortable as Mephisto. Frustrating. And Cheap sandals in light tan or khaki are a dime a dozen. Too uncomfortable. Sad face.

Just bought my 4th pair. I love these sandals. Incredibly comfortable. I wear a 7 1/2 typically and buy a 38 in these. I’m very hard on my shoes. When I get these, they look great. Can dress them up a bit to go out on the weekend. But they're so comfortable, it’s hard to take them off. Next thing I know I’m doing yard work in them, getting them wet, stretching them out. (Adjustable straps help a lot, even if you’re a shoe killer like me.) Hence, the 4th pair. I would keep the beaters in the garage so the new ones stay nice, but the beaters seem to disappear with my daughter and her friends. Highly recommend these.

Very cute shoe. Unfortunately I had to return because the straps just seemed to hit my foot in the wrong place and was uncomfortable

I love this shoe. I have 2 other pair this same model I’ve worn for a few years & they are still in very good shape. Most of my many shoes are Mephisto & Naot. I wear size 9 in sandals & Mephisto size 39 fit perfectly & give my feet great support.

This is my second pair of Hannel in Silver Vernis. Absolutely the most comfortable shoe of this kind on the market. Size is a tiny bit off for me because there are no half sizes, but to get the arch right... I size up, an live with the slightly long footbed. This is the softest strap in this line. Never a single blister, and I do not *do* blisters! Foot bed is also softer than other brands. My old pair have been demoted to beach, house, and garden. The suede interior does stain over time. This pair will become my * going out* pair.

These are absolutely beautiful in the old waxy pink. The leather feels like butter. The only reason for my return is I have a bunion on my right foot where the strap rubs. I love the style of these so much, but I have to return to my Mephisto Helen. Thank-you Zappos for putting up with all of my returns.
