Sole wears too fast! I work in a hospital. I had a lot of pain from neromas. I started wearing these and the pain subsided quickly. This shoe is very comfortable and stylish but in a few weeks the springs wear through the sole. They need a cap of harder rubber on the sole.

Spira Walk - Was hoping it would really be as comfortable and a help for my feet during prolonged standing but it didn't meet expectation.

Shoe fit - This shoe is not as true a fit as New Balance. It feels a little narrower than other EE size. Good ball of foot support.

Spira Classic - THE SOLE SEEMS SOFTER THAN NORMAL AND IS WEARING FASTER THAN A HARDER SOLE. I also feel like the heel is lower and I am tilted back more than normal. I like the shoe for softness but it is not a shoe I would order again and it is way overpriced. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I would give this shoe a 4.

Whoa! These shoes are small! These shoes are not sized right! Especially the right foot. Knowing I'd want to wear these shoes with thick socks, I ordered a half size larger just to be on the safe side, but no go. The left shoe is OK, but the right shoe is squishing my toes together. Small footbed. Looks like it would be roomy, but all that space is taken up by the super thick tongue and the ultra thick soles. I wear a wide and ordered a wide. Be careful if you order these.

The toe area is way to narrow for a 11 4e. This shoe has a pointed toe area leaving no room for 5 digits.

The spring in the heel and forefoot are nice. The 4E in Spira is not comparable to a 4E in Nike or New Balance. This shoe is just too narrow and too short even in a half size larger than my Nikes and NB. I will not purchase this brand in the future.

Had to reorder a full size larger than I normally wear. Not very comfortable probably won't buy again.

Not for me! I read on the Spira website about how the shoes would wear out before the springs did, so I decided to give them a try. They felt comfortable when I 1st stood up in them, but after walking in them for no more than 5 minutes, I had pain in my hips, knees, & low back. I do have chronic back problems & wearing the wrong shoes will make it worse. I guess I will stick with the old fashioned padded soles.

Purchased a pair one year ago. Very poorly made, sole separated within 6 mos. Was told the wait until Jan when "new inventory" would arrive. Contacted in Jan and story changed to, "too bad, six months is pretty good for a pair of shoes, not our problem." Will never do business with Spira again.

I would NOT recommend these shoes. I purchased a pair from Zappos. After a few months of wear, I noticed a brownish-black stain on my sock. When I examined the shoe, I found the bottom of the insole had completely disintegrated, and a brownish powder was coming out from between the insole and sole. I contacted the company, Spira, to report the problem (first by email, then by USP mail), and didn’t even receive a reply. That is terrible customer service. I didn’t want a new pair, just an explanation or acknowledgement. I won’t waste my money on another pair, and have just ordered a pair of New Balance 626 to replace my faulty pair of Spira’s.

I bought a pair of these shoes because I have plantar fasciitis and needed something that would be very kind to my feet. I have been pleased with the shoes except the lining on my first pair wore out in 3 months and both the lining and the soles completely disintegrated after 4 months on my replacement pair. I just wear these for walking and everyday use...nothing really exceptionally rugged. The springs may be warranted to last years, but the shoes fall apart faster than any I've ever owned! I didn't buy these from Zappos. I bought them from a local shoe store, but I'm returning them tomorrow and hope to get my money back.

Not What I Hoped They Would Be. First, I bought my usual size 8.5. Too narrow for my wide foot. I returned them. I then bought a wider width, same size. It was as if the box was marked wrong. The shoe felt just as narrow and the second day I wore them the left shoe started to squeak really loud. When I pay 133.00 for a pair of shoes I don't want to hear a peep out of them. On top of that, they just were not comfortable. So I'm returning the second pair, too. Perhaps this company needs to just tweak their products and get the kinks out, but until then Spiras just are not for me. This saddens me because I had heard a lot of good about these shoes. Unfortunately, I will be shopping for another brand. But be assured Zappos customer service remains super. Just wanted to be clear on that.
