The Spira Clasic Leather shoes are great! They are very comfortable and do not hurt my feet. The only caution I would recommend is to be sure to order the next size up from what you wear...they run small.

I'm very satisfied with the order and the delivery of my order was awesome. I had my shoes the next day and I had free delivery.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband. He is notorious for being the pickiest when it comes to his sneakers, which he wears every day. They must be all white. They must not look too "fad-ish" (translation: youthful). And, above all else, they must be comfortable with his myriad of foot problems, as he stands all day. I thought it was a given that I would be returning these. That's why I bought them at Zappos.com, instead of a pricier catalog that had advertised them. I shop early for Christmas, and have had problems in the past, trying to return unused items after 30 days. Plus, Zappos had his wide width, which several other places did not. Upon opening them, he wasn't too crazy about the whole "springs inside" technology. But he gamefully wore them for an entire day. Imagine my surprise when he raved about how comfortable they are. "Feels like I have nothing on my feet." Even more important, his feet were not aching at the end of each day, as usual. They are a solid hit with him!

I love this shoe! Over the years, I have worn other brands of white leather tennis shoe types. Since finding the Spira Classic Leather I will never buy any other. The inner spring really makes a big difference! I do find that I have to order a wider size to accommodate my orthotics. If you're looking for a quality leather shoes with great support, this is the shoe for you!

Great shoes for bad feet - I have bad feet and have trouble finding the "perfect" shoe, but I have come awfully close with this one. Took them out of the box and walked five miles. My feet felt great. On the recommendation of another customer, I bought a half size larger.

Great Shoes - I purchased the Classic Black Leather for my husband. His job requires him to walk and stand on concrete for 9 hours a day. He has tried many different brands over the years, but he said this is the best shoe by far. Although he has only had the shoes for three weeks, he is talking about ordering another pair. I did order a 1/2 size larger after reading the other reviews and he is glad I did.

At Last - Because of a childhood disease that affected the bone structure of my feet, I was never able to walk more than one mile. When I would visit a theme park I had to rent a wheel chair, but that's all changed now. I wish someone had invented this shoe fifty years ago.

Spira Men's Leather - I ordered another pair and style of Spira Men's tennis shoes for my husband in his regular size 10 M and they were a little too narrow and a little too short. I went up a half size to 10.5 and they were still a little narrow, so we decided to go with the black leather (they were currently out of white) in the wide width and that did the trick! He has had two knee surgeries and we thought the springs would help when we do lots of walking. So far so good. He has started wearing them to the office some days he likes them so much. Being black they almost pass for dress shoes :) I think we're going to put our name on the list to be notified when they come in stock in his size in the white.

Spira's Classic Leather A Winner - I'm on my feet for 8 hrs/day at the airport, so these shoes are just outstanding. They do run narrow, however. I normally wear a W on my regular shoes, but had to order a 2E. Arch support and wear is great.

Spira classic leather - I would recommend this shoe to anyone, the quality is top of the line, the comfort is truly amazing, I stand on my feet all day, wearing Spira I can do this in comfort. I hope this shoe is available for a very long time. Thank you Zappos for carrying Spira and for making my life easier.

Spira walking Shoes - Great, comfortable shoe. Although I found the left shoe has a feel at the bottom of the springs in the forefront.

Spira Walking Shoes - These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned! The quality of the shoes and the service from Zappos was outstanding.

Glad people said it fit smaller - I am thankful for those who said the fit was small as they were right. Although I had to go a half size larger I will say the shoe did not look that large. It will make you taller though!! As a woman over six foot I wasn't looking for the very high sole that made me taller but the comfort is worth it.

COULDN'T DO WITHOUT THEM - The Spria Classic Leather shoes are everything they claim to be. I suffer with spinal stenosis and have bad knees. The Spira shoes with the built in springs has improved my ability to get around. I have dress shoes and tennis shoes all Spira Brand and purchased the Classic Leather about a month ago. I can't live without them. They take the pressure off my spine and knees and now I get around without pain. I can't say enough good things about them.

These shoes are horrible kitchen shoes - Great shoes for the first few weeks, then they become a horrible kitchen shoe. The little slip resistant treads that make the shoe slip proof wear off quickly making it a pair of ice skates, even on kitchen floors in a restaurant that doesn't use fryers. I've now fell twice in the last month due to poor traction in the kitchen. Plus, when the tread wears off your shoes constantly squeak as you walk. The comfort level is superior to any shoe I've ever worn in this environment, but do not try to market this as a quality kitchen shoe.

Not for me - On the recommendation of other reviews I ordered a half size larger than my regular size. It still didn't fit well. Some people may like the extra spring in the heel. For me I found this only detracted from the already minimal support for my over pronation. This shoe has given me low back pain, pain in the lateral edge of my foot and my big toe. For people whose feet conform better to the shape of this shoe it may work. For me it was not good and I am going to order some Asics prematurely rather than continue to cause myself discomfort.

The shoes are a bit narrow. I wear EE and they are tight in the toe end. I have worn them too much t return them. Interesting foot placement while walking. I like them very much for walking. My only issue is the narrow end of the shoe. I have worn New Balance for years. I wanted to try these shoes. I will go back to New Balance.

These shoes would be a lot better with rocker bottoms. After they're broken in, I like the feel, support, & comfort. Bought my 1st pair in 2011, still wearing them, & it was cheaper to resole than replace them. Yes, the laces are a bit long, which is why I replaced mine with paracord.

Update on the "squeak." Zappos is sending me a new pair and I will return the current ones...no need to leave hubby "shoeless." Excellent service! Can confirm the shoelaces are ridiculously long...who knows why?
