Lightweight and Supportive with a Trail Shoe Look - This is a great shoe. It's rare to find a lightweight shoe with a lot of support, that also has the outdoorsy look of a trail shoe. I find this shoe to be very comfortable and I love the quick laces.

Love, Love, LOVE them! I have a problem with motion control and stability and these shoes have really helped!! They are so comfortable and I felt they were true to size! They are airy enough to give my feet breathing room! which around here, I need! And the no shoe strings method really works for me! Thanks Salomon for a wonderful product! I will be purchasing them again!

Great trail shoe - I bought these shoes for trailing running. 2.5 hours on the trail, and they felt great. The roomy toe box and lacing system keep your toes from crashing on the downhill. Highly recommended. Zappos was great, as always!

I love, love, LOVE this shoe! From the moment I put them on, I literally have not taken them off. They are so comfortable and really conform to feet (I have fairly narrow feet and very little arch). The insert is soooo unbelievably springy and I love the mesh fabric which will be great in the summer heat (not so much during cold Chicago winters, but these shoes are so comfy I've been wearing them in spite of the cold!). I can see that the lacing system might not work for everyone, but who can compete with Zappos return policy. These shoes are definitely worth trying!

The best shoes I've ever had - I have flat feet and have always had a problem finding shoes that looked good, were comfortable and also gave the support I need. I finally found the perfect shoe.

Loved This Shoe - I have problem feet and need to wear orthotics. This is the first running shoe I have ever tried that fit so comfortably immediately. Also loved the quick lacing, it makes adjustments quick and simple.

Salomon XA Pro 3D - I have Achilles tendonitis which flares up after walking in about any shoe EXCEPT this one. Excellent support and traction, love the light weight and quick fit lacing. I want one in every color.

Love this shoe!!! Very pleased with my purchase. I mainly wanted a shoe for hiking trails with terrain changes, and also to run on trails. Very comfortable. I wear a size 7, but purchased this in a 6.5 and still added an arch/heel support under the one it came with. My foot tends on the narrow side. This should/would accommodate a wide foot, as well, it would seem. They are mesh, so my feet stay cool. AND they look GREAT! Like the pull-string laces. They stay tight. Nice lightweight shoe.

This shoe has great support. Conforms to the shape of your foot and feels like it was custom made.

Great tennis shoes. I bought them for jogging. No breaking-in needed on these.

The Adventurer - This is my second pair of Salomon shoes. I wouldn't change them for anything. Really comfortable and stable for off road running. Use them for training and they give me great support.

Cool looking trail shoe - I am transitioning more to trail running & decided to try this one, after MUCH research. I am trying other shoes, too. Salomon has a great reputation, & I can see why. While I typically wear a basic insert in all of my road running shoes (though I am not a large person, the more cushion, the better for me), I found I could not do that with these shoes. The factory insert is already of good quality, so I took out my insert after my first run in these (8-mi trail) resulted in a blister on one of my arches from rubbing. The stability & ankle support on these are sound, & I get many compliments on their look. I would definitely recommend these.

Best running shoe I've bought! I run around 35 miles a week on trails and roads; this is the first time I've bought Salomon and I love it. The sole of the shoe is less cushioned than I'm accustomed to but it doesn't seem to negatively effect my stride or make my feet sore after a long run. The mesh upper keeps my feeling cool but it's not a great shoe for colder temperatures or running in snowy or wet conditions. The lacing system does loosen during longer runs but not to the point that it's a major problem. I'm an over pronator and this shoe seems to correct my foot strike; I feel less discomfort after long runs. I really like this shoe and will look for more Salomon products in the future.

Love'em!!!! They are great, comfortable shoes, even though they feel 1/2 size larger than their tag size it is a good thing if you run or walk long distances. I like the the vent system in this shoe, they don't make your feet boil while running. Great for running, walking and even jumping. Bouncy, light, fast. Love'em!

There are no shipping charges for returns which is a wonderful plus. I love these shoes. I was in an auto accident three years ago, at which time I broke both my femurs. Since that time, I have had a lot of pain walking and have had a terrible time finding a supportive shoe that fits. Despite my injuries I still walk about 4 miles every day. These shoes provide support, comfort, and still look great after taking a beating on the trail. They run a little long and wide, but the pull tie helps to keep them secure. Actually, they are probably true to fit, but when compared to a New Balance, which runs a half-size small they seem a little big. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who is looking for a great looking all around trail shoe, everyday winter shoe, and support shoe. I also recommend Zappos! When I ordered the Salomons I also ordered an Asics and New Balance. Salomons was by far the better shoe - better made and better fit! The other two seemed shotty in comparison. I sent them back without problem and Zappos credited my account within a couple of days.

I think they are a nice shoe but they are not for me. I think they are overall true to width but I do also believe they could have made the toe box a little roomier and not so stiff. I've worn them for just over a week for my job and I can't wait to get in door and get them off my feet. I really wanted to like them more than I did.

I loved the support, but unfortunately the tongue was long and chaffed my ankle causing my skin to blister. Sadly, I must send them back.

A little long and narrow with decent arch support but not cushy arch support I would have expected and wanted for the price. Hate the laces

Very nice shoe, I have another pair of Salomon shoes different style, love them, so I ordered these in the same size but they are too short, having to return them and going to try them in a size 9 1/2
