Excellent fit, support and comfort. I can use my insoles in them easily. They are light and have good grip.

I love these shoes! They fit perfectly and have wonderful support. I was a little surprised by the color. I thought it would be a bit more muted but I have grown to love the color. I would buy these again.

I use these for trail runs and road runs and they perform great for both. I was looking for good arch support and these have it. Also great cushioning for a neutral stride. Very good grip for steep or rocky terrain. I have retired my hiking boots and wear these instead, so much more comfortable. Moderately water resistant but dry very quickly. True to size.

These shoes are great trail & urban running shoe, as well as hiking& everyday comfort/walking shoes. Noticed brand is sized a little different than other shoes. I typically where 6.5 but need a size 6 in this brand--so make sure to order ½ size smaller than your typical running/hiking shoe. Recently got another pair for a road trip that included mountains, desert, and beaches and wore these the whole time (only took these shoes and a pair of dressy booties for a 3 week road trip!). My older pair are still great too (5 years old) and use them just as much but as always running shoes will lose their inner support with time but still use them for all other activities beside long runs. Used to always wear The North Face trail running shoes but these are great too and little less heavier....typically choose one brand or the other based on style and color available!

Way too big in the toe box and a bit too deep - rubs on my ankle bones.

This is my 5th pair of Salomon XA PRO shoes (Size 9) that I bought. Everytime I wan to go with other brands I keep coming back to these. These shoes are ready to go right out of the box, not braking in is needed. I like the fact that they are little stiff for those rocky trails. They are little roomy in the toe box, but I replace the sole with orthodics high arch soles and they fit great. Great shoes all around, great quality, great fit!

BUY THESE! -- When a pair of Adidas Outdoor shoes I had ordered turned out not be the ones for me, I picked the Solomon XA Pro 3D totally on the fly as I was getting ready to go on vacation. The construction and quality of this Salomon surpasses the more expensive brand of shoe I was returning. The best compliment I can give a shoe is to say that I forgot they were on my feet -- and that's what happened here. Comfortable right out of the box and felt almost custom made. During a weekend in the Northwoods trekking around, precisely NONE of that time was wasted fretting about my aching feet or nasty blisters. **The real reason I'm reviewing these?? Zappos' incredible service! Remember I said I was heading out of town? Well I was leaving the very next day, and my intent had been to take those Adidas on my trip. It was a huge bummer when they didn't fit! The customer service rep who assisted me with the return made it so simple, but was straight up about telling me it would be at least two days before my replacement arrived. THEY CAME THE VERY NEXT DAY AND I HAD THEM FOR MY TRIP!! BOOM! Zappos earns my business every time. :)

These sneakers are great! I don't run or anything so I can't speak to that, but I have Salomon hiking boots that I absolutely love. That is the reason I got these. And yet again I am thrilled with my purchase. Nice and light, comfortable with good ventilation. Love the no laces which initially I wasn't sure I was going to like. Zappos delivered them quickly for the win!

These are well made shoes. They have a very high, firm arch. If that is what you need these will be great. Personally, I need something more flexible and softer.

The toebox in these shoes is a little big, but overall, these sneakers are great. The arch support is amazing and they are very light. Great for running and walking. I highly recommend these sneakers!

I love the Salomon shoes. I've been wearing them for a few years now. I have thin, narrow feet and I love the way these lace- I can get them tight on my feet. They are a sturdy shoe. I run 20 miles a week in them. The only issues are the laces sometimes do break and I take them to a local outdoors outfitter for a repair and they are a bit stiff when new- need to break them in. Otherwise I love them. Moderate arch support. I always add my own orthotics to a shoe.

These are my new favorite shoes! They are so comfortable. They have great arch support for my high arches. I usually wear size 6½ but based on other reviews, I went with a size 6 and am glad that I sized down.

Love this sneaker. Overall, fit is snug without pinching anywhere. Toe is roomy without being sloppy. Regularly wear a 9.5 shoe but needed to downsize to 9 for this pair. Also inserted an inner sole for high arch support. Went straight from box to seven mile run with no problem.

As with the first pair of women specific shoes I bought by Salomon, the shoe fits like it should. From the first try! Happy again.

Awesome trail shoes! I bought these shoes for moderate hiking as I was finding my running shoes were slipping on some of the uphill, gravel slopes. These shoes are lightweight (great for the summer), super comfortable and have great traction. The only thing I would say is that I found them a little wide in the toe area. I considered ordering 1/2 size down but then was concerned that the length would be too short so I kept my original 7-1/2 size which is my regular size.

These are my forever shoes - I'm on my third pair and replace them annually. These shoes keep me safe on rugged mountain hikes in Mexico and comfortable on sidewalks in Manhattan. Love them for the fit, durability and tread.

I have plantar fasciitis along with high arches. Orthotics are a must or I get heel pain. I didn't think the Orthotic-Lite would be enough, but I was pleasantly surprised by the stability and the arch support. Great walking shoe!

These shoes were comfortable from the first time I put them on. Very roomy toe box and perfect for me. Very hard to find. I need the cushioning and the good arch support. Love the color!
