I absolutely love Salomon tennis shoes. I was surprised that they seem a little short. I am wearing them and they are stretching out, definitely getting better.

Great for hiking trails, love the stability of this shoe!

I just can't hike in soft, spongy running shoes anymore and was looking for something more supportive, but not as heavy as a boot. These shoes are AMAZING! I had to return the standard width and order a wide direct from Salomon, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these! The sole is flexible but firm, the sides of the shoe and arch area are very supportive, and the heel doesn't slip up and down on my narrow heel. The top of my foot over the arch is extremely high and sensitive and the medium width didn't provide enough room, but the wide fits perfectly without pain. SIZE INFO: I wear an 8.5 in street shoes, 9 in running shoes, and the 9.5 in these shoes for a bit of extra toe room for the downhills. Salomon only makes it in wide as unisex and recommended 8.5, but they were too large, so I returned them for an 8. If you have any questions at all, I was very pleased to find Salomon's phone reps as good as Zappos! ZAPPOS -- Seriously love you, but WHY DON'T YOU CARRY MORE WIDE WIDTHS??

I love these shoes. They do have a roomy tor box which I prefer.

After having searched for comfortable hiking shoes to replace my Asolo's, I found the perfect solution in these Salomon's. They were comfortable right out of the box and have nice support. They have a smaller profile compared to some hiking shoes, which I like. And thanks for the excellent service, Zappos!

Very roomy toe box, great fit, very solid shoe. The only reason I'm returning it is the place that the lace hooks on the toe area hits a bone in my foot :(

I ordered 1/2 size down from other shoes and it fit great.

Love these. I put them on and wore them fresh out of the box for the entire day. They are lightweight, supportive and not hot. Good if you have plantar f.

Love these shoes! Perfect fit, comfortable right out of the box. Very nice upgrades to insole, footbed and lacing. Well made, nice design! Couldn't be happier!!!

I am a definite 7.5 I went down to 7...otherwise great fit...I wanted a black color to go with travel clothes. I got them for a 10 day walking France trip...perfect! Go down 1/2 size you won't regret...happy feet!!

Pleeeease....don’t ever change or discontinue this style! These are it! On my 4 th pair perfect no break in requireed! I do add my own additional arch supports and right out the box, spent a week hiking Olympic Nat Park, no pro s. Of course sock important too!

i always put my own inserts ( ARCH support ) into shoes that are neutral this salomon fits me perfect.... i have several .. hiking and running etc ..... love them and they always look great ... this pair is going hiking in Banff !!! yay

I purchased a pair about 5 years ago and have never been disappointed. Through the years the difficultly with my feet have increased, from plantar fasciotomy, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, degenerative bone disease...SO ordering another pair of these supportive, comfortable Salomom's is a no brainer! AND as always Zappos is exceptional in their customer service and delivery! THANK you Zappos!
