Lucchese N4540 - Love these boots. I haven't worn cowboy boots in a long time, but am having fun wearing these because they have a very cool attitude. The quality & look of the leather is great. The fit & comfort are good too. I read up on how cowboy boots are supposed to fit, and these fit the "right" way. I took a chance & wore them outside for an evening the first day I got them--no carpet trial, no break-in--and was not disappointed.

The best real deal for a cowboy boot- These boots are fabulous. Just know that they run large. You might want to order 1/2 down from your normal size. Run snug in width- but will stretch to form to your foot. Arch is strong, and foot bed will conform to your foot. Heel slips a bit- but this is normal for the type of boot it is. Very stylish AND comfortable. Lots of research here- best bet for money, look, and comfort- would buy again. Zappos gets an A+ on zip ship and customer service.

Fantastic boot! I never write online reviews, but I just had to for this boot. I've been dying to get cowboy boots forever, and finally I broke down and asked for these for an early Christmas present (after doing extensive research). I LOVE these boots. Honestly, the photo does them no justice- they're far less shiny and stiff-looking in person. They're a rich medium-brown color and made of very soft, supple leather. Not only that, but they're incredibly comfortable too. They felt a bit tight when I first put them on, but after wearing them for several hours I practically forgot that I had them on. Plus, they look amazing with jeans (and very likely most other pants as well as skirts). I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a gorgeous, comfortable, authentic cowboy boot.

Favorite Boots Ever - These are the best boots ever. I usually have a hard time getting the width right, but I love these boots. They feel very comfortable and I get tons of compliments when I wear them to work.

One Great Boot- They arrived in the mail, I thought they were too narrow, sent them back....they were sent back to me due to tiny scratches on the sole (I had worn them around my bedroom, wooden floors) Company was very nice about it though. Oh well, wear them, hope they stretch to fit. Well after about one hour they fit perfectly. I wear them to the kennels and around the fields, then into town. Best looking, best feeling boot I've found, and I've tried a few dozen. Am tempted to order another pair for back-up but I think these will last a long time. I haven't even polished them yet but feel like that will make them even better looking. Always get many compliments. They look good with dresses, skirts, jeans, everything. Just a great boot.

Couldn’t be happier- This is a classic! They look and feel a cut above other boots I've tried. The detailing and workmanship are top-notch and I love the retro toe. Worth every penny.

Yippee-Ei-O!!! Gotta love this pair of boots! Soft leather and absolutely beautiful designs. The natural tan color looks great with everything! They do run a little narrow in front, but wore mine around the house a couple times with a thick pair of socks to break them in (or you could get the boots stretched at your local boot store) and they're good to go. Now they fit very comfortably with my thinner pair of socks. The only thing to consider regarding this boot is the edging near the side of the heels. The edging seams are not fully glued or molded in so the boots don't seem to have a clean finished line. For the amount paid, I expect higher standards of craftsmanship so I sent my first pair back to Zappos and they replaced them with a better pair.

Awesome boot! These boots are awesome. Make sure to get them snug because they mold to your foot. But they are absolutely beautiful!

These may be the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! My boyfriend convinced me to buy these boots. I had been wanting cowboy boots for a while, but hedged on buying them. He has a pair of Lucchese's himself and finally convinced me. They are great! Very comfortable with a padded footbed. Not as shiny or dark as they appear in the picture, as I wish they were, but should both shine and darken a little as I wear them. Very stylish, beautiful stitching and handmade quality. I bought my normal size, as recommended by others, and they fit great with a dress sock.

Great boots - These boots are so comfortable, soft, and smell great!!! They look and feel like you've had them forever. Will go with everything.

These are probably the most gorgeous boots I've ever laid my eyes or hands on. The imitation western boots you see in stores just don't make the grade. This is the real thing! I felt like Cinderella when I put them on my feet because they were a perfect fit! (I will only need to track down some genuine boot socks). They are so comfortable right out of the box!

palmtreej - This is a great boot. I've worn them so far with a few dresses this summer. Compliments each time! Instantly comfy, great worn in look and feel. I recommend them HIGHLY if you are in the market for a versatile, vintage looking boot! You may need to up a half size if a wide foot!

The hunt for the perfect cowgirl boots stops here!!! Absolutely love these boots. I had some other western boots from a trendy spot and they looked cheesy. Figured I needed to try some true western wear. These fit like a GLOVE (great arch support), great heel height and rustic look of the boot just sets it off. I do have very skinny legs and the shaft doesn't fit well at all, but I'm still going to sport them!!! For my first western boot, I think I hit the jackpot.

great boot - I've never owned a pair of western boots before, and let me tell you I love theses. I ordered them on a Wednesday and they were at my house on Thursday. I have pretty thick calves and they fit well. I live in the city and have always wanted a pair of boots. They work great with jeans and short skirts. Only problem I had was getting the right one off after a night of dancing! After tugging for a while it finally came flying off. I think I just need to get one of those boot removers, b/c I did scuff up the leather a bit in the struggle to take it off.

Lucchese's N4540 in brown - Wonderful arch support! The natural-looking, slightly battered color already seems like a patina...this boot will wear forever. Beware, those of sizing issues if your feet are narrow. I've had to put insoles and other pads in to keep my heels from sliding up with every step.

I normally wear an 8.5-9 and based on reviews bought these in an 8. They fit perfectly...like a glove. I ordered them on a Thursday afternoon and had them in my hands on Friday morning. Wahoo! I roped in great boots! These boots are too gorgeous to put in my closet. I keep next to my husband's dresser when I'm not wearing them so I can see them. They look like vintage cowboy boots with their lightly distressed leather. The first time I wore them, my friend asked me where I found the vintage boots which I'd been searching.

Oklahoma sooner boot lover - I ordered these boots because they already looked broken in, and they are the most comfortable boots ever! I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered the same. The right foots seems a little tighter than the left, but I just wear a thinner sock on that foot.
