Best of 5! I already own 4 pair of Lucchese in other colors, but these are the prettiest yet. The sherry color has a lot of depth, but it's understated enough to wear with everything. Needless to say, they feel fantastic - even better than my Dansko which is saying a lot for someone on their feet all day. This is a great investment and I will wear them for years. Thanks Zappos for your quick service.

Love my boots...and Zappos! These are my first pair of real cowboy boots and I love, love, love these boots. They're gorgeous, comfortable, go with everything, and will last forever! I did, however, have to reorder a half-size down. (Also, I thought they would be taller.) But with Zappos' easy, free, and FAST exchanges, I had my new pair the next day--talk about instant gratification.

Sherry - I have never done a review for anything before but I just couldn't help myself this time! These boots are absolutely amazing! I am the fussiest person when it comes to apparel especially shoes--it is all about the feel to me. I want to feel something organic and earthy. Better yet, I want it to smell that way too! These boots are the real deal and the first time I bought shoes that I did not have to return. I am between and 8 and 8 1/2 but based on some of the comments about the boots running a little narrow, I went with the 8 1/2--perfect! Yes, there is a slight snug feeling across the width of the feet but if they feel this great on the first day, I am sure they will be even better in time. The look is beautiful! A little spotty/patchy in some ways but very natural and to be expected for this look. Again, these boots are the real deal...I can't wait to buy another pair! By the way, I am a chiropractor, so if they pass by me, that says something!

My first pair of Luccheses...there will be no other. How could a pair of gorgeous, sexy, refined boots fit so exquisitely on the first day? No need to even wear them in, struggle and suffer from any pain. I'm in love forever. There will be no other cowboy boot I'll ever buy...ONLY LUCCHESE. Nice when some things in life are just perfect and simple! BUY A PAIR NOW.

These boots run true to size. I listened to these reviews and ordered a 1/2 size smaller since many people say they run big, but they were too small. I kept a pair in my normal size and medium width. I don't feel they are too narrow. They are very soft with incredible craftsmanship. This is a good deal because they're on sale! Yay for Lucchese and Zappos! The overnight shipping was amazing. You will not regret ordering these boots.

My first pair of cowgirl boots! I used to think of them as hicky but when I saw this pair I fell in love... For some reason my pair was Charlie 1 Horse by Lucchese Mad Dog made in Brazil, not in USA. They look exactly like Lucchese Mad Dog. All the details are there, I can't find any difference. I am a size 7 and my boots are 7, too. I can wear them with or without socks. Forget about those wanna-be fashion "cowgirl boots". Don't even take them if they were for free. Get a real pair made by the real boot makers such as Lucchese. You will not regret it and you will enjoy a great pair of boots for years to come, much like owning a Chanel classic quilted handbag.

Classy, comfy, versatile - Wear them with jeans, a flouncy skirt and tights, or casual pants . . . beautifully hand-crafted, sleek, and stylish. Perfect boot for the modern cowgirl! I bought this boot in both the tan and black. All Lucchese boots (especially this choice) are comfortable right out of the box. The leather is top quality and the snip toe is sure to stay in fashion for some time. You don't have to be from Texas to strut your stuff in these beauties! If you're looking for the perfect combination of style, comfort and fit, look no further. A shout out to Zappos for being the BEST SHOE SOURCE EVER! My husband hates y'all (cause Zappos is my addiction) but I think Zappos ROCKS!!

I love these boots! I got these in 6.5 and needed a 7. They were a little snug across the top in both sizes but the 7 loosened up after I wore then for the 1st time. I am usually a 6.5 most of the time. I loved them so much that I just ordered them in black as well. These are timeless. You will were them forever!

These are beautiful boots. Great color and texture. True to size, but do require a little break in period because they are a little stiff at first. Fast shipping and Zappos is so easy to deal with.

Yet to take them off - I thoroughly researched western boots and determined that Lucchese was the best of the best and goat skin the very softest option available. My boots arrived about a month ago and I have yet to take them off. They're gorgeous, comfortable and get compliments wherever I go. They looked good when they were new, but now look even better with a bit of scuffing. My only concern is that I might have to take them off next weekend for my best friend’s wedding. Then again...maybe not.

I love Luccheses, won't buy anything else. I bought them in a half size larger to wear with socks and this allows me to wear them on a plane with only nylons. Zappos is fabulous. Fabulous product, fabulous service and all right here at my computer.

No other boot like this - I own literally 4 pairs of this boot, and about 12 pairs of Lucchese, this boot molds to your feet; I highly suggest it for any women, especially those who wear boots all day.

Lucchese cowboy boots - These boots are awesome and so isn’t Zappos! First of all they arrived at my door the next day and were super cute. They fit great and really didn't need to be broken in. I wear them with everything and everywhere. I was really surprised by how comfortable they are. I get compliments all the time. They look better with wear too!

Absolutely the best boot! This boot fits like a glove - it is fabulous! It requires no break-in period - feels great from day one. It is a beauty!

Love this boot! This boot is amazing and so very comfortable. I purchased my true size and need only wear a thin trouser sock. Every time I wear them I get compliments...definitely recommend them if you want a comfortable, stylish boot.

From skeptical to satisfied - First let me say I'm a chicken when it comes ordering anything over the internet. I am in not a country girl/woman, don’t care of country music, but I have always liked western boots. These Lucchese boots caught my eye. They looked good on the computer screen but even better when they arrived, in 2 days mind you. A bit hard to get on initially. I thought maybe that’s why cowboys died with their boots on. Second time I wore them they went on with less effort. Now they slip on easy as pie. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Boots - I really enjoy my buying experience with Zappos. I have bought several pair of Lucchese boots from Zappos after having found that the Lucchese brand really does fit my foot like no other boot! My experience has taught me that when buying Lucchese the fit changes according to category. I have tried the Lucchese Charlie One Horse, 1883, and Lucchese 2000. In my opinion the Charlie One Horse fits substantially different on my foot then the other two groups. My foot has a slightly narrow heel and lower arch, so the Charlie One Horse boot felt too large for my typically average size foot. The 1883 fits a little looser on my foot then a custom boot, but wearing a slightly thicker sock (I only wear socks- no stocking feet or bare foot in boots - yuk) helps the boot fit snugger to my foot. I have found several 1883 differences in soles. This pair (N4540) has a leather sole - great for three seasons (do not wear it in snow - it has no traction!) I have another pair of 1883s that have a rubber sole that are wonderful in snow. My favorite pair is the Lucchese 2000s. They have a different sole and heel combination completely, but they are a pair that can be worn all year long (not great for dancing because of the rubber sole - like dancing in tennis shoes). Besides the differences in the sole the shaft of the boots has important differences. I like multiple stitching (six rows or more) that the Luccheses boots have. The designs of the stitching are attractive and usually multi-colored making it versatile enough to wear with any color. The opening of the boots is different also. I like the split in the front and back which lets my calf and leg move comfortably when walking! Thanks for the selections Zappos!

Practical - Thank you Zappos! These boots are nice. I just got them for Christmas and I can't wait for the snow and ice to go away so that I can safely wear them! I feel like a kid looking at my new boots when I walk around the house in them. These 1883's fit perfectly. I am satisfied with the understated look of these perfectly practical boots. Good job Lucchese. Y'all will LOVE these boots because of the wonderful fit and feel on the foot as well as on the calf.

Amazing boot! I love-love-love this boot. I bought it in chocolate and the tan. They get softer and more comfortable with wear. I'm usually a size 9 in a closed-toe shoe, and I went with the 8.5 in the Lucchese boot. I don't even wear socks with them, they are that wonderful. I'm actually considering adding a pair of black 1883's to my collection. I bought Lariat's prior, for comfort, and they do not compare to this boot.

Lucchese N4540 - I was so excited to get these and the shipping was SUPER fast! When I first put them on, like a lot of people, I thought they were too tight and I would have to return - BUT - once I got them all the way on my foot, the molded to it. They are comfy, soft and rugged looking, but perfect for a woman who wants an awesome pair of boots. Get these - you will not be disappointed!

Love them! These are the 2nd most comfortable shoes I own, right behind my sneakers. I am so happy with the look and the comfort. Everyone went crazy over them the first day I wore them into work. Great value!

Who's cooler than me??? These boots ROCK! I've owned a couple of pairs of "cowboy boots" over the years - or so I thought... These boots are very comfortable and so cool! I feel like everyone is jealous of my boots - and I would be too if they weren't on me. At least 3 times a week, I get compliments on these from friends and perfect strangers. If there was one thing that might not be perfect, it would be that the right boot is a little tighter than the left. But I'm going to wait a couple of weeks to see if they stretch out a bit, if not, I will take it to a cobbler and have him stretch it. I certainly wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water on this one! Zappos was very efficient and timely with the delivery too! Thank you!

Amazing! These are the most beautiful and amazing boots! They fit so perfect and I didn't even have to break them in! They are perfectly distressed and the leather and workmanship is top notch! What else do you expect from a boot company that's been around since the 1800's! Great boot and company and I plan on purchasing more!
