I have degenerative arthritis and been wearing only athletic shoes for years. In addition to the arthritis, my posture was suffering. These Earth Shoes not only are great shock absorbers for the arthritis - but my posture has been greatly improved. I have a grey/white pair I only wear inside the office, a pair that has been through the rain and bad weather, a pair for my 3 miles a day of walking and PT, a pink pair and a blue pair. They hold up very well.

Earth's Energetic - These shoes are extremely comfortable! I can actually feel the blood circulating through my feet and up into my lower calves as I walk. I have had foot surgery (bunion), and these shoes have been a dream! I did originally order the size 6, and they were a little small. Exchanging them for a 6 1/2 was no problem, though!

A woman at my club was raving about these shoes, and I needed some new workout shoes, so I decided to buy some. What the heck, if I didn't like them I could return them! They do feel different, and take a bit of "getting used to." I think my posture is better with these shoes, which is a plus. I think the additional stretch I feel in my calves is also a plus to my workouts. Based on previous reviews, I ordered a half size larger than my norm, and the shoes fit perfectly.

GREAT SHOE - Great show, great fit true to size. I work as a nurse and my feet don't hurt all day in these shoes.

Earth Sneakers - All Earth shoes are made for my feet, very comfortable fit, and the sneakers live up to my expectations. I love them! Of course Zappos is just as reliable with their service - Fantastic! If you have a wide foot, you'll find Earth shoes to be too narrow unless they have wide sizing.

I'm loving these shoes - they help me stand up straight and lower my shoulders, which does a lot for my shoulder tension. I've also noticed the shoes correct some of my bad habits - I overpronate which leads to a chronic knee condition that seems to have disappeared with these shoes. The one thing is since completely different muscles are being worked it takes a while to get used to the shoe. In other words, different muscles feel sore after being worked out. A period of adjustment is necessary - I'm going very slow, particularly on the treadmill where I'm most prone to injury.

Earth Energetic Great shoe for people on their feet all day - These are the perfect shoe if you work on your feet. They are incredibly comfortable and supportive. Lots of cushion.

Awesome walking shoes! I enjoyed the look and feel of these athletic shoes that I had to buy a second pair! They are incredibly comfortable and takes nearly no time to adjust. I have never had the sore feet from having to break them in. I highly recommend this for the early morning mall walkers!

Blast from the Past - Wow, haven't worn earth shoes since the 70's. They are terrific, NO lower back pain for the first time in years after a full day on my feet. Great thing is they look like any other athletic shoe. I will be buying some other styles soon.

These shoes are great! I am wearing them right now preparing to work out on the step board. They fit well and support the foot. I have a size 61/2 foot and am comfortable in a 7. The 6 1/2 was tiny on me. The shoes did not need breaking in, my body did. The negative heel function is real and dramatic. When I wear them all day my body is exhausted and aches so, I have started wearing them for two hours and plan to build up. I can feel my posture changing. Many of my chronic aching places have lessened or vanished. My shoulders are more relaxed, my hip is pain free and my neck has stopped aching. I have less poor posture induced headaches. I do not need orthotics with these shoes. I highly recommend all earth shoes. They really do work like a walk in the sand at the beach.

This seem pretty good - I am wearing these shoes for walking and exercise (e.g. nordic track type exercise) - they have been terrific. I can feel the pull in the thighs and no back pain

Earth Shoes are the BEST - For the last 10 years I have had difficulty finding athletic shoes that fit me properly and didn't aggravate a medical condition I have. These shoes are wonderful! They are so comfortable. I thought I'd never be able to wear "tennis shoes" again, so it's hard to take these off!

First Time User - I was desperate to find an active shoe that fit my lifestyle. I walk/hike about 5-7 miles a day. My shoe sizes run the gamut froom 8.5m to 10.5m to 9.5w. So I ordered the Energetic from Zappos. These shoes fit right out of the box. 9.5m was perfect w/heavy socks. It felt alittle funny with a lower heel but I'm hooked on these shoes. And Zappos still amazes me with their customer service. I'm always looking for a deal but I bought these shoes at a slight premium because of Zappos' service.

Fabulous shoes! I ordered my Energetic Earth Shoes on Dec. 30 at 11:30, using free shipping. They arrived on Dec. 31 around 11 a.m.! And they are the best walking shoes I've ever had. They are well padded for a cushioned step, the arch provides ample support for my needy feet, and the extra hole at the top stops the heel from rubbing. The curve of the sole in front almost encourages the next step. I have had a pair of Earth Kharma for a month so the negative heel doesn't take so much geting used to, but it's an easy adjustment. I am an active 60 yr. old (how did that ever happen so fast?), and the shoes definitely help with my posture and lower back aches. I highly recommend these shoes and Zappo's service!!

Earth energetic - Jumped on this shoe as soon as it came out...I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital, and they are great. Not only do my feet feel great but my low back pain is eliminated.

Best Exercise Shoe Ever - I've found this to be the perfect shoe for my exercise needs. It offers fabulous comfort from the treadmill to the stairmaster to the BodyPump class...and the Negative Heel Technology really gives you a good "dig in" stance for doing those squats. I've definitely found my lifelong exercise shoe!

HK - These are great! I have not been able fitness walk without pain from my bunion for the last 6 months UNTIL I tried these. And believe me, I have a pile of shoes in my closet that I have had to alternate based on my foot. These will help me to continue delaying surgery. Very comfortable Good looking too. And as usual, Zappos wonderful service and overnight delivery. My favorite shoe store!

Earth really got it right with this shoe! This shoe is everything I hoped it would be as a good walking shoe: lots of shock absorption, stabilizing, comfortable padding, and so "springy" my feet almost sprout wings! They might too, except the Energetic makes it too much fun to be on solid ground. And on top of all this, there's the styling. There is lots of beautiful and bold styling on this shoe. Even the soles are dramatic. And while it doesn't show up on the photos, some of the small panels in the designs are reflective (a nice safety feature if you're out after dark). I've been wanting a walking shoe that was a treat to my feet and eyes as well. This is a real "designer" walking shoe. Earth really delivered!

Great Sneaker - This is a wonderful sneaker!! From the moment I put them on, my feet felt great. Too bad the snowy winter is coming, as I have been wearing them every day.

Excellent shoes - I am delighted with these shoes. I had not been able to locate comfortable exercise shoes and these are the perfect shoe. I wear almost nothing but Earth shoes and these are great.

I have to say I have never had the great service I experienced with Zappos. The Energetic Earth shoe is extremely comfortable, energizing and very supportive. Also, I had been suffering from a very painful problem with Mortons Neuroma, this shoe stopped the pain totally when wearing this shoe and lessened the pain unbelievably when I do not. The only thing I have a problem with is that on the third day they made a very noticeable squeaking sound which of course continues on.
