Energetic - I was quite surprised by the positive effects this shoe had on my posture. I didn't notice the change so very much at first -- until I put on my old walking shoes...I felt like I was on pegs! I checked my profile in the mirror and sure enough the Earth shoes straightened my back without effort. Such a relief to someone who has struggled with her posture for years. The removable insoles felt a little too thick in the arches (and I have high arches) so I don't wear them daily -- only when I walk -- and they look more stylish than I thought. After a couple of weeks with these shoes I can still only do 2 miles as opposed to my normal 5K, but I have a variety of foot, leg and back ailments (plus the only thing I wore previously was heels) that are just going to take some time to overcome so I don't blame the shoe -- in fact my shins haven't bothered me a bit since I started wearing these. These shoes do run a bit small -- I ordered a half size larger and they fit fine, but if I had thin, delicate feet I would likely go with my regular size. Zappos ultra fast delivery and superior customer service made a loyal customer out of me.

Comfy shoes! These shoes felt a little weird when I first put them on, but after walking around in them for a while, I decided to try the treadmill! And they were great. Good arch support and my heel spur never bothered me the whole time. I'm not real picky about the looks of my walking shoes, but I do like the pink! :)

Great Shoe - I wear this to run on the treadmill & to walk outside...so comfortable & looks good too. Hope they never stop making it!!!!

LOVE this shoe! After wearing the Earth Magnetism 2, I decided to get the Energetic. The "negative heel" concept has helped to ease my low back pain, especially when I'm on my feet for long periods. It took a little longer than usual for Zappos to get them shipped to me, but they arrived and I've loved them ever since! I ordered a half-size larger than I normally wear, and the fit was great!

Grooving with GAIA Shoes - I read several other reviews that recommended I buy this shoe a half size larger than my usual size which I did. That worked out perfectly as I needed the extra toe room. I have a Morton's Neuroma in my right foot and felt that having my toes elevated in the shoe would be helpful, and so far it has really eased the pressure. I bought the shoe specifically for my Jazzercise classes, but am now wearing it for other exercise. I recommend that you break these in slowly as the realignment of the leg can cause cramping in the back of the calve muscles.

Perfect for me - This shoe exceeds all my expectations in comfort and design. I like the breathability and the "cushy" insoles that accommodate my orthotics. The negative heel of the Earth shoes helps my neck pain problem.

My New Earth Shoes - This is the most comfortable athletic shoe I have ever worn, and that is no exaggeration! I am convinced that the negative heal, as well as the overall construction of the shoe, has helped to improve a problem I have had with the toes on my right foot. They cramp and ache when I wear other shoes, but so far have been fine when I wear Earth's athletic shoe, Energetic. I love these shoes!

Fantastic shoes! I still can't believe how comfortable these shoes are. I've been having low back (sacro-iliac) pain that's aggravated after long walks which I enjoy for fitness. No more backaches and I feel that I'm burning more calories because I find my heart rate is higher than walking in other fitness shoes. Warning--if you wear heels most of the time (I don't) you may feel soreness in you calf muscles after just a short distance until you get used to the negative heel technology.

Walk to your heart's content - I purchased this athletic shoe because I walk a lot. I mean a lot; I walk my dogs at least two miles a day and more on the weekends. Other days we go to agility classes and I run with them. I should be a tester for athletic shoe durability. It does take a little bit to get used to the negative heel. I also have some Earth sandals so I knew what the brand is about. So far I am satisfied with them.

Bipolar review - These shoes are absolutely wonderful for low back pain, but not so hot for my plantar fasciitis. I'm on my feet and moving all day at work, my back feels great, but at the end of the day my feet are killing me! I normally wear Asics for running, and had been wearing them at work as well, now I alternate with the Earth shoes, one day with no back pain, one day without foot pain.

Earth Energetic - Love this shoe! Followed everyone's advice and bought a half size larger. They were definitely right.

Great Shoe - Relieves wear and tear on ball of foot! My walking regimen was in jeopardy because of a chronic problem in the ball of one foot. I am now walking further than ever with no pain. What a relief. I ordered 1/2 size up (after reading reviews) and am very happy with the size.

Not for everyone on Earth... My recent order was the quality I expected but after wearing the Earth Energetic my knee's started to swell and ache. I have osteo-arthritis in both knees and it has come to my attention to relieve the pressure on the knee I must wear a shoe that has a higher heel. I am positive if this condition did not exist I would LOVE the Earth Energetic’s. Fortunately my daughter wears the same size as I and will be the happy recipient of them. Thanks Much.

So comfortable-GREAT shoes! I absolutely love these shoes. I have tried the expensive designer tennis shoes, and am always so disappointed by their lack of comfort. I am so glad that one of my favorite brands of shoes now makes attractive tennis shoes too! I normally where an 8.5 in sandals/shoes, but I find I generally prefer a 9 in tennis shoes.

Wonderful shoes - In the 1970's I purchased a pair of Earth Shoes and absolutely loved them! Same with this pair. Great comfortable shoes. They arrived at my home sooner than Zappos had promised! My daughter recommended Zappos to me, as she is a repeat customer. I too will return as a customer!

Earth's Energetic (Pink)- The shoe is very comfortable, however, they run small. I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear and they fit. I also like the pink color.

Great shoe. Needed no breaking in time. My back-aches are not as often or severe.

Wonderful Shoes - I purchased a pair of Earth shoes and couldn't believe how great my back felt when wearing them. I wanted to try a walking shoe to see if that would be a good. WOW, I love these shoes! The negative heel really works the calf muscles while you walk. I found that stretching before setting out was REALLY important. The best part is that my lower back feels so much better when wearing these. I would recommend them for anyone w/back issues. NOTE: I usually wear a wide width; however, I found that the size 8 regular gave me plenty of room.

Ah-h-h - These are the most comfortable shoes I've had in years. Since I suffer from multiple foot problems, I was reluctant to order without trying them on first but have never been so delighted with the fit and comfort. Thank you also for the customer service and speedy delivery.

Earth shoes - I love my Earth shoes ordered from Zappos. I had great service, fast delivery and the shoes are a great fit and very, very comfortable. Since I have a problem with my back I do appreciate anything that helps. These shoes did not cure my back; however I think they helped me with my posture and therefore may alleviate the stress on my back. Thanks Again Zappos!

Great shoes! I wish I could wear these every day! It seems like different muscles are used when walking in these as compared to other shoes. Based on other recommendations, I ordered 1/2 size larger than my regular and they fit perfectly.

Comfortable sneakers - I am a nurse and spend most of my usual twelve hours on my feet so I have tried many brands of shoes. These take a few days to get used to how your feet are aligned but are great once you get used to them. I would recommend them to others for work or play.

Great workout shoes! I have other Earth shoes and sandals and wanted to try these tennis shoes to see if they would help/enhance my workout (outdoor walking & gym work) and they do! It took a few days to get used to their style - they are a bit wide in the toe, and look a little huge overall (maybe it's just because they're so white - I'd like them in gray or something). While they are definitely not as "trendy" and "cute" as my old Adidas tennis shoes the point is to stay in shape, not win a fashion show! :) These are nice & comfortable shoes, and I definitely feel and like the difference of the negative heel! Highly recommended for anyone wanting to step up their workout... and help their back at the same time.

Pleased overall - Have been having trouble with left heel after walking in some Nike's and bought these shoes to hopefully fix it. My heel is better and the other heel feels GREAT. These shoes are very unusual to walk in and it is still taking a little effort to become accustomed to them. My affected foot still cramps a little during my walk but is better overall.

Great shoe - I have a heel problem and these really seem to help so far. The only problem I find is that they're hot from the leather. With the heat in my area this makes them a little uncomfortable. Will be better in the cooler months.
