Husband's shoes. I ordered three pairs for myself and I do really like them; however, I ordered a pair for my husband who was unable to get his wide foot in your shoe. It is really a shame as he is on his feet for sometimes 12 hours a day at work and I really felt that these shoes would have been a great benefit for him. I would really appreciate any notification if you ever make a wider width in the Energetic K Earth Shoe. As for myself this is the absolutely the most wonderful shoe as I have a callus right behind the second and third digit and I am at least able to get around without excruciating pain. Thank you so much.

Review of Earth's Energetic - I have very high arches and I have difficulty finding shoes that provide enough arch support that I don't need inserts. This shoe is very comfortable and provides excellent support and I don't need inserts. The shoe is wide enough so it doesn't put pressure on my feet and it's not too tight on the instep. Very comfortable with good support.

Earth's Energetic - I could feel the muscles in my calves working as soon as I started walking in these. They take a little getting used to with the negative heel. I feel like I'm going to fall forward when I take them off, but they're a great way to enhance your exercise as you walk.

Morton's Neuroma - I have a condition known as Morton's Neuroma that will most likely require surgery in the near future. I had the same surgery about 5 yrs ago. This shoe is an answer to a prayer for me. It keeps me off of the sore part of my foot and I am able to put in 12 hr shifts with minimal pain.

Best shoe EVER! This shoe is awesome - I look for excuses to wear them. I will warn potential buyers that this shoes fits smaller than its sizing, though. A lot of the other Earth shoes fit bigger than their sizing, so it was hard to get the right size online and there are NO stores around me that carry this style.

Happy Feet!! Unbelievably fast shipping. Shoes were exactly as described. All day comfort. I wear right up until bedtime because when I take them off, my achy hip returns.

Comfortable!!! In the 70's I wore EARTH shoes, through the years I stopped wearing them. After 30 some years I bought 2 pairs. Wow! GREAT!!! I bought ENERGETIC and SPLENDOR sandals. Boy did my feet miss them. I will only buy EARTH shoes from now on. Like my feet have pillows on them. My job requires me to be on my feet most of the day. So I'm very happy with my purchase. A Workout in a shoe! I had wanted to buy my Mom a pair of MBT shoes (great but very expensive) for her birthday but read an article about Earth shoes. Well, she loves them so much that she bought another style. I even bought a pair for myself. I have a wide foot & normally buy 1/2 - 1 size up. With these shoes, I was finally able to order my true size!

No more pain - I have been planning on buying these shoes for nearly 2 years. But I am cheap and poor so $100 for a pair of shoes well... Anyway I saved up because I have flat feet, over pronation, sciatica, and a bulging disc. When I wear them life truly is complete. Nothing hurts. Seriously. I finally feel stable on my feet, and my back stops hurting. I have only had these shoes for 1 week. I plan to buy the casual and dress shoes. I have to save up but goodness is it worth it. Now for the BUT... 1) They rub the back of my ankle. If I wear the wrong socks it can hurt a lot. A box of $.98 band-aids helps, but that really should not be necessary. 2) These shoes run small. I am true 7.5 but I had to get an 8. It was so narrow and a little short. However when I went up to an 8.5 the front was tight and the back was falling off. With more wearing they are breaking in, molding, but the rubbing continues. 3) Finally if you have problems with foot swelling. (Yeah I got that, too) The narrowness of these shoes will make you miserable until they stretch or mold. Trust me even with these faults they are worth every dime. And one more thing. You are going to start using muscles you never knew you had so you may be a little achy in the shins. Once again, it will go away in a few days.

Very Comfortable - I agree with the reviewer who said these look huge, but I only wear them for walking my dogs, so I don't care how big they look. I bought these so I could get a better workout while walking. I can really tell a difference going up hill. They are great for my purposes and I highly recommend them if you don't care how big your feet look!

Get walking shoes - I am very happy with this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and fallen arches and this shoe is comfortable for me all day. It was a little small, so I went up a 1/2 size and then they were fine.

Love this shoe! I have very flat feet and have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. I wore Earth shoes in the 70's and didn't realize that they were still around. Now that I'm older and have lower back pain, these shoes seem to relieve that.

Love this shoe - This is the best fit in a sports shoe that I have ever had. The only drawback is that I have a slight bump on one of my feet by the small toe and it gives a little pinch, but I think with time this will also become comfortable as the shoe molds to my feet. I really do love these shoes.

Earth Energetic shoes - Very comfortable. I tried Earth's boots, tall and short, and some sandals before I tried these and they are by far the most comfortable. Thanks to Zappos, I got to "try" all these other shoes before I found one that was comfortable for everyday use. Runs about a 1/2 size too small. I wear a 7 and when I ordered a 7, my feet felt like they were being squeezed all around. I sent them back and got a size 7 1/2 and they fit very nicely.

Finally a comfortable shoe! Great cushioning and arch support. And toes are in an upward slant, so no pressure on them at all. Finally, I've found a comfortable shoe that I don't mind wearing all day!

I love these shoes! I recently found out that I have tendonitis in my left Achilles tendon. My left heel was painful and stiff when I walked. One day after wearing the Earth Energetic shoes, my foot felt so much better than a week of stretches had done. I've worn them several days now and my left leg is much better than it's been for weeks. I'm ordering a pair of the Earth Pacific in Balk, since the Energetic only comes in white, but I'm confident that the Pacific's will be just as great. I got a size ten, and I have been wearing mostly 9 and 1/2s, so you might want a half-size larger. My tens fit perfectly.

2nd Choice - My partner has been having problems with her feet lately, so we thought that new shoes were in order. She ordered a different pair of Earth Tennis shoes, but for some reason her regular size 9 did not fit in this particular style. She had to pick an alternate selection, since the next size up was not available. She has not stopped wearing this pair except to wear her new pair of Earth Classy shoes. She says that her feet do not hurt anymore and she is walking more often.

Tones Your Legs & Butt! This is my second pair of Earth shoes (not counting the pair I had as a teenager) and I love them for one reason: they firm my butt and tone my legs. Wearing these shoes must force your body to use different muscles. Sometimes my legs even feel tired when I am wearing them. I would imagine that I burn more calories when I am wearing them, too. I have a high arch and these sneakers give excellent arch support, so that's good, too. These sneakers don't look like Earth shoes, just regular sneakers. I have the grey/white combination. I am normally a 9 but 9 1/2 is the perfect fit for me in both the Earth Energetic sneaker and the Earth sandal I got last summer.

"Here come Ann's shoes!" I love these shoes- they are really comfortable- they definitely give you a tougher work out than regular athletic shoes! I did have to order a size and a half up from my regular though. (I also wear two pair of socks-) The down size is they look HUGE! But if it allows me to walk without back or foot pain, they're worth it.

Best pair of Athletic Shoes I've ever owned - I've never owned a pair of earth shoes before in my life, because they used to be so ugly. But after seeing how they've expanded their line, I had to try the athletic shoes since I was looking for a new pair. These shoes are so comfortable and have great insole support. I use these shoes for treadmill jogging, for walking, weight lifting, and for bench step aerobics. So far, they are great for cross training. They are a great running shoe because they help roll my foot forward during the stride. It took some getting used to having the heel lower than the rest of the foot, but that was no big deal. Earth shoes run a size smaller than other shoes, so you have to order at least one size up, or a half size, than you normally wear. Because I do a lot of lunges in my exercise routine, I have to be sure the laces are snug enough throughout the shoe; otherwise the shoe would slip off my heel. I did have some rubbing on the side of my toe during jogging, but again, this was resolved by tightening the laces lower on the foot. I was so impressed with this shoe my husband got a pair as well. He says he likes them too. I plan on buying another pair of Earth shoes, probably sandals, to wear to work.

If They Work For Me... I have boxy feet with a poor arch (usually wear 8-8.5 for street shoes and 9 for anything pointy; the 8.5 Energetic fits perfectly). I pronate and used inserts when fast walk/running in ordinary running shoes. Once got plantar fasciitis from the wrong trail shoe that took over a year to heal. In short, I would be scared to see a total of the dollars I have spent on street and athletic shoes to find the right fit. These are among the best athletic shoes I've found. The closest- best are MBTs, but they have a few negatives- not the least of which is $$$. In both cases, the negative heel works wonders on my alignment and running mechanics. These stabilize my stride and just plain feel great. I can't say I've noticed a huge difference in butt, etc, but love the change in my posture. Total convert to Earth.

Great leisure/workout shoe! I'm so excited that the Earth shoe is back! They're comfortable, yet supportive. The pain in my lower back has decreased considerably since wearing the shoe. I wear them everyday, everywhere; even to workouts! Thanks, Zappos for your great selection and prompt delivery!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes - These were my first Earth shoes and I love them. It is so comfortable and my feet do not get tired from walking all day. I loved them so much that I got my husband a pair and he also loves them. He has had two back surgeries, so comfortable shoes are a must. He swears by these shoes. We both give it a thumbs up.

My first pair of Earth Shoes - I had some doubts about purchasing these because of the price but I don't regret it at all. There was an immediate difference in the way I stood and walked. I could really feel the burn in my calves when I huffed it from my car to work in the mornings. I did take the advice of others and ordered a half size larger (noted that they felt a half size smaller than marked because the 9 with thick socks fits like my other 8 1/2 shoes) and they are a perfect fit. The only thing that would have scored these at a 4 for comfort would be that I had to lace the shoes fairly snug to avoid any heel slippage and that caused them to feel tight. But now, after about a month, I don't notice the tightness anymore. And I can still feel the workout they give my legs. I have no complaints on the workmanship either. So far so good. Earth Energetic - I wish the shoe was a bit more wide and longer. I ordered an size 11 and feel it's more like a 10 1/2
