This is my first J&M and i'm really pleased. I use it every other day so i can really recommend this.

I've already recommended this shoe to a few friends, and I will continue to do so.

The investment in this shoe is worth every penny. If you are interested in comfort, great look and long lasting this shoe is for you. I order a new pair every year and rotate two pairs every week. I have been buing this shoe for 8 years straight and will never buy another shoe. Johnston and Murphy has my business for a lifetime.

I have purchased the Melton Cap-Toe for a number of years. I wear the shoe everyday to the office. My size is a 13-E and it is very comfortable to wear. Because the stores usually don't carry my size, I order the shoes online[...] I only had one pair where they occasionally "squeaked". I wore them for a couple of weeks to see if it would go away. Even though I purchased them onlne, I was able to return the shoes via their mall store[...]I have never used J & M's restoration service even though I would like to have kept the broken-in comfortable shoes because I am so confident another new pair would fit and wear just as good. I probably have had 6 pairs of Meltons over the past 12 years and I wear them every day. I highly recommend this quality full-leather shoe and style for an office or dress-up setting.

It had been a while since I wore Johnston & Murphy dress shoes because I purchased a couple of pairs of Cole-Haan in between because I heard how comfortable they were now. Let me just say that I did not have that experience with Cole-Haan and when I did go back to J&M, I was blown away with how comfortable they were straight out of the box. I can wear them all day, in meetings, in the airport and to dinner and they are as comfortable as any shoes I own - and the style and craftsmanship are impeccable. I bought two other pairs of a different style right after these because I liked them so much.

I wear to work every day and am on my feet a lot. Great comfort.

I wear these shoes to work every day. They are an excellent everyday shoe that conveys both style and professional class. The only complaint is that the cordovan will scuff and they sole will wear out in 9-12 months. This is my 5th pair of these shoes.

I would like to see your shoes to be more broken in. It takes awhile for the shoes to get comfortable

Good looking shoes, they were quite comfortable. Of course the leather is stiff but break them in, they fit true to size and feel comfortable.

Classic dress shoe that is very comfortable and durable. I replaced my last pair that lasted more than 10 years.

The shoe looks gorgeous on feet, fits perfectly and feels great. No gaps between the ankle parts, one of the reasons I bought this shoe, and overall design is beautiful, another reason I bought the shoe! 10/10 would recommend!
