Ballet slippers - We bought these slippers in white for a bride! She has very wide feet so we knew any typical shoes would not prove to be comfortable. These slippers were a perfect fit and will ensure she enjoys her day without suffering with sore feet. An added plus is the EXTRA quick shipment and easy return policy. Bloch "slipper" great little slipper - Adorable little shoe. I am using them for Tai Chi so although I didn't go as small as suggested, I did go smaller than my street shoe size. They do the job of allowing me to "feel" the floor. I don't reccomend them as house slippers though, as someone said they planned on using them for. Great shoe GREAT service

Great little beginner shoe. You may be able to find this shoe a little cheaper elsewhere, but if you must order online, Zappos' QUICK shipping and FREE return policy makes the little extra cost well worth it. I had to order TWO sizes down (not 3 as suggested).

Comfortable Dancing - My dad bought these shoes for me over the Internet and they were a perfect fit. I feel like a fairy when I'm in ballet class.

Bloch Dansoft - Great Value, Great Quality - The perfect shoe for my daughter's dance routine in the school play. They are great quality and fit perfectly. I plan to order a pair for myself to wear as house slippers. They look and feel great.

Fabulous! These shoes are so soft - the leather is great, very comfortable overall. I would say to order 2.5 sizes smaller than your street size for women, though, and stick with B width unless your feet are quite wide - I had to buy a C because B wasn't available and they are a bit wider than I would like them to be.

Hard to find the right size - Great dance shoe and now that I have the right size, I am very happy with it. 3 sizes smaller isn't quite right and their wide isn't really. I ended up with a 4E and I usually wear a 6.5 D. You may just have to try a few pairs before you get the right one.

Great Shoe! I originally ordered a 6.5, but had to return it for 5.5, so definitely go smaller! The return process went smoothly, one of the best reasons to shop Zappos! I love these shoes for just wearing around the house or doing yoga. I will buy another pair!

Bloch Dansoft - If you want a ballet flat, you might as well get a ballet flat. There's nothing much to them, but that's the point. You can feel the floor, which is good if you're dancing, not so good if you're walking up somebody's gravel driveway.

Good shoes, but... Usually I buy size 7, but following the instruction, I've chosen 5.5 and it was my size. The main confusion with the slippers is that I don't know ‘til now whether I have two left shoes or there is just no difference in between them. In general, I like them, but the price is too high.

Great for new dance student - Got these for belly-dancing class and they have been just fine. I had to order down three sizes since the standard width was not available.

Comfy-o-rama - Wasn't sure I would be okay with fit, but completely love them! Ordered 1 1/2 smaller and it seemed to be perfect. Like the fit and comfort, and I am not a dancer. Just use them for light wear.

I love this little shoe, but make sure you order your street size (or 1/2-size larger, even), rather than smaller as other ballet shoes require. This is a great adult begginer shoe. Reasonably priced, has a cute daisy liner.

Good shoe for ballet workouts - I bought this shoe for ballet DVD workouts ("Balletone," "Ballet Boot Camp," etc.) Previously I did these routines barefoot, but later in the day my feet would hurt. Doing these workouts in the Bloch ballet shoes has given me foot support and a much more enjoyable workout. I recommend these shoes to anyone doing barre exercises, dancer or not. The shoes become more comfortable the more I wear them, as they contour to my feet.

I normally wear a 10w and ordered these in a 8.5 & they do fit but the soles are quite short and stop at an uncomfortable place under my heel.

Shoe Review- Shoe is not true to size- runs rather small. However, if you take lessons/and-or rehearse often, it will stretch. The first few practices will be slightly painful though.

Ballerina Slipper - The slipper was very, very wide, and it's supposed to be a "B" width. It should have been labeled "EE" width. The slippers must be returned.

I'm a size 7 and ordered 5 and 5.5. Ended up keeping the 5.5. In terms of width, the A worked out better for me than the B since I have skinny feet, but B could have worked as well. Overall, very comfortable flats.

Bloch is always a winner. Been wearing them for years.

Great ballet shoes! My daughter wears a size 3 gym shoe but based on other reviews I wasn't sure which size to order. We ordered both the size 2s and size 3s. The thing you can't really tell from the picture is the strings on the front actually run around the entire opening of the shoe and can be loosened or tightened to get a perfect fit. I really don't understand other reviewers saying they needed to go down a size because the size 3s worked great. They are just a touch big but I know her feet will grow in the time we need them, so we are keeping those and just tying the bow a little tighter because there is no way the size 2s would fit more than a few weeks.

My daughter wears a size 3 in street shoes and we ordered the size 3. It was a good fit with only a little extra growing room. We tightened the string for a more perfect fit. The leather was soft and my daughter was delighted to wear these. I would recommend this product to others.

First of all, I have a confession to make. I did a very bad thing: I got sized at a local dance store and then bought these shoes online. To be fair, I did buy a pair of these shoes in black from said local dance store, saw the markup, and decided to buy the pink pair online. I wear a US 8.5 / EUR 39; I ordered the size I tried on in the store, a 5.5 C. The shoes fit perfectly and the soft leather makes for a short break-in period. I wear them chiefly as indoor barefoot-style shoes at work. They would be great for any dance cardio class or barre class, too. The product shipped quickly, and I got tons of compliments on my cute new shoes right from the first day I wore them at work!
