Sizing - Definitely order a full size larger than your street shoe for this item. I'm an 8.5 and the 9.5 fit perfectly. It could also use a little more room in the toe-box, but it has been stretching with wear. Other than that, great shoe!

Comfortable shoe, but the strap ripped out after a two weeks of use. It's not exactly what I wanted in the middle of a show out of a brand new shoe.

This shoe has a very narrow toe box, not enough room, it crunched my big toe. I don't think I can stand to wait till they stretch out...sending them back.

Good heel height and somewhat stylish. Had to send them back for even though I ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal they were too tight and narrow even with a wide width.

Shoe runs VERY small- Cute shoe, but very small and uncomfortable. I was also concerned with the nail showing on the bottom of the sole. I returned for the Capezio Manhattan style and ordered a half size bigger with wide width. Very satisfied with exchange process!!

Destroys my feet when I wear them - I bought these shoes for shows, and bring them out a month before hand to start practicing dance steps in. Whenever I wear them for longer than an hour, my feet are uncomfortable and sore. When I first bought them and tried them on, they felt fine, but I didn't bother wearing them for an extended period of time. Even with the low heel, there ends up being too much pressure on the ball of the foot, making it uncomfortable in the sole. I'm not sure how they manage this, since I've had 4-inch heel shoes feel a lot more comfortable than these. I will not purchase these shoes again, and these shoes have turned me off to the Capezio brand completely.

My daughter wears a 7.5 street shoe and the 8.5 fit well. Would order a full size up.

My feet have grown, and my older size 8 character shoes pinched my toes after a couple hours of dancing. I ordered 8 1/2 and love them. Just a bit more toe room length wise, but the rest of my foot feels secure. I probably should order another pair as I get nervous that this style will be dropped!

So comfortable. I got them for a ballroom dancing lesson and they are perfect. Really soft and pretty on your feet. A great value.

Perfect fit for my narrow feet (8.5), comfortable from the start, love the heel height, and I don't slip inside the shoe while wearing hosiery like I do in other shoes.

My daughter needed these for character class at her dance school. We had to size up 2 full shoe sizes - she wears a 2.5 tennis shoe and we ended up keeping the 4.5 character shoe.

I read the reviews and decided to get a wide in my usual size, but ended up having to return and get 1/2 size larger in a wide. Beautiful shoe. Very comfortable. Can be used for dancing or just as a dress up shoe with a dress.

Based on other reviews I ordered up a full size and up a width. I normally wear a 10M, but the 11W fits comfortably. I was pleasantly surprised that these are more comfortable than the pair I had 20 years ago. Decent arch support and a soft footbed. I have a bone spur on the top of my big toe and sometimes shoes will be too tight across the top of my foot. The cut of the toe actually leaves the joint exposed, preventing tightness and discomfort.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who is in a musical theater production at her high school. She needed some character shoes. These shoes were true to size. I ordered a size 11 and with a wide width and they fit perfection. My daughter said they are very comfortable and they are perfect. I could have ordered these shoes from another outlet online but my go to place for shoes is Zappos. I trust their service and they always stand behind whatever product they sell. I love Zappos and have been using them for years and will continue to do so. Thank you for being such an excellent customer service company.

These are very comfortable but run very small. I usually take either a 7.5 medium or an 8 narrow in street shoes. I needed 8.5 medium in these.

Too short. Capezio, please make a womens 13.

This is the best basic dance shoe I have found, after trying other similar styles. I stayed with my shoe size, but chose Wide instead of Medium. It is padded, comfortable, and has a low heel. Another great feature is that it has MANY holes on the strap--so helpful! Glad to discover such a great shoe, at a surprisingly low price point. Zappos Customer Service is amazing with its speedy delivery too!

These shoes help with my dancing initially tried my regular size but needed to increase a full size. I would order 1 size up and order a 1/2 size up try them on and return other

As so many have already said, I ordered my street shoe size and it's a perfect fit. I have narrow feet, so ordered narrow. The width is good; my toes are definately snug though not terribly uncomfortable. I'm generally pleased with them.

These were purchased for my teen who is in the drama department at school. She has a wide foot and it's super hard to get shoes for specific needs for wide and needed character shoes. These were perfect. The reviews made me order a half size up with wide width. Normally she would be a 9W or 9.5M and she said they are perfect as a 9.5W. Leaves enough in the toe box without any cramping or crowding. She seems comfortable in the heel. The only comment was that they were slippery on a wood floor. I mentioned that would change with surface use. I guess these could also be a pretty nice dress shoe as well. These will be used without taps.

I really liked this shoe. I have a narrow heel and the plus the strap made it easy to walk in. But alas my normal size was too short. Was going to exchange for the next size but unfortunately it was no longer available so am returning the shoes.
