Awesome tango practice shoes - First time ever a brand new shoe fits like a glove!!

Looks snappy! A very simple design but elegant looking shoe. Bought to wear at a wedding where they'd be worn and danced in all night long. I found they run a bit small and if you know your feet are prone to swelling you should definitely order a bigger size. Still, they did the job and they're really just so beautiful.

Perfect - I ordered the shoes to replace the ones my daughter had for her drill team. The ones were worn. They fit perfectly, exactly the same shoes as the other girls. The best part was the cost, free shipping (which I got in 2 days) and not having to place a bulk order of shoes for only a pair.

Very Nice! I love this shoe. But buy it a size larger than your regular size because these sizes run small.

Great Stage shoe - definitely follow the guidelines for the sizing, they run small. I use these on stage and love them. they are comfortable and i am able to dance in them and wear them for extended periods of time. It might be a good idea to get some grips for the bottoms though, they can get slippery on stage.

GREAT - exactly what I wanted

A size too small? Maybe not. I purchased these shoes a full size large following the advice of the other reviewers. These shoes felt a little too big, although they do run a little narrow, since the width is perfect on me even though it's a size too big. They're very comfortable and I'm waiting for Zappos to get more in stock before I exchange them for a smaller size.

The Shoe That Does ALL - I am an actress and dancer in need of a versital shoe and this one did the job. They look gorgous feel great, and they're classy enough to wear out! They are sturdy and support your arch very well. This shoe tend to run a bit small so I recommend a full size larger.

Capezio Character Shoe - I bought this shoe for my daughter who is always in school plays. She says it is very comfortable even after several hours of rehearsal. However, please note that the shoe runs small and required a full size larger than her normal shoe size for a comfortable foot.

Loved the soft padding inside shoes. Felt very comfortable. However, I normally wear a Size 9 and will have to return and re-order a 9 1/2 for comfort. They seemed to run a bit small in length. Otherwise great shoe.

I always wear a size 9 and disregarded the advise to size up, these shoes were too short and too narrow. I am going to return them and try for a bigger size.

I love Zappos but be careful when you order these shoes. I only wore them only around the house and the bottoms became very scuffed while trying to decide if they fit or not. They did not! Now I cannot return them even though they were never outside because they are no longer in the condition to which I received them. They are too tight at the toe. I can never wear them.

I am not a dancer. My show experience is in the orchestra but I have always thought these were classic and wanted a pair. The only thing I'd say is they seem to be made for dance floors, duh! I might take them to have some sole reinforcement added. Of course you can turn them into tap shoes so it makes sense. I think next time I'd spend more money for a dress shoe that is a little hardier for the outdoors, but they are very comfy otherwise. The heel height is really good for me. I swim and run and heels and I don't get along very well much higher than this.

My daughter loves these! Go one full size bigger, they run small! She feels so grown up in them.

Great shoes! Looks: super cute. Very professional. Size: I'm normally either a 5W or 5.5W, and I ordered 6W after reading the reviews here. I definitely suggest you order 1 size up. Comfort: due to innate ankle weakness, I cannot wear mid/high heels and kitten/stiletto heels. These shoes keep my balance like a pair of flats does. Only complaint: the sole is a bit slippery; suggest you put those pads under the shoes.

Beautiful but small - I originally ordered my size but had to exchange them for 1/2 size larger. Still it was tight but I chose to keep them and have them stretched. Next time I'll order them in wide.

Pretty good for a cheap tap shoe - As a major advocate for Capezio, I will say that this shoe is very comfortable, but has very minimal bend in the arch for pointing / toe stands. If you wear them as character shoes instead of taps be prepared to scuff up the bottom, they're extremely slippery. I love the new heel design.

Good shoe, amazing delivery! I ordered this shoe at the last minute for a theater performance as I could not find my other character shoes. They arrived the next day. Incredible! I would recommend ordering a full size larger than street shoe size, and order the wide unless you have very narrow feet. The shoes tend to run small. Good value for the $$$.

Sturdy and classic shoe - This is a sturdy, well-made and comfortable shoe. The look is a bit older, but it is a classic style that one can always wear. It does run very small. I order a half size larger than I normally wear after reading other reviews, but still needed to return it and order another half size up.

Too big... Good shoe and comfortable for my daughter. However, based on the other reviews of this shoe, I purchased them one half size bigger than usual. They were too big. I had to put inserts inside the shoes, but they are still big for her. I don't know why so many people said they were bigger than marked. I'd definitely recommend buying your usual size.

Jr. Footlight - Attractive shoe - it's part of a costume worn by a Sweet Adeline’s International women's barbershop chorus. This type of shoe is a must for the choreography required.

Good value for money dancing shoes - The heel is comfortable and so is the arch support. However, if you are planning on dancing for long you might need an additional soft insole so that you remain comfortable. The sole is quite hard and after two hours can start bothering your feet despite good arch support. Also the shoe isn't leather. I wouldn't wear the shoes as normal dress up shoes but they're great for dancing. And yes, get a size larger than marked and also wider. I NEVER get wide width but had to get W in these shoes.

Way too tight - These shoes are at least a full size smaller than what they say they are. They do look cute though, so I ordered them a size bigger hoping that helps....we'll see.

Good shoe but small - I ordered a half size larger but should have ordered a full size larger. The place where the shoes were uncomfortable was in the toe, noticeable after about a half hour of wear. They look good, especially for the price, but I wish I had ordered larger. I read the previous reviews and ordered larger but I just didn't go big enough.

No room for big toe! This would have been the perfect pair of dance shoes, if only there had been room for my toes! The vamp of the shoe tapers down to the tip so severely that my big toes were squished down! Too painful to wear longer than 10 minutes. Good advice to buy at least a half size larger than street shoes for overall comfort.
