I feel like dancing - I ordered these shoes because my husband and I recently signed up for dance lessons. Following the reviews, I ordered a half size larger. They are a little narrow (but so are my feet), the not-too high heels is great for an evening of dancing, but I wouldn't recommend wearing them for extended periods of time. They are a good deal for the money! They are exactly what I was looking for--I bought basic black and plan to order another color when I have a little more experience on the dance floor~ And as always, Zappos is the only shoe store for me!

Zappos is the greatest! I have very narrow feet and have NEVER had a pair of shoes to really fit correctly. Zappos is my hero! The ordering and return process was so easy - I couldn't be more impressed. Zappos you have a customer for life! About the shoes - they are short as everyone says, but cushy on the inside. I got a 9 and I usually wear between an 8 and 8.5. They could still be a little bigger though. The narrow is perfect for my narrow foot. I wore them for a full night of dancing with no blisters.

Great for Community Theater - I bought this shoe for my 14 year old daughter who participates in community theater productions. I debated to get this shoe or go for the 2" heels. I'm glad I picked the lower heel because she is very comfortable in them. She is normally a size 6 and her foot is a little on the narrow side. The 6.5 fits perfectly.

Great Show - This is a very comfortable shoe. I can stand all day and my feet don't feel sore. It ran 1 size smaller. I always wear a size 9, but in this shoe, I had to get a 10. The width was fine for me, but I have narrow normal width. I bought two pairs, black and tan. I wish it came in more colors, like bone, brown and navy.

Dancing with the stars wannabe - Following the reviews of others, I ordered a half size up and went with a wide. It's a comfortable shoe, and it looks nice on. I think if I had to do it over again, I would have ordered 2 shoes; my regular size and also the half size up, just to compare the two. The half size up seems just a tad big, but I plan keeping these.

Very narrow shoe - Ordered a full size larger for length. Wide width did not come close to fitting a wide foot.

Falling In Love With Comfort - Yes, you need to order at least 1 size up and I thank the previous reviews. These are wonderfully comfortable you can literally dance all night and look great while doing so. I am a strictly comfortable foot woman, but with these I can thankfully have both and you can too.

The shoe is very elegant looking and fits well. I am still breaking mine in so it is a bit stiff but I have a black pair which is broken in and very comfortable.

Now I'm Ballroomin! I love these shoes they really helped me in my Ballroom lessons, especially Salsa and the Cha Cha, had more spin and the Ankle strap helped good feel, I guess they'll get more comfy with wear, I was wearing regular shoes but these really helped especially the heel and they look, cute I have the Tan but I'll be getting the black ones and the price was great, couldn't go wrong.

What an improvement on learning to dance with these shoes! I NEVER wear heels but when I began learning to dance with a partner that is over a foot taller these shoes really helped! The little bit of a heel raised my foot just enough that I no longer danced on my tippy toes, the thin leather sole made it so I could feel the ground more and it did not stick to the dance floor like many of the other shoes I tried dancing in. The style is very basic, nothing too fancy. They seemed to fit well in my size; a half size larger was far too swimmy to be comfortable. There is a bit of arch support, and overall the shoes are comfortable for dancing, no blisters, rubbing or discomfort. I am really happy I bought these shoes.

Nice shoe but... The shoe size is definitely smaller than the street size.

This shoe is a winner - I ordered my regular shoe size 5 1/2 M, but found the shoe to be a little too small and narrow. I should have paid more attention to other customer's remarks that the shoe was smaller than average and more narrow than average. I sent back the 5 1/2 M and went with a 6 W. The shoe is very comfortable. I wore them to a wedding and had no foot discomfort at all. I plan to order the shoe in another color. Thanks Zappos for making shoe shopping so easy.

Sexy, fun, practical. These Jr. Footlights were my first Capezio shoe. I bought them to transition from a decade of 4" heels into something more sensible. I first wore them on a 13 hour shift and was on my feet the whole time. And these babies felt good as gold, right out of the box, for a whole 10 hours!During the last three hours, my toes were pinched, but they have stretched slightly in the last 3 weeks, and I am wearing them all day and walking all over town. I get many compliments on this classic low heel. Sexy, fun, practical. NOTE: Buy a half size up for the perfect fit.

Break them in - When you first start wearing they seem a size too small, however if you walk around in them for about two days they get broken in and will feel just fine. However I bought them wide for additional comfort. However they fit like a dream. I had to wear them for two days to break them in though.

New To Dancing - I've been taking dance classes for a month with my husband wearing my regular dress shoes. After receiving these shoes and wearing them to dance class I knew I found what I was looking for. Fantastic feel. I ordered a 1/2 size up for room in the toes. I'm also very happy about the fact that there are larger sizes for women, many places I go only carry up to sized 10. I bought these in an 11 1/2. Highly recommended.

Great for the theatre! I purchased this shoe for my 11 year old for the theatre. She is in 4-6 shows a year and was in the need of a character shoe. We were very happy with the shoe. We needed to order it 1/2 size larger than she normally wears. She was wearing a children's size 3.5 and we purchased a women's 6 which fit great. The 5.5 was a little small. Zappos handled the return with A+ service and convenience. This shoe was super because the heel height was perfect for a preteen. She loved this shoe so much she wore it with skirts and dresses to school and for church. When we went on a cruise she took it to change into after dinner for dancing. It was really comfortable. The shoe still looks like new. I did have to stitch the elastic that holds the buckle when the shoe was about 9 months old. Not too bad for all the wear! Now I am back one year later ordering the Capezio Student Footlights because she wants a slightly higher heel and her feet have grown 1/2 size. Zappos is a great company. We have ordered dance sneakers and wedding shoes with complete satisfaction. I have recommended them to so many people. The return policy is fantastic!

The best shoes ever! I've worn these shoes before and they were just as comfortable now as then. I bought a size larger and they were a perfect fit. I will absolutely buy more, as these are the most comfortable shoes on earth!! Thanks.

Buy a large size - The previous reviews are correct, this shoe runs a full size small. Don't be vain like I was, go ahead and purchase the LARGER size. Normally I can fit a 9N but had to go with the 10N. Other than that, it fits well, and feels great. Wonderful shoe to dance the night away in.

width - The shoes are very nice but to narrow even though I ordered wide width, I have spent 10.00 to have them stretched.I wear size 5 or 51/2 wide and these were way to narrow. Thanks Marily Kub

Capezio Jr. Footlight - Very good beginning tango practice shoe. Bought 1/2 size larger than regular shoe size and it fits well. Does not have much cushioning, a gel insert helps a lot. A good shoe for a low price.

good basic shoe for tap.... Just be sure you have a place lined up to put the taps on.....and go a whole size up. Otherwise, these feel so good even after my first class....and great service as always from Zappos!
