I read all the reviews and could not decide to order my usual nine or 9 1/2 and the 9 1/2 was perfect. Glad I listen to the majority of people. I gave it one star for style because they are kind of dorky looking but needed them for dancing school. Super comfortable for dancing all night. I can’t imagine wearing them as street shoes as tllhe soles are quite delicate. Seems very much an indoor dance shoe to me.

Need a whole size larger. Can't wait to get the right size.

These are my daughter's first character shoes & they are working perfectly for her! No complaints & she's been wearing them for over a month.

My daughter wears these for dance class, has performed in them and they've lasted for forever and she says they're very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Good character shoe. Soft footbed. Strap to keep them on your feet while dancing. Low heel. Runs very narrow (it is the only shoe I've ever owned that I need a Wide size.) I wore my street size in the older version of this shoe (which admittedly was more than a few years old) but had to order a size down in this version. This version also has a little padding at the arch for support (my arches are high enough that it wasn't very noticeable but if you have flat or normal arches it may be helpful).

Have bunion will dance! I was looking for comfortable shoes to wear to a wedding with a long gown. There will be a lot of dancing. These shoes will do the trick. They are so comfortable, soft to allow for room for the bunion and the toe cage is roomy. Nice arch support as well and just the right height. They are slippery so dancing will be easy. I bought some shoe embellishment I plan to attach to the shoe to make them look more stylish.

Beautiful, comfortable shoes. Purchased for singing on stage, not dancing. Low heel height gives great stability.

Order a size up and wide! Bought these for my daughter who wears a women's 8 or 8.5 regular width shoe. After reading the reviews that said to order a size up and wide, I did. Bought the 9W and 9.5W and the 9.5W fit her perfectly. Now we're off to the theater!!

Good shoes for dancing, or at least for me, who is a beginning ballroom dancer. It's a pretty typical character/dancing shoe so they aren't exactly the most stylish, but they are neutral and sort of "disappear" especially if wearing black tights, etc. Comfortable right out of the box (even for my slightly wider toe box + narrow heel foot). Has nice flexibility without too much gaping and the insole has a nice softness to it. Sole is definitely very slick, however, so just be careful if the floor is very slippery.

I am 74 years old and need a not so tall, wide heel. These shoes are perfect and at a very reasonable price. Shipping was free and fast. I love the service!

Bought this shoe size 7.5 Med width for my 12 year old granddaughter who needed it for dance class. She wears size 7.5 Med width and this fit her well. I tried them on and they were tight across the width of my foot. I normally wear size 7.5 Wide so these seemed to run true to size. If you wear wide shoes, buy the wide width.

These are not Street shoes! They are not sized as street shoes either. These are character dance shoes and they are sized smaller. I have very narrow feet, I generally wear a 8N in dress shoes, sometimes a 7M in Clarks. I ordered a 9N for International Convention and was very pleased after struggling with my toes sliding down in a 8M, Width is key for me because my arch on my left foot really does measure as an 9 but whole foot as a 8. I has used these shoes for as long as I can remember doing choreography and sing with Sweet Adeline's! We have them in tan and black. Let me tell you this as the week goes by our feet swell do I use a insole for semifinals and take out the insole for finals! They only way to survive dancing is wearing the correct size, once you find your perfect size order more!These are intended for Dance use not walking. From Zappos you can always order two sizes and return the one that is not right for you! I add a gel arch support from Dr Scholl's.

I am in love with these shoes! They are extremely comfortable. I am not a dancer but love the look of this shoe. I wish I could wear a higher heel but I am unable to so these are fine for me. I can wear them for hours and go dancing.

The shoe fits my daughter with comfort and will be perfect for her dance recital. The price was better than another site and shipping was free.

There is lots of room around the toes, they are lightweight and easy to walk in with a cool, slightly retro look. But order half a size up! I normally wear 8 and the 8½ fits perfectly.

These are lovely shoes. I ordered both a wide 9-1/2 and a medium 10 to see what worked better. The wide 9-1/2 worked. If sizing up, consider the width first.

shoes are great, perfect fit, soft and I can actually stand in them for 6 hrs without dying from sore feet. Delivery was quick and packaged very well..Slightly more than other sites, but quality of shoe and Zappos quick delivery makes them well worth it.
