Moderate pronation?? This new shoe that I have been wearing for two weeks now, has completely eliminated my aching toes,bunions, ankles, knees and hips. I stand on concrete all day and on a rubber mat. They are also the MOST comfortable shoes I have ever worn. For the last two years I have ordered and worn, Saucony's but these Brooks are far better for MY particular anatomical challenges. Today I will order my second pair so I can alternate these wonderful "lifesavers." It is so awesome to be free of pain when I come home. Also I must mention that Zappo's is the best of the best, Internet shoe company. In every way, they are the most professional and I am so proud of them. As a customer service specialist, I highly recommend them for anything they may offer. You cannot go wrong with this company. I am so proud of them. And "no" I have not been paid to say any of this. Just a grateful and appreciative customer of a fine company.

Most comfortable and stable. An excellent shoe. I finally found the best shoe for fit, comfort, stability and style. The price is excellent for the quality too.

Great shoe - I have a lot of trouble with my feet and had worn Mephisto's Holidays for a number of years. When those were discontinued I looked for something to replace them. I actually bought my first pair of Addiction Walkers from a walking store but for me it was easier to order on line. I love the shoes and so do my feet!!!

Brooks Addiction Walker great - I am on my feet all day and these shoes are wonderful. My feet don't get so tired. I love them.

Love these shoes - These are the best feeling tennis shoes I have owned.

Fit well right off - I hike every Saturday for about three hours. I wear shoes out in about a year. These are first ones of this brand that I have tried. So far very happy with them. They didn't cause blisters even the first day I wore them.

Brooks best for 'full-footed' females - I am a 'full-footed' female (2EE if I can find it). I was having pain in my arches and went to a specialty shoe store serving people with arch, diabetes, and other special foot needs. They introduced me to Brooks Addiction Walker, as it has a deeper "box" for the ball of the foot and has good arch support. Brooks Addiction Walker has a roomy "box" and is wonderful for us full-footed femailes. My doctor, the running store and the specialty shoe store recommended that I buy 'over the counter' orthotics and replace the inner liner with them. A good pair of these cost $24.00. My feet and arches are in heaven now. When I buy athletic shoes, Brooks is my brand. Last July, I decided to search online for the best deal and found Zappos. Now I'm not only pleased by the wonderful Brooks shoes, but also with the great service and prices at Zappos. This is not a paid advertisement...

I was excited to receive this shoe so quickly from Zappos (always great service) but found they need LOTS of breaking in. I've worn the shoes quite a lot and still have toe pinching where the seams join on the sides. Overall, pretty good ---- leather hopefully will give over time so I'll keep trying.

Happy Feet (and toes) These Brooks Addiction Walkers are great! True to size, yet wide enough to actually wiggle your toes! Also, they're great shock absorbers...I walked over 3 miles yesterday, and had not one aching leg or throbbing knee! I've had many a walking shoe, and Brooks is by far the best I've ever purchased.

Comfortable shoes! I bought these shoes in a size 8 instead of the 7.5 I normally wear, and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable shoes, no break-in period necessary. The only thing I don't like about these shoes is that they don't have good traction on wet surfaces.

I purchased three pairs of this shoe. One was a perfect fit; one was a bit tight, but ok; one pair was at least one size smaller than marked and was very narrow. Everyone I spoke with loves this shoe, but it will run from marginally small to much smaller than marked.

Excellent support for over-pronation. A little stiff, yes, but I need that for proper correction and motion control. I purchased it in black because I need to wear it even for dress occasions - probably even for my daughter's wedding. It manages to do what it needs to do without looking overly orthopedic. Thank you Zappos for letting me try TEN pairs of shoes before I found the right one. And thank you Brooks for making it true to size. (I tried three sizes in one brand I thought might work and, when I finally did have the right size, discovered that it wouldn't suit after all.)

I like these shoes, however, they have taken a little longer to break in then I thought they would. After reading comments from other customers, I thought there would be little break-in period. I do like the support they give me and I have noticed that the places on my feet that were getting calluses don't seem to bother me at all now. Overall, I have really been very pleased with these shoes and will probably purchase them or something comparable in the future.

Walking shoe - Seriously considered this shoe for a planned London trip that would include a lot of walking. However, the fit just wasn't 100% on my foot. I chose the Saucony Progrid Stabil walking shoe instead. The Brooks Addiction Walker has good cushioning and good arch support, but the unquestionable perfect fit of the Saucony Progrid Stabil led me to purchase them instead. The Brooks Addiction Walker would still be a good walking shoe choice. I do love the fit and performance of Brooks Addiction 7 running shoe.

Great Support - I ordered this shoe as I needed something to wear with my black slacks to work. After having knee replacement surgery it was essential to have extra support. I have another pair of Brooks athletic shoes for strong arch support and these do the same. They are a little stiff at first but with more times on my feet they are becoming more comfortable.

A nice, plain-looking shoe - If you don't want sneakers with whooshes and stripes and all sorts of stuff on them, these are a good choice. The shock absorption is very good in the heel; could use more in the ball of foot. The laces stay tied (hurray!). Very comfy and didn't need any breaking in.

Brooks Addiction Walker - my thoughts - I ordered the shoe because I already had had a pair and really found them very comfortable. My new ones (I ordered) did not disappoint me. I am having problems with my feet due to arthritis and bone spurs on my instep, especially my right foot is painful. I can walk with the Addiction very well, although anything that ties over my instep hurts. These do better than most. If someone knows of a more comfortable shoe, I would like to know. I am considering surgery on my right foot. The rating for the shoe is because of my problem, not the shoe. It is the most comfortable shoe I have found for my problem.

Brooks Addiction Walker - I guess I was looking for a miracle for my feet. I have no real serious complaints about the shoe other than it didn't feel as supportive as the New Balance I always have worn. It also felt very wide - I have used D width before but my feet swam in this shoe.

Healthy walking - Great support, but the tongue hits my ankles a little higher than expected. This goes away after a long walk. No blisters.

Brooks Addiction Walker - I have had great luck in the past with this shoe but I ordered this one a little bigger because my feet have changed. Unfortunately, it is too wide - I wanted a width between B and D. I'm not wearing it much at this point because of this.

Finally, I have a shoe that fits my extra wide foot! They were comfortable from the first wearing. My only complaint with this shoe is that the shoelaces are too short.

Great for narrow feet - Overall, very comfortable. If I lace them too tight, the tongue cuts into the front of my leg(?), ankle, whatever, especially on the right. That is, the tongues come up pretty high. But the shoes are comfortable even without very tight lacing. I have narrow feet with very little arch, and these are overall quite good for me.

Brooks Addiction Walker - I bought this shoe because of several reviews that mentioned how secure the heel was (my NBs slip at the heel and I was hoping to do better since I am already wearing thru the lining of that shoe at the back, after 3 mos) and how well it accommodates an orthotic. Unfortunately I found that my orthotic places my heel too high in this Brooks shoe so the heel no longer fits properly. So I'll be returning these.

Work horse shoes - Like many of you, I stand all day and have finicky feet. Although these aren't sublimely comfy, and are pretty ortho-looking, they are the best I've found yet and they feel as if they'll last a long time.

Problem feet - This shoe has plenty of room if you are looking for a shoe to accommodate an orthotic insert; the width and toe box leaves ample room for comfort. The leather is soft so not much support. Great shoe for a high instep. I wear them only during a 5mile trail walking each day but so far (first 3 weeks), they've preformed well.
