Marvelous - I would not have expected anything less. The "Brooks Walker" is a perfect fit making them very comfortable. And Zappos delivered in super time. Personally, 5 STARS across the board for the shoe and 10 STARS for Zappos!!!!!

Satisfied! I work retail and usually stand/walk for 8 hrs a day on hard floors. I have flat feet, bunions and an odd size (10.5). Today was the first day I wore them to work and for once my feet feel like I've been sitting all day!! Also my knees are pain free. Very impressed. No break in period with these shoes.

GREAT SHOE!!! These shoes are the best fitting shoe I think I have had in a long time. I also wear shoe inserts, and these shoes by far are designed to where my shoe inserts do not feel like they are sitting "high" in the shoe. I also have had reconstructed surgery on a tendon and new shoes tend to hurt my feet somewhat until broken in. These shoes never did. I had ordered me some New Balance Shoes at the same time of these, (Same size/type (10.5 Wide) and those were not anything like these). The New Balance shoe was not true to size (larger) and the width was too wide even though I order Wide width. The New Balance shoe was also very large looking in the toe area. ZAPPOS IS ALSO THE BEST WEBSITE I HAVE EVER FOUND RE: CUSTOMER SERVICE. They actually called me to tell me there was a delay in shipping due to some type of problem scanning the order. HOW MANY COMPANIES WOULD DO THAT. I ordered the shoes, and in 2 days I had them. Returns are WONDERFUL. ABSOLUTELY BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THANK YOU ZAPPOS. KEEP UP THE GREAT SERVICE!

Love these shoes - I had always worn running-cross trainer shoes but decided to try a pair of walking shoes. I walk my dogs 2 hours a day and LOVE these shoes. Plus they come in wide widths so I can actually get the exact size I need instead of getting a larger shoe to accommodate my wide toe box. Stiff at first but after 2 walks they were very supportive and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Second pair I bought - I purchased a paid of these in September of 2005; I wore them almost every day. I just bought my next pair of the exact same kind because they fit very well, are comfortable and fit my feet 12aa.

This is one great shoe! Having nerve damage in the bottom of my feet due to 30+ years of diabetes and working many years on my feet for 8 to 12 hours a day, my feet have suffered a great deal. I have bought so many pairs of shoes trying to find one that keeps my feet from hurting and just end up giving them away. I had never heard of this brand before and after reading all of the reviews I decided to give them a try. They are the most comfortable shoe that I have ever tried to work in. I wore them around the house when they first arrived and was impressed,but when I wore them to work I was amazed. My feet did not bother me or hurt at all the entire night or even when I got home. This is one great shoe!

Excellent walking shoe - I can wear these and not feel the least bit of discomfort. I did not need to break in, in order to feel comfortable.

Great walking shoe! Brooks walking shoes are wonderful! I can wear them everywhere. I got 2 pairs because they fit so well and are comfortable. I have a small foot and it’s hard to find shoes that fit as well as these. I also got them cheaper at Zappos than at another retailer.

Walking on water! These was my first Brooks pair of shoes. I have heel spurs and weak knees. These walking shoes, as opposite any others, allowed me to walk for hours without pain and I don't even have to insert any insoles. It provides plenty stability. I don't feel pain on my feet nor on my back or knees after my 90 minute walks on the weekends. I totally recommend these shoes for the comfort and support offered are excellent. They felt wider than marked, but I must say that I have narrow feet. I just order my second pair of Brooks shoes - Ariel 3 for women. Tried at the store and ordered on line (no sales tax, yeah, babe!). They felt very comfortable - I can't wait to get them.

Brooks Addiction Walker Review - These are the most comfortable work shoes I've ever owned. I've been a letter carrier for 25 yr. & have heel spurs. These shoes have removable inserts. I'm able to place my orthotics in the shoes, followed by the inserts & still have plenty of room . They are absolutely wonderful. I recently purchased a pair of New Balance 811's & these are even better than those, in my opinion.

Pleasantly surprised - I take a wide size and have not been really happy with most of the shoes that I have. These shoes were a pleasant surprise because as soon as I put them on I realized that my problem was that I need more support than I have been used to getting with the running and walking shoes that are pretty much the only shoes I can wear. This shoe seems to be designed on a straight last, and has a firmer feel of support. Also, the leather looks a little nicer than other walking shoes.

Excellent support and comfort - These shoes are a bargain, more comfortable than my expensive orthotics.

This shoe is wonderful - Couldn’t believe that I had relief from foot pain and improved gait with this shoe right away. What a great product.

Walk in style with your Brook's Addiction Walker! Great looking shoe and I really like the color. It's a little tight at first but eventually it stretches to a good fit. My Brook's Addiction Walker will last a year. I wear them everyday.

Brooks Addiction Walker - This shoe was recommended by my podiatrist. I have found it to be an excellent shoe for me. The support it provides my feet has improved my ability to stand/walk for longer periods of time. I just wish it came in colors other than black and white.

Great comfort, just what I was looking for. I bought these for a trip to Santa Fe NM, which would involve a lot of walking. My purchase arrived quickly - as usual, Zappos' delivery service is impeccable - and wore these every other day. We even went hiking for 4 hours straight, and these shoes performed beautifully.

Brooks Addiction Walker - This is probably the most stable shoe available. Works great with Alznner arches.

Great Shoe - Have worn Brooks walking shoes before as this is the shoe that my podiatrist recommended as my feet tend to roll to the side as I walk. The original pair I purchased was the Addiction style prior to this style. Then they changed to this style. On this style I had to go up one half size larger to get the correct fit. Have tried other walking shoes and they do not compare to Brooks. Brooks is a very comfortable shoe, gives great support and has helped in my rolling to the side as I walk. Would definitely recommend this shoe.

The most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. Almost four years ago, I suffered a terrible injury. I fell out of a window and landed on the left foot heel. The heel (calcaneus)was shattered, I also suffered a fractured ankle. It never healed properly due to many complications I won't bore you with. I have not been to find a comfortable shoe to walk in since then. I had spent hundreds of dollars elsewhere buying shoes and I was still very uncomfortable. Finally, my son in law told me about Zappos. I ordered The Brooks Addiction Walker. I can't praise this shoe enough. I have been able to walk with my daughter shopping for these holidays without pain. They are comfortable and easy to wear, not heavy. I ordered the Double Wide so my ankle bone would not rub against the side of the shoe and irritate the area. Due to the fact that I have a plate and screws in the area, and I can't stand for very long in one place, I have to constantly be moving the weight off the foot by walking around. This shoe is perfect for me. It is better than the Orthodic shoes that were made for me after the injury. I gave those other shoes away after I bought the Addiction Walker. I hope this testimonial will help other women that may be in need of a good walking shoe that's comfortable, light weight, good quality and more reasonably priced than any of the shoes I purchased after my injury. This includes the athletic shoes I bought at another store this past April. I have given away all those shoes. I am so grateful I found Zappos and that I finally found Wide shoes as to support and protect my injury! You CANNOT find wide shoes in local stores… anywhere. Zappos is the only place I know of, that has wide and double wide shoes and at the most reasonable prices. You don't pay anymore for the wider sizes. I will continue to purchase with Zappos from now on. I am the type of person that, once I find a store that carries what I need all the time, I don't go elsewhere. The Brooks Addiction Walker shoes have been a blessing to me. I hope they will be for someone else.

Great shoe - Both of my feet pronate badly creating Morton's Neuromas which are horribly painful. My foot doctor suggested these shoes in addition to custom made orthotics. While waiting for my orthotics to be made, I began wearing these shoes and they helped almost immediately. Am still waiting for the orthotics. Thanks for getting the shoes to me so fast!

Pleasantly surprised - I was really surprised at the comfort and support of the shoe. I plan to order another pair the next chance I get. It is true to size and not bad looking. I only wish that the shoe strings were a little longer...What a great shoe!!

Brooks Addiction Walkers - I love these shoes. They are the only shoes that I buy as they accommodate my orthotics and they are very comfortable and supportive. I’m a "pronator" so these shoes help keep my feet aligned. They are not stylish or "cute", but when you spend hours on your feet, cute doesn't matter at the end of the day!

Great shoe for problem feet - I am very happy with this shoe. I've been wearing it about 3 weeks now, and don't have any problems. It accommodates my bunion nicely. It is a very sturdy, supportive shoe, but doesn't feel too heavy. The tongue does come right up against the front of my ankle as a previous reviewer noted, but it no longer bothers me. I ordered in wide, and it's perfect. Recommended!

Great shoes! I'm pleased with this shoe. They are comfortable and look better than I thought they would. I got them in white and black. I'm so glad to find a place to buy shoes in my size. Stores don't have my size. I've got a lot of foot problems. Zappos is like going to the candy store!

Walking shoe - The shoes are well made. I have plantar fasciitis and these are pretty comfortable. They are roomy enough for orthodics which I must wear and they have plenty of room in the toe box. I have a long, slender foot with a high arch and am hard to fit. These are great!
