This is a replacement of a previous Keen purchase. I had the sandals for years. I wore them through a lot. Salt and fresh water. No special treatment.

Never thought I would like these type of sandal but they are great

These are the 3rd pair I have ordered for my husband through the years.

I thought the sandals are a quality product(does Bean sell anything but quality?) at a fair price. Comfortable, sturdy and well constructed. Keep up the great work Bean! Oh, if I didn't care for them the return policy is ridiculously simple.

Comfortable and sturdy. Closed toe protects feet. Run a bit large so err on the smaller size if you're borderline. Great traction water is no issue.

Absolutely outstanding in fit, comfort and workmanship. A bit expensive but worth every penny.

Hubby can't live without these. He has worn them for years. Trashes one pair by wearing them year round and squashing the heel. I can't believe they last as long as they do due to his abuse of themm.

My husband is very particular about what he wears on his feet. However, these sandal/shoes are a perfect fit. He finds them to be very comfortable, light weight, not tight but not loose either. His foot does not slide in the shoe at all but there is a cozy relaxed fit which makes them very easy to wear. He has worn them almost every day since he got them. Would happily buy them again. Thanks for a great product.

Great Sandal fits true to size this is my second pair and the first one is about six years old

I'm not a fan of sandals, but these seemed to be a good compromise for a more airy feel for summer. I like the Keen hiking shoes I have so gave these a try. They are sturdy and I like the closed toe, would not have bought them without that design. The bands across the feet and heel are pretty tight. This provides a solid feel, but requires more work to get your feet all the way in with the heel strap around then you may be used to for a sandal. I wore them for a half hour stroll without socks to see if they would rub through skin at any friction points. I did wear off 1/4" spot of skin on the top outside of my big toe, but that is more due to the little ridge of arthritis I have developed there. The other foot experienced no sore points. I did also try them with some thin crew socks and that worked well. I don't like the feel of any shoes without socks but again that's just me, no matter that my daughters make fun of me and prefer no socks. I was a little concerned they only came in medium width as I usually take a wide or EE with other shoes, but there is no problem with these Keens. I would recommend them, and if you're a bit sketchy about the durability or lack of protection of sandals these are a good solution.

I've worn through 2 pair over the past 20 years. Here's hoping Keen doesn't "improve" them as time goes on. For me they're the Bean boot of sandals.
