I've worn a single pair of Keen Newport sandals since 2006. The insoles provide real support. As an avid boater and fisherman, I've waded in them in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, Chesapeake Bay and in many lakes and streams around the USA. Along the way I've even had the soles reattached once. They are grossly stretched, but they are still not worn out! This new pair may be the last pair of sandals that I ever own.

Great shoes. Should work well in Costa Rica this month with the start of the rainy season.

Have been wearing a pair of these since they first came out, they just fit me so well and they are remarkably sturdy, secure, and protective while while still having all the positive attributes of a sandal except they are much more supportive. For me actually a great walking shoe. I just add wool socks in the shoulder seasons and keep on trucking. I hope they never change - I buy a pair every two years. Even with daily use they generally last me that long, and then the old pair becomes the "work pair".

Loving these sandals, super comfy, even with socks when chilly out. Really appreciate the closed toe protection and opens sides that make these a real 3-Season fit.

My husband says these are the most comfortable sandles he's ever worn. The arch support is better in these than the ones we purchased several years ago from L.L.Bean.

My guy likes these sandals. I buy him a fresh pair every other summer season. He is typically clad in sneakers that are a wide width. The toe box is roomy enough for all day comfort. It is a real turn off to see a man in open toe sandals. Do us all a favor guys, get the full coverage!
