New Balance MW 811 satisfying! This shoe is the BEST I have found for general wear and walking. I have problem heels and this shoe meets my needs very well. I wear size 12A ordinarily, and order this shoe in 12AA. My only complaints are that this shoe is not available in 121/2 AA and in color other than white.

Nice Comfy Shoe - After trying several other options, my husband settled on the NB MW811. He is diabetic with wide feet and needs to pay special attention to the fit and comfort of his shoes. These replace the NB 800 that he was wearing. Since he works on concrete floors, and stands a great deal when teaching, he needed something cushy. This fit the bill.

If I Had Only One Pair... These are just great all-purpose shoes. I'm still wearing a pair of 810s and they have been all over the world with me. Now the 811s will fill that role as the older ones getting a tad ratty. Still good for a while yet.

A good walking shoe - This feels comfotable right out of the box.

Wonder shoe - Excellent walking shoe with no break-in required. Comfortable for people on their feet for extended periods. Looking for a shoe like this for some time.

Great shoe for work! I've been wearing New Balance sneakers (brown and black) to work for the past few years because I needed the support they give. I've finally found a shoe that feels comfortable all day on concrete floors. I've worn the brown MW811 for the past two months and liked it so much that I added the black version.

Comfortable shoe - Good fit and comfortable - was what I expected

Good Shoe for Big Feet - I was pleasantly surprised by these. First, these have been one of the few shoes advertised as 6E that actually felt like it. The second surprise was that they were "Made in USA." One reason I used to like New Balance was that all their shoes used to be made in the US. The other plus for these is that they are quite light in weight. The style is a bit stodgy but this makes them okay for work. The shoe could definitely use a new sole that was flexible rather than the "unibody" construction. Overall, great shoes.

Good work shoe - Shoe is wide enough for my wide feet without it being too long, but it could be wider...

Excellent shoe - I'm a heavy set tall guy and needed an extra wide shoe. These shoes fit great and have improved my gait tremendously.

So comfortable - I finally ordered the right size - 12 extra wide and walked all over Sante Fe and Albuquerque, NM without any pain! Look great too.

No more hurting feet - I can really say my feet don't hurt any more when I get up. I love these shoes.

New Balance comes to the rescue - I have Arthritis in both of my feet. I had to have shoes made because my feet are very wide and my toes curl under. This meant I also needed extra depth shoes. The cost for the shoes was over $500.00 a pair. I tried New Balance shoes and I was amazed how well they fit and how comfortable they are. Thank you Zappos!!!

Easy Walking - I put on a pair of MW811 shoes in a different color, when I was at the NB factory store. They fit me good. The SL2 last is narrow in the heel and has more room in the toe. NB fit system works for me.

Total satisfaction - I'm on my feet a good deal of the day and have gone through at least a dozen different styles of so called "comfortable shoes" in the last few years. I feel like I've finally found a manufacturer who got it right- the right fit thru the arch, right width, stability, and above all, a lightweight shoe that can be worn all day. It's as plain looking as they come, but it does the job really well.

Everything I wanted. No leather, made in USA and very comfortable. All the good stuff in a good looking shoe. They seem a little narrower that a 6e should be but still in the range. If you want to support the USA and non violence to animals, and get a great shoe, this is the one.

They are GREAT!!! I have a VERY wide foot. There are only a few companies I can find shoes that not only fit, but also are comfortable walking on cement floors. This is the 4th or 5th pair of these shoes I have purchased from Zappos. The first pair was not wide enough. However, when I contacted the people at Zappos, they asked me extremely specific questions that enabled them to determine exactly what width shoe I needed. Without a problem, they exchanged the one pair of shoes for the correct sized shoe. Since then, I just order the same size and width shoe and NEVER have any problems.

Best walker I've ever had - I have been wearing NB shoes for many years and just switched from a cross trainer to a walker - I am 72 years young. My feet are flat on top although my arch is normal.

Unusual Need Satisfied by the MW811 - I love the New Balance line, but I had a special need. I suffered from a neuropathy (nerve) problem in my right foot. This problem is extremely painful and I couldn't walk without a custom made "boot" for support. The boot however had to fit into a shoe. All I wear is New Balance and my normal size is 11D. So I called the people at Zappos and told them I needed an 11 6E for my right foot. This was a Friday. Soon After I had the MW811's and although I had to buy both right and left, the right fit like a glove over the support boot and I have been walking without pain ever since. Great athletic shoe, even greater company!

Very much liked them - I got the 2AA width, which is my size, but they were much wider than that. However, overall, I do like them - VERY MUCH! I have over-supination and the embedded balance bar gives me a great deal of assistance in correcting for that.

Good Service - Fit, looked and felt just as I expected. I ordered here because a "Narrow" or B width is hard to find. They arrived much faster than I had expected. It was good service.

The perfect traveling shoe - I just ordered a pair of New Balance MW 881 for a two-week trip to China. This shoe was so comfortable for walking, climbing the Great Wall and going to classical concerts with paired with slacks that I did not even wear the pair of Eccos I took "for dress". I have foot problems and wore orthotics in the 811 s. The wide width was roomy enough for the orthotics and the cushion sole and inner sole were just great. These are my one pair travel shoes from now on.

Sneakers - Call them walking shoes, athletic shoes, sneakers, whatever, once again Zappos came through with just what I needed. Thanks!!

Great shoes for a difficult fit! I am on my feet several hours of the day and have a difficult time finding shoes in 14N that are comfortable. As a result of surgery, I still have to use a gel insert. Regardless, New Balance is the best shoe for me and every pair I've purchased has always held up well. Zappos provides the best service and I no longer have to hunt to find shoes that will fit me.
