The feel while walking is great as well as the fit. I have very wide feet and it's hard for me to find shoes that fit well. This shoe does a great job. It's very lite while supporting.

Multifaceted Solution - I have used this new shoe for 2-3 weeks now and I am very happy with my choice. I have an Achilles Heel problem (tendonitis?) and was told to wear a good supportive shoe. The MW811 was the best all around product I could find through days of research based on excellent: overall support, comfort. Arch, appearance, cost/value, quality and versatility. My foot/ankle problem is greatly lessened, I use the shoe for walking, biking (touring) and elliptical workouts. The shoe's appearance is simple. Clean and durable so I can wear it for exercise as well as casual. It lacks all of the jazzy, garish graphic colors and shapes that the majority of athletic footwear has today . . . a turnoff for me. Most importantly, the rear end of the shoe does not rise up high enough to rub the Achilles area, a big plus for this specific model. I'm very satisfied with this shoe. My only wish is that New Balance offered it in a slightly darker shade.

Excellent Work Shoe - Excellent shoe for someone who works on their feet.

A comfortable shoe - My husband has a terrible time getting a comfortable shoe to fit unless he orders it in a shoe store and has very little selection. He was excited to find your web page and really likes his new shoes.

Just what I was looking for. The New Balance MW811 was just the shoe I was looking for. It feels like a tennis shoe but has the appearance of a work shoe. The shoe is comfortable and I'm very satisfied.

Happy Hubby - I finally found a shoe that my husband can wear all day and not complain!! He is on his feet most of the day and tells me these are the most comfortable shoes he has worn for work.

Excellent shoe - I walk four miles every day wearing these shoes with my loyal dog companion Rico Suave, a Volpino. (I installed gel foot pads for additional comfort. A personal preference) I have never worn a better walking shoe for pounding the pavement. I wear them for travel too and these shoes look great with blue jeans. There was no "break in". The larger toe box in this product is essential for long distance walking comfort. You just won't find a better walking shoe and I have tried several other products.

I ordered two sizes 9.5M and 9EE. The 9EE fit perfectly because of my wide feet. Now I'm on my feet all day without pain. Wish I discovered them earlier. Shoe looks great and I'm able to wear it with my uniform (only because my hem line drops down to my heel). They do stretch though. So I just adjust the shoe strings. I wouldn't been comfortable in any other size. Returns are great & EASY. Customer Support was very kind. I ordered item at 2:30pm Est Thursday. Arrived 2pm Est Friday. Amazing!!

Great sneaker - What is the best about this sneaker is that it comes in such a variety of wide widths. I've been searching for a sneaker for my husband with wide width for a while and these fit him.

Walking shoes are great - We started a walking program at work so I decided to try these NB Walking shoes. These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had on. Their cushioning is fantastic, and they really soak up the shocks with each step.

Great relief - I have severe Diabetic Neuropathy and with it comes enormous foot pain and swelling and loss of balance. The New Balance walkers with the extreme width give me the room I need to tighten or loosen the laces for the most comfort when my feet are swollen or not. The structure also helps restore some degree of balance loss from this incurable disease that hundreds of thousands with diabetes suffer from. Nothing can solve the problem but these shoes sure help.

Perfect for me! This is a "must get" shoe if you do a lot of walking, sightseeing, shopping etc. Fits very well and is very lightweight.

True Comfort - This shoe was recommended to me and I am glad to have purchased my first pair of made in the U.S.A. (not China, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.) white, 13D. Although my new shoes were comfortable, they were just a "tiny bit" snug as received from the factory, so to speak. But, after wearing them for a short period of time, the shoes began to stretch slightly and they are just "the best." I am buying my second pair---in brown so I may wear them fall, winter and spring without looking out of season. The only minor drawback is the fact their "look" is one of an athletic shoe and not more of a traditional, casual, dress shoe. With that said, I'm very, very, happy wearing them.

New Balance MW811 - Stylish, comfy--great for dress or casual--and surprisingly lightweight.

My miracle shoes - I wear AFO's and these are the only shoes I can wear. I have a neuromuscular disease called CMT for short. The doctor said he hopes to keep me on my feet another ten years, so please keep making these shoes. They are comfortable and the braces fit in them. They support my feet very well.

I walk a couple miles almost everyday. I am now on my second pair of these just to have another color. This is the most comfortable walker I've ever owned. In brown and black I wear them with business slacks and can pad around the office or go out for casual dinners.

NB MW811 - These shoes have excellent support. They are true to size and width also. Great shoes for heavy duty walking.

Great supportive business casual shoe - These are very comfortable, supportive work / business casual shoes, incorporating the motion control & stability features that have given NB's running shoes their excellent reputation. I was skeptical at first about the synthetic upper, though I am happy to report that my pair (brown) looks good and so far has held up very well. I would recommend these over the Brooks Synergy 2 (my last pair), as they're just as supportive, more durable, and cost $20 less.

2EE 811 - from David Stoner - I just had a Ceilectomy procedure on both great toes (Hallux Rigidus...removal of bone spurs from all the running and walking I've faithfully done over 55 years). The podiatrist prescribed orthotics to correct any biomechanical problems I still might have. I knew fitting the new shoes with orthotics might be tricky. I first ordered three pairs: the MW 811, MW 926 and the MW 659 all in a 9.5 Medium (I have worn Mediums all my life). The 659 fit comfortably and accommodated the orthotics nicely. But for whatever reason, the 811s and the 926s were very tight. I requested returns on the 811s and the 926s immediately and twenty four hours later the new 811s and 926s (9.5 2EE) were at my door. They fit GREAT with my orthotics in. Zappos is sending a return label in the mail for the my original purchase. Zappos is great for customer satisfaction.

Extra wide comfort - My son has cerebral palsy and as a result splayed feet and a need for extra-wide shoes with a boxy toe. This shoe was recommended by a physical therapist and has offered significant relief from foot pain.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He loves them. Very comfortable and "dressy" enough to wear to work. As usual Zappos provided excellent service.

Shoes Shine - Received my New Balance MW811s the DAY AFTER I ORDERED THEM, can you believe it? They arrived in beautiful condition and fit perfectly. They were exactly what I was looking for and the service can't be beat. You can bet I'll be placing future orders with you. Keep up the great work!

The number one shoe store - I've bought all my shoes at Zappos for the last 3 years. I have tendon problems with a lot of foot pain. The only shoe the Podriatist will allow me to wear is New Balance with a number above 800. I have found the 811 to be the best fit especially with the roll bar to keep my feet from turning. No shoe store has better selection or customer service than Zappos. I have recommended this site to all my family and some of them are now buying their shoes from your store as well. I will shop with you for all my shoes. I did notice you now have a store in the Louisville area and will stop by the store next time I am in that area.

Wonderful - Zappos goes above and beyond in customer service!!! Friendly people who work hard to fulfill an order. I ordered these shoes late at night on Dec 19 which was much past the 3pm Pacific Time for next day delivery. To my very happy surprise, the UPS driver delivered them late the next day. I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes to wear to the Opryland Hotel with my grandchildren and these certainly fit the bill. I put them on and they didn't need any breaking in. I was able to keep up with my 3-yr-old granddaughter and watch her awe at all of the decorations. Zappos helped me do that. The shoes fit as stated. My foot has elongated and I need extra width at the toe box to handle support hose with a seam at the side. These shoes were perfect. They also had a bit higher heel than regular tennis shoes and I need that also (helps the transition from heels to tennis shoes).
