The 6E is NARROWER than the old 5E - I have very wide feet and HATE shoe shopping because everything was too narrow. I always used to buy the New Balance 853 5Es and they were perfect out of the box. However, discontinued the 853s and the entire 5E line. I ordered these in the 6E size and IMMEDIATELY sent them back. If you have wide feet, you can forget about New Balance.

New Balance's MW811 - Uncomfortable. No support. 2 thumbs down!!

Very Disappointed with this shoe - I was glad to finally find a shoe wide enough for my feet (6E) and had great hopes. It turned out to have inadequate cushioning and adding insoles didn't help. Moreover after 5 months of daily wear it began to totally disintegrate. Disappointing for an expensive shoe.

New Balance 811 vs 925 - Usually I buy the 925 New Balance because it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I purchased the 811 because of the better appearance. After the first day of wearing, I found this was a big mistake, the were very hot and no support at all compared to the 925`s and for the price difference and comfort pay a few dollars more and get the best.

811 - Over-priced,810, which I had to go elsewhwre for is way more Comfortable, and good luck with the size/width.
