Great shoe - A great shoe for my wide feet (6E). Excellent walker, fit true to size. Available in white w/o all the racing strips. An adult shoe with good support. I will probably buy them as long as they make them. HAVING SAID THAT, some areas for improvement, for my feet, they can get a bit hot at times. As noted by another reviewer - if you get them significantly wet and they are not dried quickly, they will take on a bad smell - and it will NOT go away. I've been wearing them for a while, and did not realize why a couple of pairs of these go smelly, when none of my other shoes ever did - and when I read the other person's review, realized the cause of the problem. BUT, otherwise very good.

New Balance mw811 is a-okay - One of the few walkers which fit correctly.

Good Shoe, but... This is a good shoe, but there are better ones. For the last several years my primary daily shoe has been the New Balance 925 and it’s successor the 926. I should have stuck with what I knew. First the arch support is not complete. It has good (not excellent) arch support on the inside of the shoe, but not on the outside. It feels like your feet are sliding to the outside. To the shoe’s defense, it could be related to the next problem. It runs a little wide. If you are like me with a food that is right between width sizes, go to the smaller width. I was able to alleviate both problems somewhat with inserts. The shoe does walk well both in a large building and on the street. The shoe is also cooler on the feet then the 925/926 shoes.

Latest Zappos purchase - I expected a better fit. Incidentally, the laces are way too long on all of the shoes that I have purchased.

Not a bad looking shoe - I received these shoes while at work and tried them on when I came home (best time to try on new shoes). I immediately felt comfort in the arch and the overall feel of the shoe. One problem, the size 8 felt a little loose. I have plantar fasciitis and really look forward to finding a comfortable shoe, but unfortunately this one didn't come in a smaller size. I don't think this shoe would accommodate orthotics because it would probably feel shallow. Purchase a size up and down and send one back to save some time.

New Balance 811 - I stand on a concrete floor 9 hours a day at work and these shoes are one of the best I have found.

Disappointing - The reviews of this shoe led me to believe it had good arch support, but if you have high arches forget this one. That being said, this is a very soft shoe without a lot of structure or support --if you have normal feet you'll probably love it. They're cuter than they look online, too. I also ended up going up half a size. As usual, Zappos is the greatest for service. Don't know what I'd do without Zappos!

Excellent shoe - I have a couple foot issues, so New Balance has been my only good choice for a number of years. This is extremely lightweight, looks good, very comfortable and gives great support. True to size and lots of toe and front of foot room, while supported well in the heel. I'm on my feet all day long. And except for my Morton's toe related problems, this shoe is excellent.

A Very Good Shoe - Shoe feels a little bigger than size would indicate. Upper looks plastic. Sole gives a very comfortable walk.

Good Shoe - This is a good comfortable walking shoe for most. In my case, it was a bit narrow. I have a very wide foot and need that bit of extra room in the toe box.

Good shoes - These shoes are comfortable. The only thing if would like in this shoe is a little more lift in the heel like brooks shoes have. This is because I have neuropthy and the doctor adds additional lift in the heels of all my shoes. This particular shoe does not allow the lift he requires. It is still a good shoe.

MW811s are comfy - The MW811s (I bought both brown and black) are comfortable shoes that look nice with dressier pants. I don't like dress shoes, so for everything except high class events these are great for me.

New Balance MW811 - The product is what I was looking for, very comfortable. Would prefer the shoe to have leather topside other than vinyl. Time will tell. I'm pretty rough on shoes.

Good daily work shoe - Good fitting comfortable shoe. Used as daily shoe for work in both an office and visiting clients and doing errands.

Great shoe but a little loose - I liked the style but the shoe is a little bit of a loose fit.

Review for a Practical Walking Shoe - I walk 5 miles/day in NYC and use orthotics. This shoe does the job well and I have no complaints but I think I'm going to order the 925 next time.

Extremely comfortable. No break in time at all. The only problem is the lack of ventilation. The shoe is not leather, although it looks like it in the picture. I have found my feet are very hot after a few hours of wear. This is not a summer shoe

Review of NB811 - Comfortable shoe with little or no break-in period. Synthetic material not as soft as leather and no breatheability causing my feet to sweat more than usual than with other shoes. Zappos service is great! Received my shoes within 2 days.

Excellent New Balance shoe, as always - Great fit. Great quality.

Not bad for plastic - I deliberately bought these because there was no leather in them. They are a pretty ugly shoe, but make up for it in comfort.

Something for guys to wear with khakis- OK- New Balance finally came to their senses. Guys need great shoes for the weekend that don't look like athletic shoes and don't "mark" you as a tourist when you're on the road. Here we have a great shoe in a neutral color that looks great with your weekend wardrobe. My only suggestion is that you add a pair of insoles to snug up the fit and replace the flat laces with round ones so you'll have a bit cleaner look. The fit is typical box/slab New Balance. The heel is a bit loose; however, the insoles will help in this area. All in all, a great pair of shoes.

Good as Rockford - They are equal to any pair of rockfords I've owned. Feel steady on my feet. Confortable to walk in.

MW811- This very comfortable walking shoe is the best non-leather (vegetarian) one that I have found. It has a well-cushioned sole and is reasonably durable. I have both a brown pair and a white pair, each of which I use for work as a finish carpenter.

new balance walking shoe - The shoes are comfortable and have a good appearance. However, they scuff easily and wear out compparatively fast.

Review of New Balance MW 811 - Good looking for a wide shoe. Perfect shoe for wearing with AFO's which are difficult to fit.
