Walking Shoes - I have purchased this type of shoe in the past and that is why I have purchased this pair of shoes. You keep going back to what works!

MW811 - Shoe is great. Fits nice. Seemed broken in as soon as I put it on. Sizing was right on the money.

Very soft and well cushioned walking shoe.

A very comfortable walking shoe - With this shoe, my feet are comfortable all day long standing on cement floors. This shoe is very roomy in the toe area… maybe a tad too much, but has plenty of cushioning and overall comfort, so I didn't mind that.

Getting another pair - I'm now ordering my third pair of NB 811s. These are the best walking shoes I've found. Since both husband and wife wear the same size, we are both pleased with the comfort.

These are fantastic shoes. The fit is incredible and the shoes are American made. They have a classic look and can be worn to semi-formal occasions.

It took me awhile to realize that New Balance shoes, for me anyway, tend to run narrow and I have a very wide foot. The solution was to move from my usual 4E to a 6E (this is also the case with Dunham shoes). I bought the 811 in a 6E and am extremely pleased with the fit, overall comfort, and great stability. I got what others have referred to as "boring" or "ugly" white, but that was to avoid the garish colors and designs that seem to dominate the athletic shoe market. Besides, with this type of shoe, comfort is more important than making a GQ fashion statement.

VERY cozy - I am on my feet a lot but suffer from plantar fasciitis. These shoes are excellent for both the office and for walking. As my wife put it, they're not the "sexiest" looking shoes. Still, the brown model goes perfectly with office attire and does the trick when I need to stroll from building to building. Awesome shoes.

Great semi-dress walking shoe - This is a shoe that is a great walker and can also pass for dress because of its shiny, finished appearance.

My Walking Shoe - I wanted a good walking shoe and the 811 is it. I always ran in New Balance running shoes but cannot run anymore due to knee problems. The 811 is simple, good looking shoe. No fancy frills. The shoe provides for great comfort when walking. The 811 offers good stability and comfort overall. In other words, it's a good shoe.

New Balance MW811 - Fit was correct and feel comfortable.

MW811 - One of the more comfortable pairs of shoes I've owned.

This order was to replace a pair I have worn almost daily for 11 months - the same size and color. I wear orthotics and find the shoe comfortable. Previously, when you ran a sale I ordered the same shoe in brown. I remove the arch and replace it with the orthotic.

A Double Header Win - Game 1: An outstandingly comfortable shoe! Game 2: Zappos service is like none I have ever received. Cannot recommend Zappos highly enough!

Fantastic as always! My wife and I have ordered several pairs of New Balance shoes from Zappos. They always have the style and size in stock, we have never been disappointed. The NB shoes are great. We are in our late 50's and both have diabetes, so our shoes and their fit are very important. We would highly recommend both New Balance shoes and Zappos.

First time since...I don't remember! Having a narrow foot (11 AA) I have found shoe shopping to be rather problematic, especially in this type of shoe. They arrived, I trial fitted one and initially thought Zappos had sent a smaller size. Nope, 11 AA on the label. Darn it, give them a try anyway. Then the reality was evident as I tied the laces. This is how good fitting shoes are supposed to feel! I had become used to wearing loose fitting casual shoes. It's going to be a good day!

MW811 - I have worn this shoe or its near variants (MW810) for many years now. They are comfortable, extremely durable, and a good value. I am particularly attracted to them because so few athletic shoes are available in an AA width.

Ahhh! Comfort! Having tried many shoes, including purchases from specialty shoe companies, these are the first I could put on my feet and wear ~ without pinching and blisters, day after day. I am most pleased!

NB's - I often have a problem with the internal stitching at the little toe, right foot. This shoe does not have the interference of so many of the shoes I have tried. They look good, too.

Fantastic - The shoes and the service I have received has been nothing less than fantastic. I have ordered shoes that have not fit properly and the no hassle of returning them speaks for itself. The sales associates are truly professional and very helpful. A real pleasure to do business with Zappos. I have told all my friends about them. No, they did not pay me to write this review.

Comfortable - True to size, comfortable shoes at a great price. Zappos is a wonderful firm to deal with. They really do stand by their policy of lowest price and fast delivery.

Good general everyday shoe. Good for shopping, work and just running around. No problems at all.

A great shoe - When I first wore this shoe, I felt as if the shoe had been made just for me! I ordered the size based on other shoes I have and was very satisfied with the fit. It is truly sized to fit. The construction of the shoe is excellent. I try to buy American-made products and was very happy with the look, feel and the material used. This shoe is worth every penny I paid.

Birthday present - I ordered these shoes for my husband for his birthday. The shoes came in a few days and were much cheaper than if I would have purchased them through a local athletic store. He loves these shoes and said they are great walking shoes. He's on his feet a lot at work and said they are comfortable. Thanks Zappos.

Cured foot and calf problems - I have had two occurrences of Plantar Fasciitis. The first lasted over six months. My orthopedic Doctor recommended a New Balance 800 shoe. Wearing this shoe for about a month cured my problem. A few years later the Plantar Fasciitis came back after wearing golf shoes. After a fall, I also had a stress facture in the heel bone. I wore an orthopedic boot for three months and then had pain and cramps in my foot and calf. I purchased the MW811 and in about a month the pain was gone.
