Great shoes and service again - My first time for the 811s but just as comfortable as the other NB walking shoes I have had.

New Balance Walking Shoes - I purchased my new shoes from Zappos and received them next day air at no charge to me. This made me very happy. The shoes are very comfortable and they are black leather with bonded soles. I haven't had any problems with my feet being sore from them. If you do a lot of walking this is the shoe you need. Also, they come up to 4-E width which is very hard to find in the stores. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and will order from Zappos again when I need shoes for myself and family.

New Balance Does it again. I have wide feet and have trouble finding comfortable shoes. But these New Balance MW811 were perfect when I put them on my feet. No pinching, no pain just comfort.

Excellent walking Shoe - This shoe is made of fairly soft leather so breaks in easily. The heel and arch have good support. The sole has excellent cushioning which holds up well. This shoe looks dressy enough that you can use it for a dress shoe. Laces are quite long, so I change them. This is my 4th pair.

These are most likely THE most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Every sensation is comfort. And I would not have them if it was not for Zappos. I tried to see this model of NB before ordering, and not one store in town had it! After a lifetime of not being able to find even one pair of shoes my size in a store, at Zappos I have multiple choices. These shoes can be worn with orthotics, but I think they should be full length, not 3/4 length. Another review mentioned a noise in the sole of the shoe. I believe that was caused by a 3/4 length orthotic that placed pressure in a bad way on this shoe. It happened to mine one day. I switched to full length inserts and the sound went away. I love the shoes and am devoted to Zappos.

Good Day-Hiking Shoe - I took a pair of these on a cross-country tour of the US and wore them the entire trip. I made all of my hikes (<20 miles) in these shoes and never had a problem with sore feet! Quite comfortable, but the white style may not be appealing to some eyes.

New Balance MW811 - This is the only shoe I wear. I have bad knees from 20 years in the Marines and another 22 years teaching college. When I put them on, they were as comfortable as a pair of socks. They need no break-in. They are extremely comfortable and look great. I have 3 new pair in the closet just in case they quit making them.

My Favorite New Balance Shoe - I have tried other New Balance shoes, but I keep coming back to the MW811 for overall best fit for my feet. I wear them until they are "old," and then I order a new pair. The "old" then becomes my "work" shoes for yard work, etc.

Comfortable and true to size - Bought these for my husband who is on his feet quite a bit. He says they fit great and are really comfy. They are a bit dressier than a regular sneaker as they are a smooth brown leather. Will definitely buy again.

Great fitting/feeling shoe - Having recently had back surgery, I was looking for a shoe that looked nice enough to wear to work and would provide enough support. Certainly found it in this shoe. Looks nice with dress pants (believe it or not!) and provides good support while standing on my feet most of the day.

New shoes - I've worn these shoes almost exclusively since I got them. I can't remember another pair of shoes that fit & pleased me as much.

Frank had foot slap - These shoes have been a real life savor for me. I can walk without my feet slapping on the ground. They are nice looking. I can wear them for dress.

Great Shoe - This shoe is a wonderful fit. My husband has this shoe in black and white. If you have a wide foot this is the shoe for you. This shoe is hard to fine in EEEE width.

Thank you! These shoes are exactly what I had expected. True to size, no need for the hassle of trying to exchange them. My feet thank you. Nice wide toe box so my toes don't hurt. And thank you for updating me to priority shipping. I received my order in just 2 days!

I bought this to help with plantar fasciitis - The shoe is VERY comfortable, light weight, and reasonably attractive. I'm not sure it's helping with my plantar fasciitis, though perhaps it’s too soon to tell. I definitely recommend the shoe in general however.

Great for work - I bought these because I work retail and my old shoes were wearing out. I would regularly go home with foot and leg pain from being on my feet standing still for 8 hours straight. These are great and comfortable, very comfortable, look good for a work shoe. Only catch is they don't grip very well at first. When I first put them on, I was slipping even on my driveway, but after a few hours of the sole breaking in, they were just like any other shoe. Excellent product.

Great shoe - I am very happy with my new shoes; they are very comfortable and heavy duty. Since I use them for work and I work in a Kitchen. They are also slip resistant and good water resistant shoe. The service from Zappos was terrific; I don't think I'll be shopping for shoes anywhere else in the future.

Great Shoe & Great Service - When I ordered these shoes, I ordered just regular shipping. Received an email notifying me they were upgrading my shipping to next day at no charge. I thought this was pretty awesome since this was the 1st time I ordered from Zappos. Shoes were as described & am really happy with them. Would definitely order from Zappos again as well as recommend them to friends.

Better than $400 Diabetic Shoes - Every year I am authorized a pair of diabetic shoes by Social Security. These MW811 are so superior to what I have been getting, that these will be by new shoes, (even though I pay for them). Great shoe. Thanks.

Comfortable - I bought this shoe for my father-in-law. Fortunately we were able to order in an E size since my father in law has wide feet. He loves these shoes! He tells me that these shoes fit him perfectly.

New Balance Walking Shoe (6E Width) I have been wearing this particular shoe for years. It is extremely comfortable, lightweight, and available in a 6E width. It is great for walking and can also be worn in the evening with dressy clothing. It is available in 3 colors, and the price is very reasonable--a best buy!

So comfortable! These shoes are very, very comfortable. I use them for exercising and feel a lot of support. I also use them to walk outside and they are great. The only reason I gave them three stars for looks is that I've never seen a "beautiful" pair of work-out shoes.

From Rockports to New Balance - I've been buying Rockport shoes exclusively for over 20 years and was very satisfied. Recently I could not find what I wanted in Rockports, so I took a chance and ordered a pair of New Balance shoes for the first time ever. I'll admit I was very pessimistic, thinking I'd only be happy with Rockports, but much to my surprise I am really satisfied with my new shoes from New Balance! They look great, very comfortable, and actually fit a little better than the Rockports did. My size of 14 "EE" is sometimes difficult to find, but Zappos had them in stock, and they were delivered in two days! I highly recommend New Balance shoes, and if you're reading this, you probably already know how great Zappos is!

Plantar Fasciitis - I have had plantar fasciitis for several years. Tried several types of inserts with no pain relief. One internet search provided a national podiatry organization that listed several shoes that were suggested for relief. The New Balance 811 was the first shoe I tried. It is the only thing that I have found to relieve the pain so I am on my third pair. Thank you Zappos for having the shoe in stock and your great service.
