Awesome Shoe - I wear special orthodics and needed a perfect fit. I had always used a New Balance 8104E to fit my orthodics in. I took a chance on this new "811" and it was perfect in fit and in style. There wansn't even a "break in" period. I just put them on and had instant comfort. By having to wear such a wide shoe, looks always worried me in the past but I feel that the only thing noticable is the small Breastcancer ribbon on the tongue of the shoe. Another note and that is Zappos is the only place to shop for that shoe that is "special" for anyones feet. Fantastic in every way, even price....Awesome shoe"

Great shoe! I had gotten the New Balance 810's about 6 months ago which I really liked. I decided to order a different color in the New Balance 811, I love them. I think they are just a little more comfortable than the 810's.

Best Over All - Bought the beige 12AA for a trek to Stonehenge; complete with arch supports I flew like a fairy through merry olde englande. At age 60+ and working full time 12-hour ICU-nights, shoes have to be BEST OVER ALL for me to NOT throw them into the Good will bin after 1 wearing or two. I ordered them in White for work, and would do so again.

New Balance 811 - This is a great walking shoe. I purchased them for a trip to Europe and they have been comfortable from the first time I wore them. Good support so that your legs don't get tired.

New Balance work shoes? I bought these shoes as a work shoe. I'm a teacher at a high school and wanted something that was comfortable and looked decent enough to where with slacks. I believe I found both in this shoe. The folks at Zappos were fantastic all the way through by staying in touch and tracking my product. I'm leery of mail order already, but Zappos took away all my fears with their great return policy. It is NO risk! I will order again from them because they have a huge selection of brands to choose from. - Dee

These shoes were made for walking, I normally take a standard 6 B width for a shoe, but I find the wide width to be perfect. I bought my first pair of new balance 811 walkers in California and liked the fit so much that I bought a black pair and a white pair from Zappos. They are perfect for anyone that has to be on their feet all day long or do a lot of walking. The look is very casual and a little more dressy than a sneaker. They can be worn all day long and are still comfortable at the end of the day.

The best ever! New Balance boxy toe room made it my favorite walking shoe for the past 5 years. They hold their shape and are easy to keep clean. It's my all day everyday shoe since I retired and I wouldn't dream of switching to another brand. Why switch?

Like walking on a cloud! What can you say about New Balance other than great shoe? Also, the new love of my life is Zappos for their great service!

New Balance 811 Is Great! Zappo's Is Terrific!! The New Balance 811 are the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever experienced. I have a wide foot and usually when I order a ww width it is still too narrow but the New Balance 811 is just perfect. In addition, I can't say enough about Zappo's. I had purchased another New Balance and had to return it and there was absolutely no problem. Zappo's even pays for the return postage. They are the best online company I have ever dealt with. I will continue to buy my shoes at Zappo's.

Great shoes - I was wearing the ww810 and needed a replacement. the ww811 is as comfortable or more so. I wear a 6.5 2E and I can never find a good shoe at the stores. Thanks.

These feel great! I had my doubts about this shoe. The minute I took it out of the box and tried them on...I knew I loved them. Ok, not the prettiest, but they feel great! I have wide feet and finding something that fits correctly is very difficult. These shoes are wonderful.

I love this shoe! The New Balance WW811 is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I have some arch and plantar fascia problems, which this shoe helps to control. I can't imagine switching to another walking shoe!

Very Pleased - I have short, very wide feet with a high arch - very hard to find things to fit. These shoes are wonderful. They've been very comfortable from the minute I put them on. I had been reading about New Balance and the "rollbar" feature and wanted to try them...was pretty doubtful they would fit, but when I found zappos and their free delivery/free return policy, I had nothing to lose. I'm so glad I gave them a try. When I put them on my feet I said, "These are MINE!!" :) This was my first order from Zappos.com but it won't be my last! Many thanks!

New Balance WW811 - This was my first Zappos order and I was very impressed with all the help I received. You have a wonderful customer service department. I ordered a black and white pair of the New Balance 811 in a 7.5 and a double wide. I've worn SAS shoes for the past 20 years, but my foot doctor recommended I try New Balance. These shoes seem wider than the double wide in the SAS. I've had a lot of trouble with my left foot and needed a shoe that would give me toe room and these shoes have a rounded toe which gives you room to wiggle your toes. My only complaint is there needs to be more padding in the heel area. When the liner is taken out and replaced by orthotics the heel area feels very hard. I started to get pain in my heels. I purchased gel heel pads and placed them in my shoes which seems to have helped.

I've worn many pairs of the 810. The only complaint I have is that it is not narrow enough. I have to wear heavy Thurlo socks with all exercise shoes. I wear this one for the stability. I wear orthotics for posterior tibia tendenitis, and this shoe keeps my foot straight. I'm hoping the 811 works the same way.

Mission accomplished - My daughter and I searched every shoe store in our area and did not have any success until I located your company on the Internet. My daughter has inherited from someone very large feet. Fortunately, she's also tall. She is very happy with her new sneakers. And we will continue to buy from Zappos. Sincerely, D Cservak

Comfortable Walkers - I did not buy these shoes for their looks. I needed a pair of walking shoes for a trip to China. I do not like large bulky white shoes, unless it's for sports. These shoes are extremely comfortable and have a great sole for walking and surprisingly they are not unattractive with pants

New Balance is the best! My husband only wears New Balance and I discovered them a couple of years ago--terrific for us wide foot (flat feet) gals!! I wear custom orthodics and usually take a size 8 even with an extra width, so I ordered an 8EE, but these shoes have so much rounded wonderful toe room, I can actually wear my correct size of 71/2--just waiting for my size and color (white) to be available at Zappos--which by-the-way, is the BEST shoe store period! Bought these to replace the 810. Found virtually no difference in fit or comfort. I have very wide feet and these fit my orthotics and are still comfortable. I am on my feet all day and these are comfortable enough to wear all day.

Ordered Wrong size - I waited for a while for Zappos to get my size in in this shoe. My sister had the exact shoe and I had tried it on so ordered the 8W in it. but, as I wore the shoe around the house I decided it was a half size too large so returned it. I now have a 7 1/2 W and it is fine. I love the shoe and it really 'walks' great. I have to wear orthotic arch supports and the lining comes out and my orthotics fit great in them. I had no problem returning the shoe and getting the right size-wonderful, fast service. Bev in East TN.
