Costly Mistake! I feel it is my responsibility to warn anyone suffering from diabetic neuropathy(numbness of feet) to be aware of problems with this particular shoe. Because of the lack of support or structure I simply walked out of my shoe while shopping and wasn't even aware of it in time to locate it.

They're a little short - The shoes are good looking but feel a little short so I'll unfortunately be returning them. I love shopping with Zappo's so I'm going to my local New Balance Super Store, trying on until I find the perfect fit and then coming back to Zappo's for the purchase. Zappo's is great.

Comfy - I purchased these shoes for my 93 year old friend who wished to replace some old New Balance shoes she had. She is delighted with them and they are very important to her since she has developed problems walking due to a back problem and some loss of balance.

Good fit - I am very happy with my new shoes. I have been to shoe stores that promise they will have "hard to fit" sizes only to be told that they have not seen MY size in a long time. Zappos has hundreds of shoes my size! My New Balance WW811's fit like a glove and are very comfortable.

I've worn New Balance for years and these fit as expected. They are a little clunky-looking, but I need the roomy toe box.

Good shoe - My heel slips a little bit, but it doesn't rub and isn't uncomfortable.

Comfort Tailor Made in the USA - Best shoes I have had in years---I have wide feet and it's difficult to find shoes that are roomy in the right places without sliding around on my foot. These support and balance my foot. The icing on the cake---made in the USA!

New Balance WW811 - Love the shoe! My podiatrist recommended it and since my first pair, I've purchased two more in different colors. Also love Zappos fast service and excellent return policies. Thanks!

New Balance WW811 - The shoes are excellent. I would have liked to have the greenish color which is not available in my size 6 AA because the white will show the dirt quickly. However, I had a previous pair and found it to fit great and very comfortable.

The Best Walking Shoe I've Found for Sensitive Feet! I LOVE these shoes! I have diabetes and fibromyalgia and very sensitive feet. I need to walk for exercise and these are the best shoes I have. I have had no problems with rubbing or a loose heel or any of the other things that usually happen with walking shoes. I like that the shoe has a low profile and is not as high up around my ankle as most other walking shoes. It is wide and flat on the bottom which helps with balance and comfort. I walk on gravel, up and down hills and the shoes cushion my feet well. I wear a 4E and this shoe is actually wide enough.

Love my 811's and Zappos - Never have I gotten such fast service as we did at Zappos. And also I love the New Balance 811's, as they stopped my leg pains. Cheers to Zappos!!!

Sore Feet - I have a broken bone in each foot plus Morton's Neuroma of the left foot. I bought these shoes because they advertise stability and a reduction in pronation. It's true. The shoes are true to size, have good stability and seem to keep my left foot from pronating. Further, I can wear them all day in good comfort. On one pair of New Balances of a couple of years ago, the leather was inferior and peeled up. So far, the leather on this pair is holding up fine. My foot doctor recommends New Balance for people with foot problems such as mine. And, of course, Zappos is just the best in service!

The shoe fits - I wear an AFO brace, which needs a shoe with a removable insole to make room for the brace. My other shoes were the NB 810 and always worked. When I needed a bone color for summer I looked to the same shoe, but found the WW 811 was the model with bone as a choice. There is a slight difference in heel height and the WW 811 is better (a little flatter) than the WW810. The color is excellent and the style is good. Width is a true medium and the size is slightly larger than WW810. A real favorite.

New Balance WW811 - Very lightweight & great comfort. Slightly large in ankle area but typical problem for me.

By far this is the most comfortable New Balance sneaker I have ever owned. I wear a size 12N and when you have feet that big, sneakers get very heavy. This is lightweight and comfortable. It's not very pretty, but I didn't buy it for looks.

New Balance WW811 - True to size & very comfortable. No need to break in. My doctor advised me to get new balance & he was right.

Love these shoes - This is my first 811 model, I had two of the 810, and I'm hoping that this model is just as good.

Comfort - I'm an older lady and this shoe gives me the comfort I need walking. My granddaughter, in her teens, tried them on and asked her mom to get her a pair. She also liked the looks and feel. A great shoe for all ages.

Total Comfort - This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. It feels like a slipper. Usually, I have to walk around the house awhile to break new walking shoes in to feel comfortable. These shoes have felt like gloves since I took them out of the box the first time and began to wear them. I love them.

Happy customer - I have bough several pairs of shoes from Zappos and find theer service the best. If i do have to send something back, there is no problem at all getting them back or getting credit. I buy almost all of my shoes from Zappos, they have my size ( which is very hard to find)

really like this shoe - I really like this shoe - fits well, comfortable and very good support. Good value.

Extremely comfortable even for gout patients - I got these for my mother who has gout. She absolutely raves about their comfort. Since she can't have pressure on her toes, I got her the wide size (D) and she says that they feel great. NB has width sizing so you can customize the fit and that is a big advantage for many people.

Trip to Eastern Europe - I just returned from a 19 day trip to Eastern Europe. I wore these shoes every day and walked between 6 and 10 miles a day seeing all the sights that there were to see. I took out the inter sole and added a new Balance arch support before I left. I have a very high arch. I was quite pleased with their comfort.

A good vegan shoe is hard to find... As an ethical vegetarian (tries to avoid animal products in all areas of life, not just food), I have a hard time finding shoes that meet my first make-or-break criterion: Are they made with any leather? I do a lot of my shoe/clothing shopping on the Internet because it is so much easier to just search for "vegan" online than to go into a store and have clueless teenage clerks give me that deer-in-the-headlights look when I start asking questions. I think I checked about 10 websites before finding Zappos.com, and I was about to run out of possibilities. There just aren't many sneaker-type shoes out there (other than your very basic canvas ones, which isn't what I prefer) that don't have any leather, and most of the ones that qualify are UGLY!! I was very pleased to find not just one, but two or three sneaker styles on Zappos that were leather-free but had the sort of look I was seeking. I have been wearing my new WW 811 shoes every day for about 6 weeks now, and I love them! They are very comfortable, have decent (although not pronounced) arch support, and don't call attention to themselves (something I look for when buying sneakers). I got them rather muddy while working in the yard a couple of days ago, and they cleaned right up easily! (The pair I bought is white.) They fit reasonably well right out of the box (although not 100% perfectly). After a few days of wearing, they had molded to the precise shape of my feet and become quite comfortable. I am a pretty active person--walking, biking, and weightlifting are ordinary, everyday activities for me (I don't run unless I'm being chased by something with large teeth!)--and I wear my new shoes for everything that doesn't require something dressier. I am also very enthusiastic about Flylady. One of the basics Flylady teaches is how much it will help you to wear a good, comfortable, supportive pair of lace-up shoes all day, and my new shoes qualify just fine! I was also very pleased with Zappos.com's services--I received my shoes very quickly, and the company seems much more interested in customer satisfaction than the average organization. In short (okay, maybe it's too late for that!), I think this is a great pair of shoes, sold by a great company!

Therapuetic comfort - I have a very wide foot but narrow at the heel. I have a hard time finding shoes to fit but these shoes are fantastic. I pull the extra wide tongue toward me and then firmly tie the laces, and these shoes do not shift or rub on my heels. Because of fibromyalgia my feet give me a lot of problems but these shoes have been a great help. I recommended them to my sister who also was so pleased with them she ordered two pairs! I cannot wear dress shoes and while these shoes are not"pretty" they do the job for me. Thank You.
