Blister - I walked approximately 8 miles a day and each day I developed a new blister as well as irritating the other blister sites as well. My feet look like a patch work of bandages. I would guess that if you are only walking a mile or two these shoes would work but they did not for me.

Looks better than it feels - This shoe is not true to size and it is too heavy. Should have returned it before I wore it outside.

My Best Walking Shoe - New Balance WW811 is the best walking shoe for me because it is a perfect fit! The main thing is the arch support and heel height are just right for me!! Narrow shoes are not easy to find anymore, but WW811 does come in narrow!! And it was in stock at Zappo's! Thanks for prompt shipment.

Oy, my aching feet! After reading many positive reviews on this shoe, I was dismayed to find that my feet ached horribly after walking in these shoes. I felt like I was walking directly on the ground, they were so hard. Very disappointed.

New Balance WW811 - The right shoe slips off the back of the heel no matter how tight I fasten the laces. The left shoe - the tongue slips to the left, no matter how tight I fasten the laces. On that shoe I also pull the tongue to the right in order to help the problem, but it still shifts to the left about 1 to 1 1/2".

This shoe does not have very much cushioning. I'm returning in and hope to find a New Balance alternative, as I like wearing NB shoes.

Very uncomfortable! This is definitely not a walking shoe as the name suggests.

I wear 8 1/2 or 9 4A. I really though this shoe would be it, since I ordered the 811 in a 4A. I inserted my orthopedic insert, used a thicker sock, the heel still flip flopped. I would not consider this a true narrow fitting shoe. I have to return it. I appreciate the excellent service that Zappos provides. I will try once again!

Regrettably, I didn't purchase these shoes from Zappos. I found them in a magazine for people with problem feet and I'll never trust that magazine again. They are much narrower than stated, shorter than stated, and the seam over the top of your foot, right below the lacing, is very tight. I have very problematic feet, two different sizes, very wide toe box, somewhat narrow heel, and these are definitely not the shoe for someone with any foot problems. Had I purchased them from Zappos, I could at least return them for another size, but I didn't.

Fooled - I thought this would be the perfect walking shoe - wide toe box, narrow heel, stability and roll protection all along the bottom of the shoe. Boy was I fooled. I can see my feet break inward when I step down on my foot and start to push off for the next step. The heel of the left one seems a little bigger than the right, but both tend to slip up and down. The seam that runs around the front to the sides bears down on my little toes, so I have to get them off as soon as I'm finished with my walk. New Balance made these shoes sound like heaven, but they are just the opposite. If I had worn them more at home on the carpet before getting out on the street, I would have returned them.

Not so happy feet - I have purchased New Balance shoes for several years and decided to try this shoe. There is no support and after a short time I was in pain. I will not buy again.

Very uncomfortable - I am not happy with these shoes. There is no support in the arch at all. I am a healthcare worker and am on my feet for a full 8 hour shift. Gel insoles haven't helped. I am still looking for a comfortable work shoe.
