There is a seam that hits a bunion by my big toe. These are not as comfortable as my 926 model shoe. The toe box was not as comfortable as the 926.

Good support -
This is a comfortable shoe and fits very well. I'm disappointed only in that fact that a shoe that costs this much is not made of leather! I don't expect to get something synthetic for the price I paid. Otherwise, it's a great shoe.

not for wet floors -
These shoes are very comfortable and have good support however I work in a restaurant and anytime we mop its like I'm on an ice rink or if some grease gets on the floor. I thought these would be great shoes with how comfortable they are but my SAS have much better traction on wet floors.

Not all that happy -
I picked this shoe because I wanted a walking shoe I could wear everyday to work. I found the shoe very clunky; the tongue of the shoes hurt my ankles. I have had the shoes a week and I'm still trying to adjust to them. I expected the shoe to be softer and fit better. It seems to slip on my heel, but if I wear it tighter then the tongue of the shoes really dig into my ankles. If this was a shoe for standing on my feet all day I think it would be great, but I wanted it for walking and with the ankle pain they just aren't that comfortable. I'm hoping after some more time they will get broken in and feel better around my ankles.

My impression of the NB WW811 -
I picked this shoe because I knew that the width would fit. I needed a walking shoe. I needed a shoe that would be wide enough yet not slip. The first day I wore this shoe was at our local fair and we walked for HOURS. IF you have sensitivity to the top of your toes/foot rubbing on the tongue stitching then these may give you some trouble. I have a tendency to not wear socks with my shoes and I can 'suck the insoles' out of a pair of shoes in days. So far these have held up.
This looks like a gym/athletic shoe and walks well. I do suggest research on the types of fits. S-1, S-2 on the New Balance website. It helps you with your walking pattern.

I was very excited about this shoe because I have a very narrow foot, but I was disappointed to find that it was not as narrow as "4A" would imply. It was also not as comfortable as I had hoped.

Heavy -
This is a good sturdy shoe but seems to be on the heavy side. It also runs about a half size larger. I bought the wide and boy is it wide.

This shoe is comfortable until I do rigorous walking on the treadmill. Then, I find that it just does not have enough support or cushioning in the sole. I would recommend this shoe for daily wear, but not for any serious walking.

Not as supportive as I had hoped -
The shoe was nice as far as look was concerned and truth be told it was the only reason why I didn't return it. I have severe over pronation and this shoe would not be one I would wear for a long period of time. Kudos to Zappos for their great customer service. I only wish others in the online business could learn a few tips from them on how to treat customers. I will definitely buy here again just not those shoes.

Where's the arch support?
I bought these because they had been rated to have medium to high arch support. Not really--they barely have any arch support! Not bad for a black sneaker, though, they are okay for work with my regular arch supports inserted. I expected a better arch, though, my last NB's were black sneakers I loved & wore to death because the arches were so great, although the look was too sneakerish.

Not the best NB -
While the shoe is WIDE which I thought was my main concern, it turns out that it takes more to make a comfortable shoe. The arch support isn't enough and the inside bottom of the of the shoe needs more cushion. I bought three pair because initially they felt good and for a particular foot they would probably be just right. I bought some Dr. Schools Gel insoles and they seem to help but I don't think I will buy this shoe again. But I will stay with New Balance because over all they are the best shoe for my foot.

Lacking support -
I always buy New Balance, but these shoes do not have the support of my previous ones. They are tight in the toes area, yet they slip off my heel when I walk...they do look good though.

Not my favorite walking shoe -
I found the shoes wider than I expected, particularly in the heel, and they don't feel as cushioned as I had hoped. I'm using them for daily wear, but I think I'll be sending these shoes postcards from Europe as they won't make the trip with me. Zappos prices and service are phenomenal, however - they can't be beat by any online or local store, in my opinion.

delayed unsatisfied -
I hesitated to respond as I was very satisfied in the beginning. But as I continue to wear them my feet became tired, hot with a burning sensations. I know I can't return them as I worn them outdoors. The secret is don't wear your shoes outdoors until they're completely broken in. I will continue shopping at Zappos as I am very satisfied with the online shopping experience.

Disappointed -
This shoe runs wider than a normal 2AA shoe. The 2AA is more like a medium width. It does not have very good cushioning and it has virtually no arch support.

New Balance walking shoe -
The shoe did not have a high enough arch support. The show fit in the heel but was too wide in the toe area. I will be sending the show back.

Moderate Disappointment -
The tongue does not stay centered. There is no instructions on suggested lacing. Expected an airy feel, instead it is quite firm. It was nice to have an all one color shoe. Zappos shipped exactly what I ordered in a size difficult to find without it being a special order. I don't mind spending whatever it takes because at age 70 I still walk 15 miles a week. Is there a better walking shoe available?
Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

Old woman shoes could be a bit more padded -
These shoes really do look like something an older woman would wear. I bought these shoes for work because I'm a waitress and I need black shoes to work in. Although these shoes say they are walking shoes they could be more padded. I didn't get any blisters from them but my feet ached a little bit after 9 hours of standing/walking around. However, I ordered a bunch of other black shoes and this one was the most comfortable. Be aware of how they look though!

The tongue is unusually thick so squeezes the foot. I needed more toe room because of a bunion. The shoe rubbed the side of my toe and I had to return them.

The synthetic uppers are stiff & uncomfortable. This shoe does not cradle your foot! Zappos has lots & lots of nice New Balance shoes, but this is not one of them.

I have very narrow feet -
I have very narrow feet and I have custom orthotics. These were nice looking shoes but they couldn't overcome those two issues. Without the orthotics my feet hurt and with them, my heel slipped up and down.

Short and clunky -
Disregard my comfort rating as I did not wear the shoes at all since they were about 1/2 size shorter than expected for a 12 AAAA. If you need support, great. If you care about style, get something else. Square toe boxes apparently aren't for me--ugly, ugly, ugly. Also, after ordering several pairs, I found NB shoes are not consistent in length. Many are shorter than expected. Anyone looking for style or an athletic look should avoid the solid, flat sole and get something with a 2-piece looking sole.

On Balance -
This buyer requires a 7 narrow width and therefore has little to choose from. So I often take what I can get. That said this shoe fit slightly shorter than true and looks a bit stubby. I would like more cushioning. Initially the shoe felt good; however cushioning seems to harden very soon and feels like a well worn old shoe. It is less than two weeks old; it does not offer much arch support.
I would not order it again.
