This shoe is great! Severe back issues and I could not stand to walk very far... now, I can! I was used to walking a couple of miles a day and had been having a really rough time purchasing any shoe that would fit properly, function well, and allow me to get back to some of the things I enjoy most. After researching the appropriate shoe on New Balance's website, I easily found the item on Zappos. Using Zappos.com was quick, painless and the service could not have been better. Very satisfied not only with this shoe but also the service I received. Very rare in today's climate.

I WILL NEVER GO TO THE MALL AGAIN!!!! Dearest Zappos, Words alone can not describe how happy I am with my shoes. My feet to begin with are a medical mess. I have been in all kinds of shoes from Z-Coil, SAS, and even custom made supports from my podiatrist. Going to the mall to buy shoes is an embarrassment and can be so frustrating that I will break into tears. I stumbled onto your website while I was looking for clothes and stuff for a cruise that we went on and found the tremendous selection of sizes. Widths that I didn't even know were available to me. I ordered these shoes, went to Wal-Mart, and bought the usual band aids and cloth tape so that I could get the shoes broke in and try to avoid blisters and relieve the expected pain that would be settling in. I am over joyed to tell you that I have not had one blister and NO pain at all. I was and I am still in shock over this and so is my husband. Like I said, I can not even explain how this has changed my life literally. It’s amazing how much more you can do in life and how much further you can go when you finally have on a shoe that actually fits you!

Favorite Standby - This is not the first pair of 811's I have purchased. I have trouble finding 4e width and this is the first shoe that I can truly say is comfortable. They don't give the appearance of a 4e shoe. Also they wear well.

6th Pair - This is my 6th pair of this New Balance Shoe and they are the best. I do a great deal of walking both inside and out and have always found them to be very comfortable. They also offer great support of my high arched feet.

Soft, airy - On my feet 10hrs. at work as a food worker. Have paid twice as much these are great!

I will NEVER shop any where else 4 shoes - I looked everywhere for a black shoe that I could wear in a business casual workplace. Tennis Shoes were not allowed but I have a lift that fits into my shoe so I can only find tennis shoes that allow my foot to stay in the shoe w/out slipping out when I walk. I ordered this shoe because it stressed that it was perfect for walkers--- they were right!! I love this shoe; it is very comfortable and very light, so it is very easy to walk in 4 me. Not only is the shoe great, but the service I got from Zappos.com was wonderful. I didn't have to pay any additional charges for shipping. I ordered it at 9 pm and I received the shoe the very NEXT day. Perfect Timing!! I will always order all of my shoes for me and my family from Zappos.com!!!

This shoe saved me! By switching to this quality shoe, I have been able to avoid foot surgery. For that, I am most grateful. It's the most comfortable and supportive shoe I have ever worn.

Love this shoe, will wear it forever - Very hard to find size, hard to find man made upper that breathes, really good stability, support and cushioning, all in one shoe! It has saved my feet from years of ill fitting sorrow (woman with really wide feet) and because of the man made upper, my shoes no longer smell like a wet dog. New Balance's instructions on how to use lacing to adjust for different shapes of feet really helped too. See their website.

Comfortable! I work at a car rental counter and stand on my feet all day. I had knee surgery last year too, and I need comfortable shoes. My foot doctor recommended I get this type of shoe. They cost more than I usually pay but well worth the extra money. I would highly recommend this one.

Bought a Second Pair! I highly recommend these shoes for anyone with feet problems. I have neuroma in both feet and am able to walk for miles in these without problem. I liked the one pair so much I bought a second pair to have as backup. GREAT SHOE - and looks nice too.

811 Shoes - I am really happy with the 811 shoes, although they are a bit frumpy looking for anything but weekend ware. I am always looking for something my orthotics fit in and these are good for than.

Good work shoe - The only problem I have with comfort is my ankles now hurt a bit more than they did before. My feet are not hurting as badly though.

First time - This is my first pair of New Balance and they are wonderful. It is the first shoe that has EVER not hurt my feet after working an eight hour shift! I was a bit leery to try them because I have tried so many shoes trying to find one that didn't make my feet hurt at the end of the day, but I am SO GLAD I got these.

Fabulous! I have a very narrow foot and a fallen arch, which makes buying a sneaker/walking shoe impossible. Although it took buying numerous stlyes to find one that fits, this is the shoe!! It is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned!

New balance shoes ww811 - I am very pleased with this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe supports my arch wonderfully. This shoe was also recommended to me by my Podiatrist. I have a d-width and I have plenty of room. This shoe is true to size. It is also made in the USA.

No Wobbling - This model 811 is my favorite for the absolutely stable support it provides to my ankle. No more wobbling or the feeling that my foot may turn on its side. The arch is great as well keep this one coming it is a sure winner for stability. I also want to add that appreciate Zappos picking up the shipping tab so I can buy shoes online and try till I find the best fit then buy.

Sorry...just not comfy enough for me. I found the footbed to be very hard and thought of buying a padded insert but the rather high cost of the shoe suggested to me that it should be ready to wear. I found an Adidas in an athletic store that was just what I wanted.

Great walking shoe! I've tried a lot of other walkers, but this one is the best. I have a very small but wide foot and most shoes still pinch my feet. However this shoe met all my requirements including accommodating my orthodic. I can walk several miles in it without any discomfort.

My Second Pair - I was glad to find these shoes in bone instead of white. They are so comfortable and sturdy that I wear them everyday. I have leg, ankle, and knee problems, and these New Balance shoes give me support and stability. I can wear them all day with comfort. My friend's foot doctor wrote her a prescription for this style and told her to buy them right away.

Definitely the place to shoe shop. My difficult feet need more arch support than the 811. However, with my prescribed inserts they are very comfortable. I love Zappos! This is the place to shop for shoes.

Comfortable from day one - I take 3 walks a day usually about 30-40 minutes and I have had a couple of pairs of Clarks Artisan shoes which I really like. Unfortunately my size and color was not available when I needed a new pair of shoes so I decided to try an athletic shoe. I had worn New Balance many years ago and liked it so I decided to try another pair. The reviews helped me decide to buy them. They are incredibly comfortable and provide a lot of support. They make my feet look kind of clunky but for walks in the park or on sidewalks or running errands they are great. I would definitely buy another pair.

Comfortable shoe - This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I have neuropathy in my feet and while these shoes are well padded on the bottom, they do not relieve the pain after four or more hours of wear. I would recommend them though.

New Balance - I have a hard time finding shoes in my size. This shoe is great!

White New Balance WW811 - I am a nurse that works 12 hour shifts! From the moment I put these on I have no sore feet. They are very stable shoes so when I am rushing down a hall I don't feel like I could slip or turn my ankle. I have a lot of knee pain and I have noticed an improvement. Whether it is from the shoes or not I love them. I have recommended them and this company to many people.
