Highly recommend for comfortable walking - Recently purchased this shoe and started walking immediately. They are soooo comfortable and I did not experience any "break-in" problems like blisters, soreness, etc. I don't particularly care for the looks of the shoe but agree with another poster that you should go for the comfort. You will not be disappointed with this shoe.

One of the few athletic shoes which comes in narrow sizes... Great shoe. So nice to have an athletic shoe that fits and doesn't allow my feet - especially across the ball - slide around. I wear an insert when working out and purchase athletic shoes one size larger. This is a little small for the insert. I'm just not used to not having to totally "cinch" the laces!

New Balance 811 performs as advertised. This is another good New Balance walking shoe. I have no complaints of either NB or Zappos. They are both great.

Like Walking on Clouds - This is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and with feet like mine (arthritic, quite a few operations) it's hard to find shoes that not only fit but are comfortable. I'm ready to head back to Europe and all the cobblestones!

Love MY New Sneakers!!! I was very skeptical about ordering these shoes. I have been to the New Balance Store here in Mass, and didn't have very good luck finding something comfortable. But these shoes are Awesome; I love the way they fit, feel and look. I have to wear inserts for plantar fasciitis and they still fit great... Thank you New Balance, no more sore feet for me!!!

Outstanding shoe - This is a very comfortable shoe and is perfect (deep enough) for accommodating special insoles. It also feels very stable when walking, preventing my heels from pronating. I have this shoe in 2 colors and now wear them exclusively to work and just about everywhere else. I do wish they were more attractive, but I'm willing to sacrifice looks for comfort. Finally, my experience ordering from Zappos continues to be outstanding! These shoes arrived at my house 2 days after I placed my order.

The one and only sneaker for me. I've been wearing these for more than several weeks now and I can say that my feet have never been happier. I can't wear any other pairs of sneakers without feeling "flat footed." I'm going to order a black pair now.

Great Walking Shoe - I purchased these shoes for a recent trip to Las Vegas. I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking and I needed a good walking shoe. My feet swell when I stand or do lots of walking and these shoes were great. I bought the wide width and they gave my feet plenty of room across the front toe area. If my feet didn't swell, even though I normally wear a wide shoe, I probably would not get the wide width in this shoe. But worked out fine for me.

New Balance - These are my second pair WW911. Comfortable with great support. Will buy a third pair.

Great shoes - I wear these shoes for work on concrete and for casual. I have an extra wide foot, so they are great for that.

Very comfortable walking shoe - This is a terrific shoe. I have no problems using my orthotics in them. I feel they give great support and they are very comfortable to wear. I am definitely planning on buying another pair soon.

Comfort Incomparable! I was having lots of trouble with my feet. I tried these in the white for every day since I am a housewife and on my feet mostly all day. I dearly love the feel, fit, and comfort of these shoes. I hope they continue making them forever!

Fantastic! These are amazing shoes! I'm on my feet at work allllll day long, which is what drove me to find better shoes in the first place. When I wear these, it's like walking on clouds. The relief is unbelievable! My feet don't get angry at me anymore, and they've stopped threatening to seek emancipation... I highly, HIGHLY recommend these shoes! P.S. I also love the fact that they're not leather... Leave the cow's skin on the cow, thank you!

I walk everyday and this shoe is the best walking shoe I have owned. Shoe is very true to size and is so comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who does a lot of walking. You won't find a more comfortable shoe for the money.

WW811 review - The shoes are very comfortable, and true to size. They do squeak a bit, but not enough to not wear them. A great walking shoe. I am very satisfied and will definitely buy the same style again. I was truly impressed with the speed in which they were delivered. Good Job Zappos!!

Good shoes - The shoes fit great, and I wore them for 12 hours the first time I put them on. I'm a nurse working 12 hour shifts, and I don't have time for sore feet, so this was a good thing! I'll be ordering from Zappos again.

Great Shoe - I loved this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and it really help with the heel pain. It has great foot support.

My favorites - New Balance WW811 are the only walking shoes I ever buy. They are comfortable, the fit is great and they are affordable. The added plus for me is that they are made in the USA.

These shoes are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned. This is my second pair...I've had the others (bone color) about eight months and they are still going strong and comfortable (I wanted a second pair in black). I have wide feet that need arch support.

Great!! Wonderful!! These are the most comfortable athletic shoes I have worn in years... They are true to size and can be worn with orthotics. They have actually helped correct a lower hip problem. Totally recommend these and Zappos. They are the greatest shoe store.

Great Shoe - This is the best shoe I have found for my very narrow, flat feet. They are very comfortable and have the stability I need. Definitely looks better than the normal running shoes my podiatrist recommended for Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis. AAA feels a little wide, but I have not been able to find anything in AAAA.

Good Choice - I have a hard time finding shoes-- high arch, high instep, and I have to fit an orthotic in, too! This shoe does the trick. And I wore it all day the first day, with no "break-in" period. The only minor quibble is the tongue seems a little long, and I noticed it pushing against my ankle, but that seems to be lessening. This shoe has a lot of support (don't expect a soft, flexible shoe) which I find very comfortable.

The perfect shoe - I have found that the New Balance 811 is the best shoe for me for walking. I have arthritis in my left foot in the big toe and everything I tried hurt my foot and I had trouble walking. The New Balance 811 is a life saver it fits perfectly; the width is true to size and most of all I have no pain in my foot and can walk with ease. Thank you New Balance.

What a great shoe! I know, they're a little clunky, but sometimes you just want your feet to feel comfortable like when you're at work or on a walk. I have big time bunions and have a horrible time finding shoes that were actually supportive and not painful. These shoes are just what I needed. They will accommodate orthotics.
