New Balance changed suppliers with this pair and the size I always bought (and always fit fine) is too tight in the width this time, and I don't want a larger size. Tell NB to go back to their Indonesian supplier.

Very disappointing. I bought these based on the stellar reviews posted already. I found they're a size smaller than marked. I wear 13s in Asics and had to get 14s instead. Basically these don't provide nearly enough forefoot cushioning for my feet. I mildly overpronate and these just made it a lot more painful. Not sure if it's worth buying orthotics to make 'em work. To the donation bin these go.

The most comfortable casual shoe I've ever had. fairly cheap. many arch support. so swag. buying another pair after having a pair for 3 years of wear.

Too narrow and the seams from the stitching rubbed the top of my feet.

These are great looking shoes. Unfortunately they are very small in sizes. Took two returns to finally get a fit. Luckily Zappos offers the free returns. Great company!

I've been wearing New Balance Classics for the last 12 years because of how comfortable they are and I like the style of them. I got these a couple of weeks ago and they feel great.

I normally wear a 10.5 D and I ordered a 11 EE and the shoes were a perfect fit. Shoes needed zero break in. Very happy with them. Hope that last a while. Had Sketchers previously but they kept falling apart too soon.

I purchased these for my son and he loves them. He wanted something comfortable for walking back and forth to campus.

I have been a big fan of New Balace M574s for years and have been ordering the same size. But with this last pair, they are smaller. And yes, I know, feet can grow as we get older. However, the pair right before this was just fine. I wonder if New Balance shifted their sizing?

These shoes are comfortable as having a million kittens wrapped around your feet. If I had to scour the earth for the last pair of these, I would be prepared to risk my life in a Thunderdome type scenario to obtain them.

This sneaker runs narrow. After reading reviews online i ordered them in wide (EE) and this is a perfect fit for me. Very comfortable kicks and I will be ordering more pairs in the future.

Very comfortable and looks great. Sizing - the size I wear in women's in the model 574 is 8.5 (that's half a size bigger than any other running shoe brand; New Balance runs small in my experience). So downsizing for the men's version is supposed to be by 1.5 sizes so I got the 7. It feels loose (looser than the women's 8.5) but not so loose that I need to return it. I'm going to add a thin Dr. Scholl's insole on top of the existing insole to hopefully get it to be just a bit snugger so I don't feel like my feet are sloshing around. I do have skinny feet - not narrow but thin from top to bottom so I think that's part of why it feels a little big on me.

Very comfortable and 2E is wide enough. Inconsistent build quality from one pair to another, though. I've owned two pairs and one of pair started coming apart at the sole while the other one held together fine.

Good shoes that are pretty nice for sneakers. Could use a little more arch support, but they're pretty comfortable. Be sure to size up half a size and up a width, they run small.

I ordered a 9.5 because I am usually a 9.5 in my Nike's but when the shoe arrived it was small and it hurt my toes and it was narrow. But I exchanged them for a 10 and made it wide. It fitted comfortably. Shipping was very fast at Zappos and their customer service is friendly and excellent!

The incredible shrinking shoe. I last bought a pair of these 2-3 years ago in size 10 and they fit perfectly. I very recently bought a new pair to replace them, and they're definitely at least a half size too small, and generally feel narrower as well. The pair a few years ago were made in Vietnam, the new pair in Indonesia. Something's been altered in the switchover, it appears. I'll be trying again in a half size larger, but I'm worried that the overall fit has simply just changed for the worse.

I am shocked to see the 5 star reviews on this shoe! I purchased these for my son to wear with his school uniform because we have had much success with comfort and quality of New Balance shoes in the past. These shoes, however, were a great disappointment. Within 6 weeks of wear, the sole at the toe began to separate. I assumed this was just a flawed pair (it happens, right?). Zappos excellent customer service replaced the shoes with no hassle. The second pair lasted a bit longer, but, after 3 months or so, we had the exact same problem! I did not bother calling Zappos customer service again, but I will definitely not repurchase these again! Maybe we just had bad luck, but I would not recommend these for long-term durability.

Cool-looking shoes but the wide EE size was still too narrow. I started buying wide widths which are much more comfortable. Maybe I have Hulk feet but these sneakers were crazy narrow.

I have a fairly wide foot and often deal with a cramped toe box in a great deal of shoes. Went up half a size and these feel terrific.

These shoes feel and look great initially, but the suede on the outside quickly began to pull and get messed up. They're still comfortable after several months, but look terrible. I won't buy another pair.

I bought these in wide... they're not. A friend who works at NB confirmed that they run narrow. Consider ordering the wide size even if you don't typically order that size.

Cool shoe but the sizing is off for sure. The width was fine for my feet, the length was not. My size twelve feet were totally rubbing the inside of the toe box.
