My husband has had these for 2.5 years and they are still in great shape and look good. They look great with shorts or jeans and the blue color is vibrant and stand out.

I've been wearing 574 2Es for years. It seems like new balance has decided to narrow their 2E. I compared these directly to an old pair and they are narrower. I've ordered 3 different 2E 574s to try and figure out what is going on and I've sadly concluded that are not the size they used to be. I don't know what has happened but it is extremely disappointing as these used to be so comfortable and now they are just a little tight. If you've been wearing this style of shoe for a long time be prepared for disappointment.

Great looking shoe, color looks good with jeans or khakis - seems a little dressier than the standard white athletic shoe. Very comfortable, but could use a little more cushion on the bottom if you plan to spend all day standing in them. For normal use, it's fine. Lots of mesh so they breathe well. The material does darken temporarily if it gets wet. As for size, I normally wear a 12 EE in Nike - I found a 13 EE seems to be the equivalent in New Balance, but YMMV. Overall, very happy with this shoe - will likely buy another pair when these wear out.

These are my husbands favorite shoes and he's gone through two pair so far. They hold up really well and don't show dirt and wear nearly as quickly as other shoes he's owned. The only reason he needed pair was because his first pair finally started looking worn but he still wears them to knock around doing outside work.

I've been wearing New Balance 574 sneakers for approximately 20 years. They are always a good looking, comfortable feeling shoe. I have multiple pairs in different colors and I love them all. If you want a supportive shoe that gives you ample toe room and width (I have long, narrow feet), this is definitely your shoe. You may want to order a half size larger because they have been running a bit small the past few years or so.

Wide? Size 10.5? I don't think so. They feel like medium and not anything near a wide width. They also seem to run small. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5 at most. I ordered a 10.5 and my toes were touching the very end which was surprising. I might have to try 11 which will be a first for me.

This was the first 574 I have tried. I needed to get a SL2 last in an EE width because my feet swell and I can't get into the D width 1101's that have been my go to shoe. These are lighter with thinner soles but they fit comfortably. I am 86 years old and I don't need running shoes, just something to get around in that looks decent with anything I wear. These fill the bill for me.

They are comfort shoes and also great for daily walking.

Very stylish but unfortunately run very small compared to some New Balance. I have a pair of 860v6's that I ordered in the same size. Holding these up sole-to-sole shows a good 3/4" in width and 1/2" in length difference between identical new balance sizes.

Well constructed shoe, especially for the price, assembled in USA. Very comfortable and easy wear. I did have to get a 12 wide instead of my usual 12 d, but other than that a good shoe.

For some reason New Balance switches to a different, less breathable mesh in the toe box when they move from size 12 to 13. I know this probably doesn't matter to most people, but it does to me for some reason. I've owned both sizes and the size 13 is less comfortable than the size 12.

Though I generally like New Balance shoes, the specific pair I received turned out to be somewhat defective. I've had them for 6 months but only wear them occasionally. Nonetheless, the sole on the right shoe is tearing apart from the seam, something I've only seen happen in very cheaply made shoes. Zappos customer service said they wouldn't replace the shoe because I've worn it. New Balance said they wouldn't replace the shoe because I've had it longer than a month. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that was poorly made, and then have the two companies that should be backing up their product refuse to replace it.

Bought these shoes two or three years ago, wore them almost every single day. The amount of abuse these shoes have endured while maintaining wear-ability is incredible. They're now my drumming/house shoes, only now do I have to replace them due to the left shoe falling apart at the heel. Probably the least water resistant shoes I've ever owned though. Bear that in mind and it's easy to plan around. Great shoe, probably buying another pair at some point down the road!

Probably the best shoe I've ever owned! I'm on my second pair now and will be buying more. Also, Zappos has the best customer service in the universe!

I'm so disappointed with these. My son has been wearing them for 5 weeks and the suede strip on the toe is completely ripping open/tearing away from the nylon below. These are very poor quality. He has worn a different style of NB that has never done this. I won't buy this style again.

For anyone with issues where the toe bed is narrow, or when a narrow shoe pushes the big toe in, we know that no matter how nice or expensive the shoes, if they don't fit right, you can't wear them. NB is one of the few shoe makers that have married style and ergonomic function to make a great looking comfortable shoe. I will be wearing NB the rest of my life. Thanks NB.

Not only are these shoes stylish, they are very comfortable! Also the customer service is always A+. I may have to buy another pair!

I normally wear regular width shoes and while I do have wider feet, they fit fine. I specifically ordered the EE-wide version of these shoes and they were so tight I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes.

Comfortable shoes and I really like the way it looks. Have been complemented by others as well. It's a little tight in the front at first, but seems to be fine after breaking the shoes.

Great shoe, fits as expected, very comfortable. FYI The orange is very bright, almost a pinkish tint.

I've been buying NB 574's in US men's 10.5 for too long to remember. It's such that I can fly blind on Zappos all day long and know that when they arrive, they'll fit exactly like every other pair I own. I also have found that when NB lists as size as "wide" or "EE", about 90%-95% of the time I go down to a 10 and the shoes still fit exactly as I would expect them to. These were way too narrow for my feet, which, on a Brannock measure about ~9.5 4E. I'm not sure if their sizing convention changed or if they're experimenting with new lasts on the wide 574's but I've come to find that I simply can't wear these. Bummer too, 'cause I really love the color despite being reminded of their Seahawks-like flavor.

Got these for my grandson who has a wide foot and is hard to fit. He liked the style as these 574's did not have the big number on the back. He is tough to find shoes for and these fit his foot.
